Chapter 201 - Goodbye To Stevan

Raymond sighed, looking at Bryana in frustration. "Jill, dad hid all that too because he didn't want Dean to leave you. He knows you two have a dark past and are finally happy after meeting and loving each other. He just doesn't want to ruin your happiness," he explained sadly.

Bryana was silent for a moment and left the dining room. She returned to the room and was crying again.

Raymon followed Bryana and tried to prevent her from returning to Indonesia because he was worried that if anything bad happened to his father, his younger sister would not be by his side.

"Jill, please think carefully. Daddy who raised us loves us, we as his children must take care of him when he is helpless. He needs our love," said Raymond looking at Bryana who was sitting on the edge of the bed crying hugging the pillow.

"But dad's way is wrong... I can't be without Dean. I do love dad but I can't keep sitting around here while my husband is gone in a misunderstanding. I'm also thinking about the future of my future baby!" Bryana still insisted on going home.

Raymond and Bryana stared at the open bedroom door. they saw Monica who came with Raymond's smartphone.

"There's a call from Brandon," Monica said as she handed the phone to Raymond.

Raymond looked at Monica with a flat gaze as he grabbed the smartphone and put it directly to his right ear. "Hello, Brandon. What's wrong?"

"James was found dead, sir. Not far from where Kenzie's body was found yesterday," Brandon answered over the phone.

Raymond fell silent as he clenched his jaw and started to catch his breath, then immediately threw his smartphone on the floor shattering it into pieces.

"GUSTAVE IS EVIL!!" Raymond shouted angrily then ruffled his hair in frustration.

"What's the matter, what happened?" Monica asked in surprise.

"Is this about Dean?" Bryana asked because she was also worried about the safety of Dean who Gustave might be after because he had forbidden Gustave from taking Sofia.

"James was found dead near the location where Kenzie's body was found. that means we've lost someone who can explain everything to Dean that daddy's innocent!" Raymond explained furiously. He sat on the couch, looking down and ruffling his hair in anger at the situation.

"Death?" Monica shuddered at the thought of how cruel and cunning this Gustave was.

"The only dad can explain in detail .... our only hope is her and now he is not aware," said Bryana weakly. She was also worried about the safety of Dean who always kept Sofia from being chased by Gustave. She did not expect, Sofia's grandfather to be so cruel that he even easily killed James and Kenzie.

"Looks like Gustave is planning something big to make things like this into chaos. maybe he told James to give Dean a false explanation so he doesn't help our family's security anymore!" Raymond said, guessing.

"And I will still return to Indonesia to meet him," said Bryana as she got out of bed. Her blank stare was filled with anger. "I've only been here two days and things are terrible. Slander, shocking facts and Death, come easily. I want to rest in my comfortable home!"

"But dad not awake yet, Jill!" Raymond said annoyed.

Bryana was silent and chose to take a tissue to wipe her tears, then grabbed her branded bag. "I'm going to see dad now," she said.

"I'm coming," said Monica.

"I'll catch up later," Raymond said.

They all immediately walked out of the room. Bryana and Monica immediately took Calvin to the hospital accompanied by one of the drivers and several bodyguards, while Raymond cleaned up because he hadn't showered before.

Arriving at the hospital, Bryana sat on the chair beside the hospital bed where her father was still lying weakly motionless except for breathing, while Monica and Calvin stood beside her.

Bryana held his father's hand, then said, "Dad, I don't know where to start... But I'm so disappointed with all the facts that you are hiding. I know you are doing all this for my happiness, but this way is very wrong."

"You have to come back to your senses and clear up all these misunderstandings, this matter because I don't want my husband to leave me, then I become unmarried for the second time." Bryana stood up and directed Stevan's hand to the surface of her belly which was covered by her dress. "Don't let your second grandson be born without a father figure by side just because of this matter."

"Are you still going?" Raymond asked.

"Yes, I want to meet my husband. Who knows he will hear an explanation from me, but you and dad still have to apologize to him," Bryana answered sadly.

"Take care of yourself. I'll keep you updated on any developments in daddy's condition," Raymond shouted angrily.

Bryana nodded, then leaned in and kissed her father's forehead. She still has love even though resentment and disappointment fill her heart. "You should wake up and recover as usual," she whispered.

After saying goodbye, Raymond took Bryana and Monica, and others to the airport because the private jet that would take them to Indonesia was scheduled to depart soon because the schedule was moved forward to balance the schedule of other public aircraft flights.

"Honey, take care of my sister. I will add more Bodyguard personnel to save you because Gustave could do something dangerous," said Raymond, looking at Monica, while the others had started to enter the plane.

"You also have to take care of your health while you're here. Even though there are many problems, you have to keep your spirits up. I will always support you from a distance," Monica exclaimed with a warm smile at Raymond who looked like he didn't want to see her go.

"You're not mad at me anymore?" Raymond asked.

Monica shook her head and tiptoed to kiss Raymond's lips for a moment. "I can't stay mad at you for long. Don't be sad anymore. I'm going to take care of your sister."

Raymond nodded then hugged Monica tightly before heading off to board the plane that might be leaving soon. 'I promise. If dad comes to his senses, I will return things to the way they were before.. I also miss peace,' he thought sadly.
