19 Aftermath

On the morning after the Hansoo group's gala, almost all of the news program was talking about the drama that happens during the night. Fan MeiLi sat on her sofa watching tv enjoying her time off, because of everything that happens the company gave the employees two days off.

The company wanted the employees to calm their emotions and also get rid of the high executives who plotted against the CEO. Fan MeiLi wasn't upset at all so she focused her time on finishing her part of the deal with Adam Yu. It took a while but she was happy to finally have a set location on where Kang Sena was located.

When Adam Yu talked about Kang Sena in such a loving way, she truly hoped that Kang Sena wasn't a person tempted by money. After searching it was made known to Fan MeiLi that whoever wanted to hide Adam Yu's lover paid no price.

She thought that with all the years Adam Yu spent searching he would locate her if she was still in China. His family decided to hide the gem in plain sight so that Adam wouldn't even think of searching in his own backyard.

[Since you helped me accomplished my goal, it's only fair I finish my part.] Fan MeiLi sent to Adam Yu.

After a few moments her phone dinged, [I saw what happen on the news. Was this what you wanted to happen when you found that night.]

[MeiLi: Let's just say you help a lot of people by sending that package. I hope my information can help you.]

[Adam Yu: Trust me when I say it will, I searched for so long. I finally see hope in my future.]

[MeiLi: Good luck but I must warn you that your lady might not be the same after all these years.]

[Adam Yu: Thank you. I know it might be a futile effort but I don't wish to have regrets in my life.]

Fan MeiLi could only smile at Adam Yu's text, he is one of the rare guys who never gives up on his heart's belief. While she was thinking of that an image of the rude CEO popped in her head, someone like him who was cold couldn't melt other's hearts.

Li Wei sat in the boardroom of the Hansoo group watching the sweating group of shareholders. Many of them knew that they were doomed once Li Wei found out about the plan to take over the company. The most afraid was Li Wei's cousin, Li Jun, the fourth highest shareholder of the Hansoo group.

He spent most of his life living in his cousin shadow because he was born inside the branch family of the Li family, so he always had to admit defeat. Two years of kissing up and being nice to Li Wei he finally believed his time to rule was near but never knew that he was walking into Li Wei's trap.

"We all know why we are here so let's get down to business. Those who wished to harm the Hansoo group should settle with me and leave so I never see you again or pay an even heavier price." Li Wei finally spoke breaking the silence in the room.

The shareholders in the wrong turned pale at Li Wei's words, but Li Jun couldn't fight back not after working so hard.

"CEO Wei, this was just a misunderstanding, a mere talk! None of us wished to actually harm the company." Li Jun said with a nervous smile.

The room turned artic and Li Wei looked at his cousin with an icy glare, "A misunderstanding? Your mere talk was about the downfall of my company. No matter if you wanted it to happen or not, the very idea was enough to spell your doom."

Li Wei stood up and stared down at everyone in the room, "Anyone who tries to pull underhand deals against me will always pay, no matter if it succeded or fail.So if you don't want me to come up with a worse punishment then I suggest you all leave my sight and never let me see or hear from you again." Li Wei said with such darkness that it would make even the toughest person scared.

Once Li Wei was finished he left the shareholders in the boardroom pale and on the verge of tears. Li Jun knew that his life was doomed, once his father found out about his part in this plan he would be expelled from the Li family.

Back in his office Li Wei looked at some resume on who could fill the now vacant positions of his higher-ups in his company. Mo Han came inside the office and waited for Li Wei to calm his anger from meeting the shareholder.

Without taking his eyes off his work, "Have you found the person who sent me the message last night?" Li Wei asked.

Mo Han placed a picture on his boss's desk, "The security camera could only find a lady in a red dress who was in the position to take that video. After following Miss Wu she walked in a blind spot where she must have sent the message. Sir, whoever this person is walked around the ballroom in a way where the camera wouldn't see her face."

"How is that possible?" Li Wei asked picking up the picture.

"I not sure but many employees who attended must have seen her face, so when work resume I can do a more detail search."

Li Wei started at the picture and a smile broke out on his face, the red dress had a purple flower on the back. It was the same dress his little tiger was wearing and he already knew that she worked in the company.

"Mo Han forget the search, instead look for the female employees who road the elevator on Monday two weeks ago. Once you're done get me a detail report on everyone one of them including a profile picture." Li Wei said while resuming his own work.

Mo Han was confused by his boss's order, could it be that he already figured out who the hacker was by a single picture. Mo Han left the office with a muddled mind not seeing Li Wei with a huge smile.

Li Wei was, even more, entertain by the lady who was like a little tiger, he couldn't wait to see what other surprises she had under her belt.
