24 First day

Next day, she joined her job. She was appointed as third sub assistant of CEO. John has total five sub assistants for various departments. Charlie was head assistant. Other five assistants had to report him all the activities and records daily twice. After getting reports from the sub assistants, he go through the records and made final report to submit to the CEO. The post office third assistant was lying vacant for three months as the ex assistant retired. So, so many works were pending . After joining Zinu had to go through a training of fifteen days. No leave would be sanctioned in this period. She had to follow first sub assistant to learn her work. She knew, she would learn her work easily, but was worried about the first rule. As per rule, she could not apply for a leave. But, she must take Ronnie to the psychiatrist as soon as possible. She already took an appointment. But, how could she got a leave?

"Miss Zinu, where are you flying? This is workplace. You will be paid highly for work, not for daydreaming. "Miss Jennifer told Zinu with disgusting look. She was the first assistant.She was known as 'beauty with brain'. She was very hard working lady but too much arrogant. She was the most beautiful lady of this company. She was five feet six inches tall, with attractive figure. Every male employees was drooling over her. But, she always gave a cold shoulder to them. She used to bullie the others.Her only aim was to impress the CEO and marry him. After marrying him, her life would settled. The CEO also liked her for her devotion to duty oblivious to her intentions. She was enjoying the attention of each of every person of the company until now. But, today she felt threat as she saw a lady with more beautiful figure. At first she thought may be some model came to their office for some reason, but shocked when Charlie introduced her as Miss Zinu Wilson,the newly appointed sub assistant. Charlie ordered Jennifer to take Zinu under her for her training, as she was first and the most experienced among other.

Jennifer could not believe her ears. If this beautiful girl does her job here, then how she would be able to attract the CEO towards her. She was confident that someday she would be successful, although John never gave her a look, other than an employee. But, after seeing Zinu, Jennifer felt her confidence level lowered. So, since morning she was waiting for a chance to scold Her. For fifteen days Zinu had to sit with Jennifer in her cabin. She was given a table with a computer.

"I am sorry Miss Jennifer. My mind had diverted. "

"You should be sorry. I am here to report your work to boss. So, try to follow my orders. " Jennifer said arrogantly.

"Sure, Miss Jennifer.Thank you for your advice.I hope ,you will never get a chance " Zinu smiled.

Jennifer nodded and started to do her work.

Half an hour before the lunch, Zinu had done her work for the day. She worked nonstop without a break for almost four hours. As it was first day, she was given less work, that day. As an experienced accountant, it was very easy for her. She had to go to the doctor's clinic, so she hurriedly completed her work.

"Miss Jennifer, I have to take half day leave today. My work for today is finished. Here is the file. Now I have to go to CEO's office to grant the leave. Please check it, so I can submit it to Mr Charlie. And please recommend my leave" Zinu said with a smile.

"What? Do you know what are you saying. You are not allowed to take any leave for fifteen days. What do you think you are? A VIP? I will not recommend any leave. " Jennifer said angrily.

"Please, it's important for me to take a leave today. " Zinu pleaded. Jennifer thought for some time. 'For a newly joined employee no leave is allowed,but this girl wanted one. That means, if she goes to the CEO for leave, he would fired her. If this happened,then it would be a good chance to remove a competitor without any competition. So, I should let her go to the CEO office. '

"If you want to take a leave, you have to take from the CEO. "Said Jennifer.

" Ok.I am going to boss's office. See you tomorrow. "Said Zinu and left hurriedly. She only left an hour for the appointment and she had to fetched Ronnie from room also.

She took long breath before knocking the door of the CEO. " Boss, May I come in? "She aked.

John was writing something on a file. " Come in. "

John's heart was beating faster seeing her. last night was the most painful night for him. He didn't go home yesterday.He couldn't had energy to do so. So, he decided to sleep on the adjacent rest room. But,whole night he couldn't sleep for a while.He only thought about the child and imaginary husband of Zinu. He decidedthat, next day he would not go on front of her. At least some of his pain would subside. But as the time was passing,his mind was also changing. The love of his life is so near, how he could he restraint himself? It was also a torture for him. He wanted to call her, but stopped himself.But now see,she herself came here. 'Why this girl come again in front of me. It is a torture to me. She is not mine anymore. I can't endure this pain of heart. But, I don't want her go away from me. I want to keep her near me. Oh god!
