148 Competition Starts

The employees of Smith Enterprise were surprised to know that, someone could challenge their CEO for his position.

They knew that Smith Enterprise is John Smith's own company. He and his family members had all the eighty per cent of shares in the company. John Smith had fifty per cent shares under his name. His grandfather was the founder of the company, although it was only a small textile industry then. His father and grandmother tried their best to turn the textile industry to Smith Enterprise. Although they were successful to some extent, John singlehandedly raised the company to the greatest heights.

Everyone knew that John could not live without the company. He is made for this company. The employees saw his dedication to his work. They saw him working for the whole night, whenever it was necessary.

They all knew that John Smith had a lot of enemies, who always trying to harm him and the company. But John was always successful to beat down all his foes by his unique tactics.  All the employees hoped that John could beat down his opponent this time also and remain in his position forever.

Inside the meeting room, with another announcement, the competition started.

On the other hand, Zinu and Dolly were talking to each other in the cabin of the hospital. It was almost noon. They both went to the ICU to see how Mrs Smith is doing.  They met a doctor and asked about her.

"Don't worry Mrs Smith. The patient's condition is stable till now.  It is a good signal. The specialist will reach here by today evening. After his arrival, we can decide what to do with her? She will need surgery, but the final decision has not taken yet." The doctor informed them and left.

" Zinu, what do you think? Will she be fine?"Dolly asked Zinu.

"Yes, dear. I think she will come out from all these. She has a strong will power. She can not leave us like this."

Dolly sighed.

"I hope so. By the way, where are mom and Ronnie now? Have they already reached the city?"

"Yes, mother just sent me a message. They reached home. They will come here after some time. Ronnie is tired by the journey."

"My poor child! He needs some break."Dolly said with a sigh.

"Yes, John has already talked with the directors. He will not go to any event this whole week. His recordings of songs also postponed for a fortnight. He needs to study well too. So, for the study also he needs sufficient time."

"Yes. That is good. Let's go to the cabin and take a nap. I am feeling sleepy."Dolly said.

"Ok. Let's go."

As they reached the cabin, their mobile rang at the same time. It was a message notification. They both opened the message and shocked.

"Oh my god! Have you got the notification?"

"Yes. But what is this all about? Are they mad? My poor brother! Why has he always surrounded by problems?"

In the Smith enterprise, all the employees mobile phone also connected with the Public Address system of the company. If anything showed on the big screen, every employee could watch it on their mobile phones also. Both Zinu and Dolly got the notification about the competition, as their phone numbers were also connected with the system.. They both shocked to see it.

On the screen, Charlie was announcing about the competition.

"Who is this Tonny Heck? How dare he challenge bro for the position of the CEO of the company? This company is my brother's. How can anyone even think to snatch it from him?" Dolly asked in shock.

"Don't worry Dolly. Nobody can snatch the company from your brother. It is his lifeline. He never let anyone snatch it from him. He is not such a person, to whom easily can bully. I think he will teach a lesson this arrogant man, who dared to challenge him."

Dolly nodded. She knew that it is not easy to beat down John. They both sat together and waited for the competition to start.

"But, can John bro be able to concentrate on the competition properly? He is worried about Grandma's condition. You said that he even could not sleep properly last night. "Dolly asked worriedly.

"Don't worry Dolly, Your brother is not that weak. Just have faith in him. Don't forget that he is the most successful businessman in the country. He did not become successful, by depending on others. Getting the position was not easy for him. Apart from this now he has a strong team to support. He has talented Charlie and Karl behind him. I believe that they will not let anyone harm John or Smith Enterprises that easily."

"I too hope so," Dolly replied.

They both started to watch the competition, which had started already. One of the directors announced the rules of the competition. Both the participant could take as much time, he likes to perform his talent.

Tonny Heck raised from his seat and went near the speaker.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Charlie has already introduced me. I am Tonny Heck. I want to get the CEO position of the Smith Enterprise. Because I know that for the position, we have to be active, careful and also be alert. I had nothing three years ago, but now you can see that I have a company, which is doing so well. I hope within a few years it would be the best. Don't think that I could do all these by doing nothing.No, I used my brain and also using some connections, now I am a successful businessman. Now I have a total of ten per cent of the shares of Smith Enterprise. Doing all this was not easy for me.
