262 Surprise

"John Bro! Why are you here? Were not you in the forest?" Charlie asked in a surprised tone.

"Yes I was in the forest, but I returned as something happened there. Let us talk about it later. At first, you tell me what you were talking about? Was not it about me? From when do you started to talk behind my back?" John Smith asked with a calm voice.

"It's nothing John Bro. We were talking about something randomly. It's not about you." Charlie said with a smile and silently stole a glance at David. David said nothing and lowered his eyes to avoid eye contact with John Smith.

John Smith looked at both of them and nodded. He sat down on a sofa nearby and smiled.

"Are you sure? Are not you hiding anything from me? David and Charlie, you both are very bad in hiding something." John Smith said in same calm voice.

Both of them realized that now they would not be able to hide anything from him. David cleared his throat to tell him everything, but stopped by Charlie.

"John Bro, it's really nothing. It's not a very big thing. But you should hurry up and go to your room now. There is something big waiting for you." Charlie said with a mischievous tone. David too smiled and nodded.

"What is it, Charlie? I think you are aware that now I am not in the mood of any joke.Right?" John Smith said with a cold tone.

John Smith was too worried for the unsuccessful mission in the Vast Mountain Forest. Yes, his trip to the Vast Mountain Forest was unsuccessful, as he could not get Lucas or Mr Lee there. As per the report he got there, they never entered the forest after they arrived in the country C. So he returned to the resort without any success.

"I am serious John Bro. As you are already here, you should not waste your time in unnecessary things. A big surprise is waiting for you in your room. I swear. You should hurry up now." Charlie said with the same mischievous smile.

David chuckled. John Smith looked at both of them confusedly. He knew that they are trying to send him away from them and will not tell him anything now, so he decided to leave. 

"Ok. I am leaving, as I am too tired now. But don't think that I am going to leave you that easily. We will talk later. Good night." John Smith said and left.

Both David and Charlie watched him go and sighed in relief. Both of them knew that John Smith would be very angry if he came to know about the matter about Jackson. So they decided to hide it from John Smith as long as possible.

'Charlie told me that there is a surprise waiting for me in my room. What is it? Was he joking?I think he just told me that to send me away from them.' John Smith thought and opened the door.

As he opened the door of the room, he surprised to find the familiar fragrance in the room.

"Zinu! But how is it possible? I must be dreaming as I am too tired and also missed her ."He murmured and turn on the light hurriedly. But his eyes widen in shock to see the person lying on his bed.

"Zinu!!"He said like a whisper and hurriedly reached near her and looked with a shocked expression.

'Am I dreaming? It must be. Otherwise, how would she be here? She is far away in the home. How can she be here? 'John Smith thought and went nearer to touch her .

Zinu was sleeping but woke up as she heard the sound in the room. As she opened her eyes, she too shocked to see John Smith in front of her. At first, she could not remember where she was, but slowly she remembered everything. She rubbed her eyes in confusion. She knew that John Smith would not be able to return there that soon, but how did he come here so suddenly?

"Hubby......You ..........you have came ! I........... I missed you. I ........I was too worried for you.A..........Are you fine?"Zinu somehow managed to utter.

John Smith was snapped out of his wandering daze by hearing Zinu's voice. Yes, she is really here.

"Zinu!W.......Why are you here?" John Smith asked in a surprised tone.

Zinu pouted her lips to hear him.

"Are you asking me why am I here? How can you ask me this? I came here running for you and you are asking me why am I here? Ok. I understand now. You don't love me. In fact, you never loved me. I should not come here."Zinu told and got up to go away from John Smith.

John Smith smiled. He held her and hugged her tight. Zinu tried to free herself from him, but could not.

"Let me go. I should not come here. You.........you never missed me. Now I understood everything. You don't want me in your life. That's why you did not care to call me. Let me go. I will return home now ."Zinu said loudly.

John Smith smiled. He sniffed her hairs and kissed on her forehead.

"Wifey. Don't move. let me hold you for a moment, please. I missed you." John whispered.

Zinu felt a current passed through her body. She missed his tender love very much. She sighed in relief and hugged him back. The two lovers forgot everything and lost in each other.
