"Zinu ,how are you fine? Did you sleep well?"

"I am too worried. What are they doing there for two days? John is not well. They should at least inform me .I think , should join my duty today. I should go there and see what is happening there after all. We even don't know what the board of directors had decided."Zinu said worriedly .

"But you can't join your duty."

"What! Why? Why I can't join my duty."Zinu asked .

"Because Charlie had sanctioned sick leave for both of us a few days ago."

"Oh. If that is the case, then I should not go there."Zinu said in low voice.

"Zinu, I think the problem has already solved."

Zinu looked at her with surprised look. Dolly smiled.

"Don't give me that look."

"How did you know? I mean how did you know that the problem has solved already?"Zinu asked curiously.

"That woman has not posted anything these two days. Why is she silent, if the problem has not solved yet? Isn't it? So don't worry too much." 

"Are you sure? I don't know why, but I .... I have some uneasy feelings now. May be this .... this silence is the same as the calmness before the storm."Zinu said in a low voice.

"Don't worry Zinu .You are thinking too much.Let us go for a walk." Dolly said and hold her hand .

Zinu nodded and followed her .They reached the garden and talked for a long time.

"I think we should go in now.I am tired."Zinu said.

"Mee too.Let us go."As they about to enter inside of the house,a maid came running and almost knocked them .Both of them shocked. 

"What is this?You were about to knock both of us."Dolly said loudly.

"Please forgive me.I was coming to you two to inform something. Something happened there."The maid said in very low voice.

"What happened?"Zinu asked .

"Some ..... someone is there.Look."The maid pointed towards the drawing room."

Both Zinu and Dolly looked at the sofa.Someone was sitting over there and talking to Mrs Smith.But as her face was towards them ,they could not see the person. Zinu looked at Mrs Smith.She looked too worried.

"Zinu you go to your room and take rest."Mrs Smith said her ,when she saw Zinu standing on the entrance. Zinu looked at her suspiciously.

"Dolly you take her to her room. I am speaking with a guest."Mrs Smith signaled Dolly ,when she was that both of them were looking at her suspiciously.

"Ok.Grandma. We are going." Dolly said and pulled Zinu's hand to leave the drawing room.

"Let us go Zinu. We are too tired. We have to take some rest. Isn't it?" Dolly said and hurriedly left the drawing room and entered her room.

"Zinu. We are tired. We need some rest. You should think about the baby, more than the guest.Isn't it? After all Grandma is there to entertain the guest."

Zinu nodded.She was really tired.She had no energy to go to her room by climbing the stairs.Both friends took rest for some time.After one hour,a maid came to the room with their lunch.

"Why have you brought it here?We can go there and eat with everyone."Zinu said to the maid.

"Lady boss, Elder lady boss has sent your lunch here. She said that you need not to go out ."The maid said in professional manner.

"But, Why? We eat together everyday. Where is grandma?"Zinu asked in surprised voice.

"Elder Lady boss is having her lunch with the guest." The maid replied.

"What! The guest has not gone yet? Who is the person? Is the person very important?"Zinu asked curiously.

"I can not tell you anything. Please have your lunch." The maid said and about to leave the room. But Zinu stopped her.

"Listen,send the maid who approached us at the door."Zinu said suddenly.

"She had left for her home. She got some emergency message from her mother just now. "The maid replied.

"Oh.Ok then. You can leave."Zinu said in low voice.

"Dolly,is not this strange?"Zinu asked Dolly ,who was preparing the table for their lunch.

Dolly looked at her questioningly.

"What is it ?What is strange here?" Dolly asked .

"Just think about it. Grandma has sent us to your room immediately after we reached at the entrance. She even sent our lunch to this room. The maid who went there to tell us about something ,has left for her hometown. I am feeling like Grandma is trying to hide something from me."Zinu said in low voice.

"Zinu,I think you are thinking too much.If there is something, you will know about it very soon.But before that you should not waste your time for it. Come let us have our lunch. I am hungry."Dolly said.

Zinu nodded and sat down on a chair to have her lunch. Dolly sighed.

'Oh God!Why are you testing my friend like this.There must be someone related to the scandal has came to meet grandma. Otherwise she would not act like this.' Dolly thought and silently had her lunch.

As they finished the lunch, someone knocked at the door. It was Mrs Smith.

"Grandma! Why are you here?" Dolly asked curiously. Mrs Smith usually came to her room whenever she had to tell something important.

"Why? Can not I come here? Don't forget that this is my granddaughter's room. I can come and go, whenever I want."Mrs Smith replied in a stern voice.

"No no no. Please don't get angry. I did not meant that." Dolly replied hurriedly. She felt the frustration in her Grandmother's voice.

"I am not angry. I am just disappointed."Mrs Smith said in tearful voice.

Zinu was sitting on the bed silently. When she saw Mrs Smith is sad, she got up and pulled her towards the bed.

"Grandma. Please sit down. Don't be sad .Have a glass of water please.'Zinu said and offered a glass of water to Mrs. Smith.

"I am sorry Zinu.I am very sorry.I.... I could not protect you properly.I .......I wanted to bring you to my grandson's life, as you are perfect for him. But I never thought that this would happen. I am feeling helpless Zinu. Please forgive me."Mrs Smith uttered the words somehow and started to cry.

Both Zinu and Dolly shocked to hear her.Both of them looked at her with shock.

"Grandma,wh....what are you speaking? Why are you crying. Please calm down and tell us what happened."Zinu asked worriedly.

"Yes Grandma. We will find some way. Please don't cry." Dolly said and hold Mrs Smith.

Mrs Smith sat down on the bed and cried there for about ten minutes. Zinu and Dolly waited patiently for her to calm down. After some time she wiped her tears and held Zinu's hand . She could not met her eyes with her.

"Zinu ,you have to go to your mom's place today."Mrs Smith uttered in low voice.

Both of them shocked to hear her.Zinu sat down on the bed with a thud.

"Wh....what did you just said? Why....why would she go to aunt's house? What happened here?Please tell us." Dolly asked in surprised voice.

"Something happened here today. It is better for her to leave the Smith Manor today. Her Mom's house is the safest place for her."Mrs Smith said in sad voice.

"Will you tell us what happened?" Dolly asked impatiently.

"The woman, who claimed to be John's fiancée arrived here today. She.....she is going to live here from now on."

"What! How is it possible? Why did you let her in? Now you are even saying that Zinu should leave the house. Isn't she a member of this house? How can you give her permission to live here? Have you thought what will happen to Zinu and Ronnie? She......she is pregnant now.How can you take a decision like this?" Dolly yelled at her. She was very angry to hear this.
