285 Board Meeting

"Yes mom. You are correct .He is going through a hard time now. Thank you for guiding me mom .I was really too much confused."Zinu said in a low voice.

"Yes Zinu. It is not easy for him to control the situation now. I have heard that he is struggling to bring the company back to the previous state. Apart from that, he is facing some new challenges daily, as the competitors of the Smith Enterprise is trying hard to destroy him. He will be frustrated if you too create some problems in his life. You should wait patiently. He will come to you eventually. You should eat properly and take rest these days." Sofia said with a smile.

Zinu nodded and hugged her mother.

"Mom ,thank you for your support all along .I will do as you told." She said .

"Ok. Now let us go inside. You should sleep early today. Ronnie and your father must have returned already." Sofia got up and hold Zinu's hand. Both of them left the garden .

Zinu slept early that night .Before she slept she had sent a message to John Smith. As the mobile phone of John Smith was switched off it was not delivered. She sighed and switched off her mobile.

John Smith was very busy these days. Although he was not well ,but he had to do work day and night to get back the previous position of the Smith Enterprise in the market again.

"John Bro. Why are you pushing yourself that hard? It will harm your health. When you should be at the hospital, you are doing work day and night. "Charlie said on the third day, when he saw John Smith got up after taking a short nap on the table. He had not slept even for one hour last two days. He tried to make John Smith convince to take some rest, but he never listened.

"Charlie ,I have no time to waste. I have to bring back the everything within these two days .I can not sleep now .Can I?I already spent two days. If I can not make everything better in the remaining two days, everyone will lost trust on me. "John Smith said and entered the adjacent bathroom to fresh up.

Charlie sighed. He knew that what John Smith was saying is true. There was a board meeting of the Smith Enterprise two days ago. Most of the directors present on the meeting was supporting John Smith. But there were a few people there who were to create problems for him.

"I think you are correct. The success of a company also depends on the reputation of the people working there .The people is losing their trust on the company product as the scandal of the running CEO.I think he should take seriously the matter. If he had engaged to a girl, she should not betray her. He should have marry her." Another director said in a loud voice. He was a friend of Dyna Mia's father. John Smith looked at the man with blank expression.

"Yes .That is correct. He should take the responsibility. If not he should leave the position of the CEO. The people will forget everything once the CEO is changed. What do you think." Another director said.

"I think we should give him a chance to explain all these. He have been doing good since he had join the company. I think he would be able to control the situation."

"Yes I too think that.We should give him some time to bring back the previous state of the company."

All the directors discussed the matter for a long time and decided to give John four days of time to settle the matter. Although it was a big challenge, John Smith accepted the challenge in no time.

"I have accepted the challenge .I will bring back the company in the previous state, but I have a condition." John Smith said after thinking about something.

"Please tell us Mr John Smith, what is it? If you can bring back the company to the previous position, we can go through your condition." One of the director said in a calm voice.

"I can bring back the company to previous state, but you have to leave my personal affairs .To whom I would marry, to whom not it is totally my personal matter. I don't like anyone to step on my personal matter." John Smith said in a cold voice.

Everyone felt chill went through their spines. They looked at the director, who told about John Smith's scandal.

"I .... I told as....as it would affect badly the company." The director said in a low voice.

"The company is also mine. If the company do good or bad, it would have more effect on me more than you. So I am more concerned about it. But it does not means that you have the right to tell me to whom I should marry. What if I tell that you should divorce your wife, as you have affair with numerous women. Have not your wife found you cheating on her with them recently? What do you think?"

"I .....I am sorry Mr John Smith. I ..... I ....I was just talking with that woman in a hotel room.My wife misunderstood me."

"Leave it Mr Daniel. I was just assuming that you have some affairs. Look into your own matter. Don't try to step into other people's matter." John Smith said in a cold voice.

"Ok. Now it is decided. I will bring back the company to a good position within four days. If I would be failed to do so ,I will take the responsibility resign from the position of the CEO." John Smith added in a loud voice.

Everyone nodded and left the meeting room.After left the meeting room,Mr Daniel dialled Mr Jason's number and called him to meet .He explained him everything happened in the meeting.He was the father of Dyna Mia.Mr Jason Mia was also a share holder of the Smith Enterprise.He made a group and sent his people to attend the meeting of board.He remained absent in the meeting,as he knew that ,the members will talk about his daughter's marriage to John Smith.He did not wanted to force John Smith directly as it will affect the relationship of his daughter to John Smith. But he managed to convinced three members of the board of directors, who would force John Smith to marry the girl, who was claiming to be his fiancée.

"Why did you agreed to this? Did not I tell you to force him to marry my daughter? How can you give him another chance to control the situation? Here I am trying to make thigs hard for him and you agreed to his proposal of make up. Don't you know that John Smith will not let go the company that easily.We had a chance.You should at least think of my daughter, who use to think you as her own uncle.How can you do this to me and my daughter? I even promised to help with the new business.I am the major share holder of your company. You should take my things seriously.I should not trust you.It will never happen,if I were present there."Mr Jason Mia said angrily.

"Mr Jason.I am sorry that I could not do anything.But do you think that it will be easy for him to restore the company in the previous state in this short period?The company has already faced a big loss.Mr John Smith would never be able to control the situation. Once he would failed with the target he set in front of us,we can propose her marriage with him, in exchange of the position of the CEO of the company.Is not it a good thing?We can destroy Smith Enterprise by replacing him from the CEO position,if he would not agree to our proposal. If we can destroy the Smith Enterprise,our company will do good in future."Mr Daniel said with a wry smile.
