Chapter 18 - Going Home

Weeks have already passed since all the dirty little secret of Calvin and Sabrina were exposed.

Calvin was arrested by the police because of doing some illegal business and having illegal connection with some businessmen. And his parents didn't help him because they want him to learn from what he did.

Sabrina was also arrested because of suing illegal drugs but was bailed by her parents. They sent her to another country for her rehabilitation.

So much have changed in Calvin and Sabrina's life but for Ayesha it was still the same. She is still having nightmares, she still have her annoying best friend and Knight is still pursuing her and they are on the stage of getting to know each other in fact it is only Ayesha who is stuck in this stage because Knight already knew her very well.

Ayesha is having a great time relaxing at her balcony as she leisurely and comfortably sits on her chair which is made of rattan, reading a novel and a cup of tea and desserts is place on the table next to her. She was so engrossed in reading that she didn't immediately noticed her phone keeps on ringing. The caller kept on calling her until she finally noticed and she picked her phone and answered the call.

"Hello" she lazily answered without even looking at the caller's name.

"Did I disturb you my dear Granddaughter." an old man's voice spoke in the other line. Ayesha sat up as soon as she heard the voice.

"Grandpa, no.. no you didn't disturbed me, I was just reading a book." she answered. "Your timing is really great Grandpa, I was reading the most exciting chapter in the novel." she thought to herself while feeling downhearted. "By the way why did you call? And how are you and Grandma?" she added as she regain her cheerful tone.

"Good I thought I have disturbed you. Me and your Grandma are doing well here. Oh I called because I want to have a little chit-chat with my only grandchild." Her grandfather said but Ayesha didn't believe him, her Grandfather would only call her when he wanted to tell something to her very important.

"Spill the beans Grandpa, you have something to tell me." she said while looking at her book.

Her Grandfather sighed and said, "I want to tell you that your Grandma misses you so much and we will be going home, she have already book us a flight, and we are currently at the Airport right now waiting for our number to be called, and probably we will arrive there by night time already. She wanted to surprise you but I had the feeling that you might freak out when we arrive there that's why I called you." her grandpa said in a low voice even though he is sitting all alone because his wife went to the comfort room. As soon as Ayesha heared that her Grandma will be going home she freaked out and she didn't mean to shout at her Grandpa.

"WHAT? Grandpa why didn't you stop her? You know I don't like being with Grandma because she would just drag me to go shopping with her and she would force me to dress up like a noble lady." she whɨnėd at her Grandpa. She shivered when she remembered how her Grandma would dress her up and drag her to the mall to by her new clothes. Ayesha is a little bit scared of her Grandma because she is strict when it comes to proper etiquette but also have a quite childish personality when it comes to Ayesha, she doted on Ayesha the most.

"You know I'm also scared of her that's why I didn't dare stop her." Ayesha only sighed at what his Grandpa said. Her Grandfather may be ruthless when it comes to handling family matters and the business but he is most likely a puppy when it comes to her Grandmother. "And besides she wanted to meet the man whom you will be tied to for the rest of your life, I also want to meet him and talk to him personally." her grandfather said in a very serious voice.

"Ok Grandpa, I know I cannot do anything, I would just tell mother and father that you will arrive this evening so that the driver could fetch you at the airport and we could also prepare your rooms and mother could also make some of your favourite dishes." Ayesha said.

"Ok dear Ayesha, I need to hang up now because your Grandma is already coming here in my place, I don't want her to know that I've inform you ahead." Her Grandpa said

"Ok Grandpa take care." Ayesha said and ended the call. She place her book at the table and stood up, she went out from her room and made her way to the living room, there she saw her parents happily chatting and teasing each other, she could almost she the sparkles that surrounded her parents.

"Mother and Father may I disturb you for a while, I have something to tell, a good news and a bad news." She said, "Which do you prefer to be first the Good News or Bad News." She asked her parents in a serious tone.

"Good News" her parents said in unison.

"Ok as you two wish, the good news is grandpa called and he said that they will go home." Ayesha stated. "And the bad news is they will be coming this evening." she added. Her parents looked at her for a minute, they were still processing what their daughter have just said, after they have processed everything they stood up and asked the servants to immediately clean the masters bedroom because the two elders will be coming home. Mrs. Gonzales have also asked some servants to buy the ingredients that was listed on the paper she have written. Everybody in the Gonzales Mansion are busy except for Ayesha who went back to her room and continue reading the chapter where she have stopped.
