Chapter 44: Dogs Were Treated Better Than Humans

He was bad with numbers and money.

As he was used to seeing lots of money, he no longer felt thrilled at seeing them.

The alarming figure that he saw was enough to cover SEC’s profit for half a year.

It was extraordinary.

At the same time, his cell phone rang.

He slided the screen to answer the call, hearing Jing Yu’s annoying voice coming from the other end of the phone. “What’s wrong with you? Why are you so enthusiastic about work all of a sudden? I’m under a lot of pressure.”

“The profits that you made for one month is sufficient for SEC’s sales turnover for half a year. The eldest brother has said that you should quarrel more often with Gu Shinian in the future. In that case, you will be able to bring SEC to new heights.”

The call was hung up without a word.

The cell phone rang again. He had run out of patience.

“Lin Wange, who is this person?” Qin Muchen was really clueless about this name.

She was the person who made the phone call, saying that Gu Shinian was going overseas.

She could not be bothered with Gu Shinian, however, in the end, she had to use the name of the person that she had not been taking seriously to remind Qin Muchen of her.

It was a great humiliation to someone as proud and arrogant as her.

“Young Master Mu, it’s me. The auction will be held the day after tomorrow. W-will you be coming?”

Qin Muchen gave no reply but hung up the phone.

Lin Wange smashed the cell phone to pieces upon hearing the dial tone on the other end of the phone.

“Gu Shinian, Gu Shinian! Why is she everywhere?!”

“What’s so good about her!?”

Why was Qin Muchen so obsessed with her?!

If she had known that things would be like this, she should not have told Qin Muchen that Gu Shinian was leaving.
