8 Mark My Words

"Oh!!Now I understood why did you cheat. You find me ugly now. You enjoyed me. But now you're bored? You feel your toy is boring now? Rishi, your fake promises have costed me a lot. I had started lying to my parents. Why? Because of you. I used to yell and shout at my caring friend. Again because of you. You thought I was saying cheesy lines. When you're yourself so fake how can you find others real? You had hinted me many times to send nudes. But I ignored. Oh yes! Now I know why you are with those girls. Because they are ready to sleep with you anytime. Right?"

"Shut up Aliya!!"

"I was. I was shut up. But I won't be now. You will pay for what you did. God punishes those who play with somebody's feelings, whether he is young or old. You will also be punished for your deeds. And not only that, I will myself make you cry. One day you will follow me, plead me. You will rub your nose on floor, but I will still reject you. This will happen!! I will make it happen!! Aliya smashed the door and went out of the room. One of Rishi's friends followed her and showed her the path to sneak out. He had sympathy for Aliya.

Aliya was totally broken. In and out. She had no clue where to go. She wanted to smash her head on the wall. She was crying, weeping, yelling....

'How can I go home? How can I confront my parents? So many times I had lied to them. And for whom? That bastard! How will I face Anushka and say that I was wrong? How will I be normal after this? I can't go home. My mom will surely guess that something wrong has happened to me. What to do?'

"Oh God! Should I live or die out of shame?"

"Why should you die?"

Aliya turned back to see who was talking.

"You're still here?"

"I followed you. Generally people can't handle heartbreaks and they harm themselves.I know you are not in a state to go back home.So I thought to show you

a place where you can stay tonight."

"I dont even know your name. You're Rishi's friend, right?Why are you helping me? Am I talking to another person who will use me?"

"I only have sympathy for you. But I 'was' Rishi's friend. After hearing the whole story, and seeing his shamelessness, how can I continue friendship with him?"

"I can't trust anyone now. I dont want any place to live. I'll go home by myself."

"I know you won't trust me. Therefore I am asking you to stay in our hostel. We have a rest room. I will talk to our lady warden. She will understand."

"Will you tell her the whole story?"

"No. I will tell that you're lost here and want to stay here just for a night. I will say her that I found you outside the gate. Also I won't inform Rishi about this nor anyone else. Trust me once. Its night time and it's not safe for you to roam around."

Aliya thought that the guy was right. Its risky for her to go at night.

"What's your name?"

"Gaurav."

Gaurav signed her to hold his hand. Aliya held his hand and went inside the hostel. Gaurav was found to be trustworthy. He actually did what he told. Next morning Aliya returned her home. As soon as she reached.....

"Aliya??? Aliya are you listening? What happened? Why have you closed your eyes?"

PRESENT DAY*

"Aliya? Respond!"

Aliya felt someone shook her arms. Her boss was waking her up. She opened her eyes. She found herself in the cabin. Actually she was in flashback.

Her boss was frightened at this sight. As soon as Aliya opened her eyes he was scared. Firstly she wasn't responding for minutes and now her eyes were dready red. It was looking like if instead of tears she will shed blood. Mr.Verma was stand-still by this sight for a few seconds until he asked

Aliya are you ok?"

"Yes. What happened to me?"

"I thought nothing happened. But it seems that you were lost somewhere as soon as I took Rishi's name."

"Who?"

"I said Rishi."

"Oh! ha! Nothing to worry sir."

"But your eyes....

"They will be ok soon. I will look into this matter. I may also need your help."

"If you're honest then I'll surely help. Talk to that company. If the matter goes out of hand let me know. I'll help. Legal action against them may take place."

"Okay sir. I'll take your leave."

"Aliya just take a leave for today and talk to them. Dont delay it. Also take some rest. Of course you won't tell me but I suggest you to go home and then do your task. But complete your pending work tomorrow."

Aliya drove her car to her home. She was angry. She was fuming red.

'How shamelessly he has claimed me as his employee! Doesn't he knows about me? Or has he forgotten me after 10 years? Whatever it is, I have to call FASHION AND THE CITY. I have to talk to the new manager, if they have. But first let me take some rest. I should have more energy to bear those people.'

*2 hours later*

(Aliya on her call)

"But I want to make it clear. I'm not an employee of your company. Why aren't you people understanding such a simple thing? I was so polite to you in the start but now you are making me scream."

"Ma'am please try to understand. I'm the new manager here, Mr.Gera. Even I didn't knew about your matter. Our CEO has just informed me about you.And.....

"I'm not interested in what your CEO said. You're the manager right? Then tell your sir that stop threatening my boss. If he has any problems then he can talk to me. And let me tell you 'half knowledge is dangerous knowledge'. If he hasn't enquired the whole incident of that interview then tell him to do. And if he isn't doing this then tell him to talk to me. Stop threatening my boss."

Aliya was exhausted by the whole conversation.

'Oh God! How stubborn he was! The whole company is bullsh*t. How even I thought of working there!'

*ring ring*

"Whose calling now?"

"I am the CEO of FASHION AND THE CITY. I want to talk to you. Shall we meet in the office? Tonight 7 PM sharp."

"Hello? Exc.....

*beep_beep*

"How rude? He kept the phone without listening my answer! Then what was the point in asking me 'shall we meet'? Anyways, if he wants then we'll meet today. Let's see if has really forgotten me.....
