Jonathan Alepou's POV

I have brought Emily to the city hall where my sister, Dana, and our lawyer were meeting there. I was greeting them before introducing Emily to my lawyer, to show the choice of my wife. He nodded before we were inside the room to sign the marriage certificate.

"I hope you don't regret this," Emily mumbled as I was looking at her. She was signing the certificate before she was glaring at me. Then whispered to my ear.

"Who knows, maybe someone will attack you in your sleep," she said as she was kissing my earlobe. I smirked as I don't think she would have the gut. She loved to touch me that much.

Someone cleared their throat before I saw the lawyer was looking at us as the minister took the certificate away and it will be done in 3-10 days. I nodded at him before we were focusing on the lawyer.

"Well, as the will stated, your wife has to sign the prenup so that you will not lose your inheritance, sir," my lawyer said as I was looking at Emily. She was rolling her eyes at me.

"Fine, if you wanted to. I can sign since I don't have any intention to touch the foul inheritance anyway," she said as my lawyer was putting the papers in front of her and instructed her where to sign. I was looking at her before Emily closed the prenup and handed it to the lawyer.

"Well, that's done now," I said as I was getting up before Dana stepped in. I glared at her before she was smirking at me.

"Why don't we go to visit our headquarters? I'm sure Emily would love to know who you are," my sister said as Emily mumbled sure, why not. I grunted before we were in the car as Emily took the passenger seat and I was in the driver seat while Dana was behind us.

"I cannot believe it. My brother was married. I really should thank you, sister," Dana said as she was smiling before she was gripping Emily's hand. She blushed before she looked at me briefly and turned to smile at my sister.

"Well, what can I say? Your brother was a nice man," she said before she was glaring at me.

"Why do I get the feeling that it was not a compliment?" I said before I was parking the car at the designated parking lot. It was reserved for the owner of the Alepou's Trade Inc. I got out before I went to Emily's side and opened the door for her. She glared but she took my offered hand before we were walking inside the building.

Emily was looking at the interior design that has a chandelier in the main lobby before we were going to the private elevator and I was pushing the button before we were on the floor where my sister worked.

While I was not the one in charge, the employees knew who I was and they greeted me like Dana. I was the CEO now that I was showing my wife around to confirm the new status. I was holding Emily's hand when she was looking outside the window.

"Love, is something wrong?" I asked her as she turned to look at me. She has an unreadable expression in her eyes before she sniffed.

"Nothing, just something that I remembered when I was a kid," she said as she was dabbing her eyes before she smiled at me but it was not a genuine smile. How do I know? Well, I always know when my mate was smiling genuinely or not.

"Do you want to go?" I whispered to her as Emily was coming closer to me. She nodded slowly before I looked for Dana. She nodded at me as she can sense that I was distressed.

'I got this. Go take care of your mate,' she said as I went to the elevator and we were riding to the main lobby again. I was putting my hand on her lower back as I was guiding her to the car.

I opened the door for Emily as she slid in and I went to the driver's seat. I started the ignition and I sped off from the parking lot to our new home.

I did not tell Emily that we will be living alone from now on. My sister got her apartment that was closer to the headquarters so she can easily go to work even in the late nights. It was a demanding job, I must say. But for now, I will enjoy my company with my new wife.

"Scared?" I asked Emily as she was looking out the window. She turned to look at me with her intense glare.

"Why would I be scare? If anything, it's you," she said as I smirked. Emily was anything but a spitfire but once I touched her, I know she will succumb to me.

"If you say so," I said as I was looking at her. She was grunting before I was parking the car in front of the iron gate. Emily was looking at the iron gate before it opened up and I was looking at the house.

It has been a long time since I stepped here myself. Well, I will be bringing my wife here now and maybe our pups will grow together in this mansion. My heart warmed at the thought of our children together.

"Well, this is much bigger than my old apartment," Emily commented when I helped her out of the car before putting my hand on her lower back. I chuckled.

"And it comes with full staff for our needs," I added before Emily was eyeing me sideways. She shrugged before we were at the front door when the butler opened the door for me.

"Welcome home, Master Jay, we have been waiting for you," the butler said as Emily stiffed beside me. I know how much that nickname my father used to call me effected her before I was clearing my throat.

"It's good to be back and I have gotten married. I hope Mistress Dana told you so?" I asked him as we went inside the lobby. Emily was looking around as she was twirling. I cannot help but smile as she was looking at the chandelier and all that.

"Is the cook made the food yet?" I asked as I was shrugging off my coat. Emily was removing the cardigan that I insisted on her wear to cover her chest without a bra on. The butler nodded.

"Yes, we have prepared it in the dining room, if you wanted to eat now," the butler said as I was handing my coat and Emily's cardigan.

"Excellent, your madame, and I will be dining now," I said before I was putting my hand on the lower back of Emily before we were inside the dining room. I pulled the chair out for Emily to sit. She thanked me before I was sitting across her.

Emily glared at me as I was eating like I normally do. I don't give away that I was doing something naughty to her right now. She cleared her throat.

"Honey, would you please remove those things from my calves please?" She asked with venom in her voice but her eyes dilated and her breathing was hard. She was not immune to my charm as I would normally think.

"But I thought you love it," I said as I was sipping on my wine. I was looking at Emily as she was narrowing her eyes before I felt something was tugging at my toes. I jerked in my seat before Emily smirked at me.

"Something the matter, dear?" She said as she was batting her eyelashes at me. My lips thinned before I was clearing my throat as I was dabbing my mouth with a napkin.

I think it was due time for you to see the master bedroom. And of course, no other rooms are available for you, madame. You will be sleeping with me from now on," I said as the blood drained from Emily's face. She sighed before she was putting her napkin on the table.

"Let's get this over with, shall we?" She said as she stood up and I was guiding her to the second floor. I smirked. Oh, this will be far from over, sweetheart.
