Chapter 56：Epilogue: The Inheritance

I was looking at my husband as he was pacing back and forth in the office. He was nervous, I can tell as I was reading the book that I brought with me to kill the time. The lawyer was sure taking his time to get here.

"Will you calm down? It was nothing to worry about. I know that you think you're not ready but I know from the deep of my heart that you will be a great leader to this company," I said as I was closing the book as I put my bookmark inside the book. I will have to continue this reading later.

Jonathan looked at me before he was settling on the sofa next to me. His sister, Dana, was nowhere to be found as she said that she will not be there to hear the will. She knows her part already and she was happy to leave me alone with an anxious Jonathan.

"I know, I just can't. What if I was not good enough like my father or grandpa?" My husband said before I was caressing his well-toned thigh. Now I know why he had a very lean body. He runs a lot and his stamina in bed was awesome. I think I might run as well with him later.

"Okay, you need to get those thoughts out of your mind. I saw how you treat the kids. You are kind, passionate, not to mention charming. I think you can do this. And I know you can because you're the best when you're helping people, my love," I said as I was holding his hand now. Jonathan sighed before he was kissing my knuckles and my fingers, one by one. I was happy to know that he was paying attention to me but his caresses were making me wet and jumpy to get him to undress right now.

"Jonathan, love, I think you should stop before I jump on you," I warned him before Jonathan was looking at me. His eyes were orange now and I was breathing heavily.

"And if I don't?" He asked before I was biting my lower lips. He groaned as I was smirking at him.

"I think two can play at this game," I said and before Jonathan can fuck my mouth, the lawyer entered the office as Jonathan was standing up from the sofa, flustered like he did something wrong.

I chuckled at him before he was narrowing his eyes at me. I cleared my throat before I stood up beside him and gripped his arm before we were greeting the lawyer.

"Mr. Agnes, thank you for showing up," Jonathan said as he was shaking the old man's hand. He nodded at me.

"I'm sorry. I have to greet my son that just got back from his study abroad,'' he said as we were moving to the table now. Mr. Agnes set his briefcase on the table before he was pulling out some documents and set them in front of us.

"As agreed, you will get your inheritance once you married. Dana told me that she was the witness of the marriage certificate ceremony and I have received the marriage certificate copies as well," he stated before he was pulling another paper before Mr. Agnes was putting on his glasses to read.

"Shall we begin?" He asked as I was looking at Jonathan. He took a deep breath before he nodded.

"Yes, please proceed," he said as Mr. Agnes cleared his throat and started to read the will.

I, Ramsey Alepou, has bestowed Mr. Simon Agnes, as my lawyer and will reader for I have written this will myself. I was not under any alcoholic drinks or my life was being threatened. I am writing this under my own will and nothing can change my decision.

For my son, Jonathan 'Jay' Alepou, I have granted him my bank accounts in Cyprus and offshore when he was married and it has been proved to Mr. Simon Agnes, my trusted lawyer. If he does, he will be continuing the position of CEO for the Alepou's Trade Inc.

With the responsibility of being a married man, I know that my son will be a very responsible person and he will make the right decision with his wife by his side. Trust each other, my son, and you will be happy for the rest of my life.

As for my daughter in law, I have compensated a trust fund for you so that you will manage your household and I know that you will learn the difficulty of the household with ease. Mr. Agnes was looking at us as I was sniffing after he read the will. I don't know about Jonathan but I think he was happy as well as sad.

"Well, that's the end of it. I think we can proceed to the papers then?" Mr. Agnes said as I was looking at Jonathan. He blinked a few times before he sniffed.

"Yes, of course. Let's get this done with," he said as Mr. Agnes was showing the place that Jonathan needs to sign. I did have to sign as well as I was looking at the papers.

"I hope you will have a good and blessed marriage, sir. The company will be under your control complete but if you have some problem, please do not hesitate to reach out for me," Mr. Agnes said as he was shaking Jonathan's hand before my husband nodded at him.

"Thank you again for handling the stuff when I was irresponsible," Jonathan said before Mr. Agnes was smiling at him.

"Do not worry my boy. If you are in the same room with my boy, Silas, I think my son was more reckless than you would ever be," he said as he was chuckling. Then I intervened.

"If you don't mind I'm asking…" I said as Mr. Agnes was smiling at me.

"Yes, Mrs. Alepou?"

"What is your son doing oversea for his study? If you don't mind me asking of course," I said as I was blushing. I don't want to be like a woman that was busy with someone else's business or anything. Mr. Agnes smiled before he replied to my question.

"He was supposed to be a Ph.D. student at NYU but he got expelled for his behavior. So like I said, my son was much worse than you, Jonathan," Mr. Agnes said before he was leaving the room.

I looked at his retreating silhouette before Jonathan was pulling me into his arm. I can sense that his cock was eager to be inside me as it was poking at me right now. I glared at him.

"Now, where are we?" He asked before he was kissing my neck and I sighed.

"I think we have to get away from here if we wanted to get it on, if you know what I mean," I said as I was smirking at him. His eyes were orangey brown right now. I was laughing before he was pulling me out of the office.

"Well, let's not waste our time," he said as he was opening the door to lead me out of the building and went to our mansion to make love. We were barely out of the car before he was dragging me up the stairs to the bedroom. I laughed at his impatience.

"You know, I'm right here. We will be in the bedroom and strip naked and make love to each other in no time. No need to drag me everywhere," I said as Jonathan opened the door of the bedroom before he slammed my back to the door to close it and locked it. He smirked at me.

"Well, I love it when I can see you naked now, love,'' he said before he was kissing me and we were stripping naked before he was throwing me on the bed and I laughed. We made love until we can't move a muscle and I was fine with that.

I thought I would have to kill my best friend for being a fox shifter but I think killing will not be as sated and satisfied of having him in my arms. Besides, it time to move toward our future now and forget the past.
