Chapter 5：Escape

"At the end of this hall you'll go right. At the end of that hall is an elevator that will take you to the parking garage where your bike is. I will kill the cameras as soon as you enter." Chip says as I walk with ease. Several men dressed in black come running passed us and I step aside with a small smile.

They were his men. The man who called me "kitten" is the man I slept with when I had just gotten out of prison. I was free but I was pissed and I just wanted to let loose.. and that's exactly what I did. I got stupid drunk danced all night then bumped into him.

He was by far the best looking man I'd ever seen and he smelt good.. well to be honest he was an amazing kisser and I was in the mood. That night has forever etched itself in my head and unfortunately... my heart.

But I don't have time to have feelings.. feelings get messy and when I woke up the next morning I over heard him talking on the phone. He wasn't just a good looking guy.. good kisser.. good with everything in bed.. No, He was none other than the underworld gang leader!!! And I was naked in his bed!!

Needless to say.. I got dressed in record time.. minus my underwear. I hightailed it out of there like my ass was on fire and made sure to stay very, far away from the man. He was a dangerous man and had his hands in a little bit of everything. Their weren't many who didn't know of Alec and what he does... a lot of people end up dead or missing around him and I don't want to be one of them.

From what I know he's even killed a few of the scum bags I was after himself so it's all good. But seeing him face to face and knowing who he was... yeeeeah.

I press against the wall as his men rush pass. Once I get the clear I follow Chip's instructions and make my way to the underground parking lot. As I walk up to the elevator Chip says "My lady.." And the doors open without me having to stop.

Once in, I tuck my head but Chip says "Don't worry I already took care of all the cameras." I grunt and relax as I watch the numbers grow smaller and smaller. As the elevator comes to a stop and the doors open I make my way out.

As I'm walking to my bike, something feels off. "Chip.. why are my spidey sences going off?" I ask as I come to a stop to "Tie my shoe" Chip is quite for a moment before saying "SHIT! Someone messed with the original feed. That man you said you know is leaning against your bike."

"Chip! What the hell.. You're my wing man so shit like this doesn't happen... What are my options?" Chip quickly says "You have men coming down the elevator you just left and the other man is now heading in this direction." I grit my teeth and try to steel my nerves.

"Stop the elevator and don't allow them to call for help. I'll try and handle Alec..." I say as I stand up and walk over to the bike no longer trying to hide. "If you scratch her you'll have to pay to fix her.." I say in greeting and he does a double take.

He gives me a dark grin and says "No wonder my men and I couldn't find you... I can buy you as many as you want of these, kitten. Why are you running from me?" I chew on my lip as I try to think of my options. I wasn't leaving my bike.. I could buy another one but she was special... My first.

"I stopped the elevator and locked them in but they are climbing out the top... it's only a matter of time before his men get here." Chip says and I cringe. "Look.. this isn't the place to have a conversation like this.. can we reschedule this for another time?" I ask shifting from one foot to the other.
