Chapter 22：Games Part Three

I look into his dark eyes and it reminds me of the midnight sky. So dark... but it looked as if stars were dancing in them. This man was dangerous but one thing was clear... he didn't want to kill me. If anything he just wanted me in his bed...

I fight to control myself and my thoughts only to realize he's still watching me. "As I said, I'm busy. Can we... I don't know.. talk about whatever this is at another time?" He watches my lips making me nervous but he suddenly looks back to me and nods.

"Not normal... not normal." I keep telling myself as I push in the beast and Chip closes the door. How had he found me? It should have been Impossible... "Chip, are you sure no one was able to follow us or track us?"

"I'm positive Maya, I've gone over it twice since and I haven't found anything. As you've said... It's not normal.. he's not normal. When I sent out the shock from before... he should have gone down but it didn't look like it bothered him much..." Chip says as he goes through the information again.

I bite my swollen lips and think back to everything that's happened so far... he really isn't normal. I thought he was scary before... I sigh and head to the elevator. I place my hand on the wall and only after I hear the beep does it open.

"What have the police found?" I ask as we make our way in. "So far they have found all the kids and even some drugs... lots of money and a long list of people involved left by yours truly." I smile as I sit in front of the computers and watch as they all come to life.

"Looks like one of the men that were at the door is still alive... they are trying to get information out of him but things aren't looking good." I frown at what he says and after only thinking for a minute or so I bring up the conversation. Everything looked fine until they asked him who killed everyone...

The man could only shake his head... at least that's what the report says. I bite at my lips again and find myself thinking about Alec again. I shake my head and do my best to focus. "Chip, keep an eye on things and if he does survive the night... I'll have to make a trip to the hospital." Chip beeps and I bring up the information Chip got off the laptop in the room.

I slowly start going through the information and find myself growing in anger. Yes, it had information on the kids they had but there was more. There was a large money transfer and when I tracked it I was left speechless...

They were kidnapping children and killing them for parts... and selling them on the black market and to a few private buyers. This... I immediately begin hunting down each and every one of the "private" buyers and once I had each one I made a list. I was going to be very busy...

I look back to the main group and begin investigating. This was a lot larger than I originally thought... and way more advanced. I hack into the buildings database and into their cameras. My other screen comes to life and smaller boxes begin popping up.

I look at the screen and sneer... "Chip!" He beeps and says "What!? What's wrong?" I lean back letting everything sink in as I begin making plans. "I want you to finish this... I'm gonna go take a shower and then we leave immediately after." Chip beeps and I rush to the bathroom.

The blood on me was beginning to dry and become stiff so I needed to shower off. I normally don't do things so back to back but they have five surgeries planned for just tonight alone... I refuse to let them happen. Five children, they plan on killing... My smile turns dark as I think about how their business was going to take a wrong turn tonight. I won't let them take any more lives, not while I can do something about it.
