Chapter 78 - 78. Emergency

Tiara ordered two bodyguards she hired to help hold onto Elena. The two people each grabbed Elena's hand trying to hold Elena's hand so as not to protect her stomach. Get rid of the barrier for Tiara to kick straight into Elena's stomach.

But before they had time to move, the policemen managed to catch all of them in an instant.

The policemen came with Brian and Fredy. Half an hour ago Brian received a text from Elise notifying him of the place. Previously, Elise had panicked and came here alone. But just before she entered this old building, Elise stopped and called Brian. But the call wasn't picked up and Elise ended up leaving only a message about this place. Brian should have come here earlier, if he had known Elise had called him. However, because he is busy dealing with the police regarding the search for Elena, he does not know Elise's call. Luckily when he wanted to contact Rena, he read a text from Elise.

Brian runs towards Elena. His panicked face was visible when he saw the blood flowing down Elena's feet.

"Elena," Brian called softly. Holding Elena's body in his arms and staring at her pale face.

"B-rian." Elena's voice was low as a whisper. Brian's heart skipped a beat, looking at the look on Elena's face right now, it was as if he was also experiencing the pain. Elena's eyes were dim and weak. Making Brian even more panicked and shrouded in enormous fear.

"Hold on, please hold on." Brian quickly carried Elena in his arms. Brian doesn't care about the circumstances around him. He did not care about Tiara's fate, who had been detained by the police, and did not see the slightest look at Elise, who got up and was assisted by Fredy. All his focus and attention was only on Elena.

Seeing Elena's eyes that were getting sadder made Brian even more panicked.

"No, don't close your eyes. Stay aware Elena," Brian said in a panic and ran as fast as he could out of the old building, leaving Elise staring sadly at the man's back.

Elise knew that Elena's situation was more urgent and needed immediate treatment, but somehow there was a hurt in her heart. She realized it, Brian did not look at her for a second. Ever since that man entered this room, the man's eyes were only on Elena, making Elise's heart hurt. Somehow she felt, Elena was much more valuable than herself to Brian.

"Come on." Fredy's voice brought Elise up. The man guided Elise by carrying her to immediately go to the nearest hospital.

Diego was still unable to move in surprise. When he saw Elise and Fredy, he immediately approached them and asked for an explanation of what happened to Elena.

A few minutes later Brian, Diego and Fredy waited in front of the ER. Whereas Elise was being treated by nurses for treatment, the woman had quite a few cuts and bruises.

Brian had been walking up and down the corridor. Diego stood leaning against the wall with his eyes staring at the emergency room door continuously. The man was as worried as Brian. Meanwhile, Fredy, who was calmer, sat on the waiting bench. Not long ago, when the doctor did a brief examination of Elena's condition, the doctor said that she had to perform smallpox surgery and remove the baby immediately before the twins died. The thing that made the three men very anxious and worried was that Elena was eight months old.

Several minutes passed until an hour passed. And finally the door opened and a doctor came out. The doctor took off his mask and looked at the three of them with a guilty face.

The three men immediately approached the doctor and waited anxiously.

"How about it, Doc?" Brian asked, afraid to see the look on the doctor's face. Brian held his breath as the Doctor let out a heavy sigh. His body stiffened, worried about the bad news from the doctor.

Brian's heart stopped. The man seemed not to know how to breathe. It was as if the doctor had just said he had terminal brain cancer. Brian seemed to hear the grim reaper say if he would die at this time.
