Caleb groggily lurched up head racking with a rapturous force sweat beading down his head, wincing with an unsteady weight he stood up and looked at himself, he was shaking like a hypothermia addled patient.

'Focus Caleb it was just a dream'

Caleb's mind was a storm of thought trieying to piece together the dream , but as he tried pain jolted through him and like a piece of glass the pain cobwebbed through him and he gritted his teeth grinding them wincing as he felt like he was breaking under the rhapsody of pain but he suddenly felt a gushing cold wipe the pain away.

'Yes , yes we do,give me a moment'

Breathing in deeply he returned his thoughts to the dream with the numbing reassurance ofthe systems touch, he reached into his mind but there was nothing as if it was erased he knew he had a dream but what was it no images or recollections passed his mind and what remained was coloured like the voidblacker than pitch and the more he reached into the mire he wayed down by a pressure as if under the depths of the sea and as he continued to scower his mind the pressure bore deeper, unbearable pressure assailed him and he let go of trying to remember and he felt like a light dimmed to a dead grey and he couldn't tell why .

'What was i doing again'

Caleb felt a drop of blood trickle from his nose and wiped it

'system were we speaking'

Caleb unfocusing from the conversation and felt the cold trickle of water along his shoulders and stared up . cracks in the church roof leaked water which pitter-pattered into the ruin rhythmically, Caleb still staring up paced forward to a bigger opening and he looked up to the sky

it was a looming dark grey sky, the churning clouds laying down a bombarding torrent.

Caleb focused on how the rain hit the stone, its pitter-patter drowning his thoughts out but they kept in the front of his mind as if he lost something and he did not know what.

Caleb needed to focus on something... different, he snuck out of the church with the assistance of blue azure footprints none were the wiser to his exit.

As Caleb moved out of the church he felt his body get soaked and his clothing cling to him with a biting chill. Looking to the sky as it bombarded him he nodded to himself.

'Lets focus on something else'

'Well then let's go ' [ Good Hunting]

Darting forward Caleb weaved in the foliage, quickly returning to the singularness of hunting he indulged his five senses into the surrounding filtering out the gargle of noise.

Within this focus a noise made his face curl into a smile, With vicious quickness he scaled up the tree top and went to find his quary , he bounded from tree to tree ,branch to branch making the treetop into nothing more than stepping stones,As the world blurred around as he bounded around he saw the stark white in the murky brown and green in his vision.

Quickly snapping to white he stopped and the rushing gargle of noise fell still and everything went quiet.

Caleb pulled the knife from its sheath with a quite shinnnnnnnnnnnnk and it glinted ever so slightly glistening with the touch of rain, pantherlike he stalked down towards the small prey, the rabbit was matted with mud the rain cleaning it showing pearlescent white fur ,he closed but something alerted his prey as its head bobbed up ear up scanning .

[Even with the system you still failed ]

Caleb quickly prepared to pounce he focused waiting patiently to find out if another like-minded hunter had the same prey, waiting he saw red eyes glinting through dark foliage and Caleb smirked.

Without a sign barreling forth, aWolf launched itself from the dark underbrush with toothy maw ajar slathering at the morsel

Calebs eyes narrowed

Caleb tossed the dagger, it whistled cutting the air apart with its speed and without hesitation he barreled forward closing in, the knife speeding ahead but Caleb not too far behind, findingits mark it lodged inside the wolves open mouth and it gave out a distorted whimper lurching back butjust as the rabbit with sluggish movementswas about to run it was smashed to the floor by Caleb's hand brutally,facing the wolf with full force,he reached into its toothy maw still lurching he clutched the knife lodged into the mouth of the beast ,he dragged the knifewhich let outa discordant ripping and the distorted whimper turned to a dying gargle, taking hold of the gore-slick dagger with a final ripping noise he dislodged the dagger from its flesh sheath it glistened with a crimson lustre, Caleb stared at the rabbit and with an almost unnoticeable swipe the rabbits head was separated from its shoulders.

for the next few breaths time past like like oil on ice and letting out a deep breath, he felt empty and sluggish

The entire ordeal did not even last longer than a few breaths

Caleb breathed out a sigh and he felt his body seize up , he stood there the gore dripping out the dead and being washed away by the downpour soaking into the earth.

Caleb twitching his head up with great effort looked to the turmoil in the sky

Caleb just tuted and felt his body lax and the seizing sensation alleviated, WIthout pause he raised himself up from the dirty ground and put the wolf carcass over his back with the rabbit.

Caleb ventured back with haste through the canopies, he arrived at the familiar stone grey building he skulked forward and peered in , Everyone was slowly awakenings or awake, Caleb walked past John who still in his dreams and tabbed him on his shoulder

"What is it let me sleep"

John opened his shut eyes with lazy drawn-out movements looked up and opened his eyes to Caleb towering over his small stature

Startled John fell backwards and hit the ground with a thunk which raised everyone's alertness the rest of the group like dominos got up .

Caleb smirked and moved towards the firepit ignoring the zombies and stocked the fire which was just now crackling embers.

Caleb put some of the wood Rea collecting on and the embers were reborn into vigorous flame, deftly he skinned the rabbit and the wolf he clumsily made a mess of but the hides came of like socks and one grey tattered hide lay next to a pristine white hide.

After skinning his hunt he looked to the fire and tilted his head and looked into the depths of the crackling torrent.

the heat bathed him reassuringly in its warmth, he focused on how the embers cracked and the flicking of the flame and allowed it to drown out the biting cold.
