Chapter 35 - Restaurant (3){Finale}

Alex didn't want to participate in the second event so he didn't go up on stage. He tried to avoid looking at anyone so that they wouldn't find trouble for him. Of course, as a reincarnated person, the world wouldn't allow that as Kale came up to the table. He ignored Alex and went to Anna.

"Would you please dance with me?" Kale asked, extending his hand out to Anna, with a smile that mesmerized many girls around them. Anna and Alex, however saw his real goal. He just wanted to try to impress Anna and humiliate Alex.

The girls around them shot Anna some envious stares which made her uncomfortable. Alex, on the other hand, was sitting opposite from her with an indifferent look on his face. His aura made people think he was a prince and that they would be safe around him. Usually, people would get mad when such a situation would happen but Alex didn't feel many emotions right now. The system feature, Tranquility of Emotions, was the cause.

Even though he didn't feel many emotions, he was disgusted by Kale's actions. If he didn't know Anna, he wouldn't interfere but he became pretty good friends with her today. Alex stood up from his chair and walked up to Anna. He used his soul power to bring her hand to him and grabbed it. He changed the gravity light as a feather.

He left with her to the stage leaving Kale there alone. His mouth twitched while retracting his hand slowly. He left back to his table awkwardly. In his mind, he was cursing Alex.

Alex brought Anna to the stage and danced with her. He had the skill 'The art of Dance which made him an expert in the way of dancing. He guided Anna who was still in daze. Alex, on the other hand, smiled which increased his handsomeness exponentially. Every girl around started breathing heavy and blushing. Alex was just to handsome. They felt like wanted to ravage him and keep him for themselves. Even the girls who came with a guy felt this way. The males, seeing their women looking at another man, felt embarrassed and looked at Alex with envy and hate.

Many people wanted to join in but the spotlight was focused on Alex and Anna. The former started using his footwork to walk on air while the later just followed the flow. Anna also saw Alex's Handsomeness and blushed.

People were singing and some were playing instruments trying to match their dance.

This activity lasted for 30 minutes. Even so, people kept staring at Alex who returned to hi seat with Anna.

They regained their composure after the host came in to announce the next event, Intent Demonstration. This event was the one that Alex was most interested in. From Anna's explanation, people will have to draw something while inserting their intent into it. Even if the drawing was horrible, as long as their intent was high enough, people would be able to see what their intention was.

When it was done, they could seperated into different grades which were Minimum Intent, Refreshing Intent, Spirit Forming Intent, Life-like Intent and Materialized Intent. Legends have it that their exists higher levels but they aren't known to many. Alex tried it under the table and he received a system message.

Alex was happy and continued to practice it under the table. He looked over and saw many people painting. Unlike normal painting, sweat trickled down their foreheads. To focus intent and imprint it onto something requires a lot if mental energy.

Kale also went up. He took the brush and started painting. His painting consisted of 2 people, a man and a women, with a river separating them. The grass was blowing against the grass and there was a hand coming from the sky which was building a bridge so they could meet. It was a pity as even if the painting was well made, the intent had a small amount of l.u.s.t. As a human, most people felt attracted to the opposite gender so it might leak out a little. Sadly, Kale's painting had l.u.s.t focused onto the women. Even worse, that girl looked exactly like Anna.

'There is definitely something wrong with this guy' Alex thought. After Alex thought Kale was done, what happened next left him dumbfounded. Kale added a man on the girl's side. He looked like Alex and the intent around him was killing intent. Alex shook his head. He then looked at other paintings representing towns, people and even landscapes.

He started to examine the finished ones with his 'Identify' Skill. They were all between Minimum Intent and Refreshing Intent. Alex told Celestine to note down that he had to research the subject one day.

Alex was still using his 'Intent Mastery' Skill under the table. Thirty minutes past and most people were done. Kale was done and he stood proudly in front of his painting. He looked at Alex who hasn't gone up. He thought that Alex was not good at it so he thought up of an idea to take revenge on him.

"Alex, why haven't you come up yet? Could it be that you aren't good at it? Who could have guessed that a talented man like you can't even do something easy like this!" Kale intentionally raised his voice at Alex.

Today, many people were surprised at Alex's power. So far, no matter what he did, he would be like an expert.

Alex felt everyone stare at him and sighed. Couldn't he just watch in peace? Alex stood up with his hands behind his back. He looked at Kale and smirked.

'You think that I wasn't ready for your trick?'

All this time, Alex was practicing his 'Intent Mastery' skill and the result he got was...

So not only was his mastery level high, the speed he could do it in was reduced tremendously. He walked up to an empty canvas and took a brush. Mental Energy wasn't a problem for Alex as he had a high intelligence attribute.

He painted the scene of him and Yui on the mountain the day he told her that he was leaving. The picture was a 3rd person view from the back. He made it extremely detailed as he could remember everything he saw. He also added the sword he have Yui that day. The sword he drew had massive amounts of Sword Intent. Love, Longing and Happiness surrounded the characters of Alex an Yui in the painting. The intent was flowing out of his body and imprinting itself on the painting. The sky was made so that it felt boundless and shrouded in mystery. He ground showed Life and Death, Happiness and Sadness. When Alex finished the painting he sighed, he would love to go back to that time and stay there.

'I have to find my parents faster!'Alex thought. He sat next to his painting and drank some tea calmly while remembering the past.

Everyone looked at Alex's painting and felt all sorts of emotions. The detail was spectacular. They suddenly saw a light shine out of the painting, they felt as though they had been absorbed into the painting. Looking around they saw the wind blowing against the glass, they also felt it blow against their faces. The people in the town were moving. It was so realistic that they felt as if it was truly real life. The judges also felt this and they all stood up in amazement.

"No Way! This is a painting with Life-like Intent!"

Everyone heard this and couldn't hide their astonishment. Suddenly a women with plants covering her body appeared. People were mesmerized by her beauty. This women was the painting's spirit.

She ignored everyone and went directly to Alex and kneeled in front of him. As Alex was the creator of this painting, he was like a God to her.

"Send us out." Alex waved his hand and everyone's surrounding returned to normal.

Everyone looked at Alex like he was a monster. Not only were his fighting skill incredible, his dance was perfect but now his intent Demonstration skills were off the charts. They knew it was Alex's first time because they heard Alex asking Anna about it. They boy in front of them was an absolute prodigy.

Kale, however, was gnashing his teeth as his anger rose. He tried to humiliate Alex but he increased his reputation instead.

The event continued as normal. After 30 minutes, they announced the winners. Of course, Alex got first place.

After leaving the building. He escorted Anna back home and said his goodbyes. Once he returned to the hotel, he checked on Lucas and Freya who were still under the effect of his magic. He then laid on the sofa and fell asleep. He told Celestine to send him to his dreamland training ground.
