How many times have I woke up looking at the ceiling so far? Baron's soft snores filled the room. After yesterday's event I've been feeling quite unaccomplished.
My crew are still behind bars. Despite being treated well, I can't ignore that fact. I sighed.
The corset restricted me from moving a lot. My rib cage felt as if it was going to crack any second now. God bless the women of the old times. I wish I had my phone. In my previous world I usually spent my mornings eating and reading the new updated manhuas. What I would do to eat bacon and eggs right now.
The smell of food suddenly filled my nose. That reminds me. When was the last time I ate? My stomach growled in response. I swung my legs over the bed and walked out of the door barefoot and only in my corset. I yawned. My feet were taking me in the direction of the smell. I stopped in front of a silver door. I tilted my head.
I've passed this door multiple times yet why was this the first time that I've noticed it? I then turned the knob and entered. Men were singing as pans sat atop old stoves. Their eyes widened as they saw me enter. I looked around it seemed to be a kitchen.
I ignored them cooks' stares and walked towards the food. They were placing thin slices of some sort of meat on a grill. My eyes rested on the shrimp and lobster on the counter. I smiled.
I rolled up the sleeves of my corset/dress thing and took a knife from one of the dumbstruck chefs. Fruits and vegetables were placed in barrels near the stoves. I whistled. I can have fun cooking here. The men watched me in awe as I cut the vegetables and cleaned the seafood. Seconds later the garlic smell of shrimp scampi and lobster filled the air. I looked at the men as they looked at me like I was some sort of Goddess.
It seems like my obsession with cooking shows is going to finally pay off. I then placed my food on plates and slid two plates over to the cooks. They looked at me and I nodded. The older one who seemed to be the head chef tasted my dish. He continued to eat excitingly. It seems like he enjoyed it. The other cooks joined in. I took two plates of shrimp and lobster with me and walked towards the cells.
I knocked on the iron bars. My crew's faces quickly came up to the bars. I chuckled. They were all cute.
"What is this Miss Mila?"
I looked at Lucious. He was quite the inquisitive individual. I smiled and answered.
"Shrimp and lobster enjoy your breakfast."
My crew smiled as I slid the two plates under a small opening. I heard their content sounds as they ate. They thanked me.
"There is one thing I just ask my dear crew."
The members stopped eating and looked at me awaiting my request.
"If there is a bounty out for Baron how would we turn him in?"
Lucious finished chewing then answered.
I sighed. Who knows when's the next time we might come across land.
"Miss Mila did you it mission succeed yesterday?"
I looked away and scratched my head.
"Zarfia let's just say that it was a disaster."
The crew saddened. I waved my hands.
"But it wasn't that bad of a failure! I swear that I'll get you guys out of there soon!"
"We aren't worried about it ourselves Miss Mila but about you."
Oh look at Clark being a sweetheart.
"Don't worry everyone, I have a plan."
