I yawned as I sat around the round table in front of the other captains, Baron, Weston, and Francois. The looked at me with concern. I mean I don't blame them for the last ten minutes I've been pleading with crew members to knock me out so that I could sleep.
"Ma Chere Mila, are you okay?"
I turned and smiled at him.
"I'm completely ca va Francois. I haven't slept for 24 hours so I think that the fact that I'm still talking is good."
Francois sighed. I turned and splashed cold water on my face from the barrel that Daniella brought me earlier. I'm sure as hell that I looked like some sort of monster.
"I don't think you're okay, you look like some monster with your eyes like that."
I smiled at Weston.
"Thank you for your unnecessary piece of information asshole."
Weston smiled sweetly back and flipped me off as he said.
"You're welcome bitch."
I flipped him back and answered.
"Don't sound so constipated dear. It's bad for beauty."
Weston's right eye twitched before he chuckled and slammed the table with a smile.
"I don't think that someone who looks like something from Davey John's locker has any right to give me beauty advice."
I chuckled as I took out a dagger and struck it in the table next to where Weston slammed his hand.
"Oh I'm so sorry my dear Weston, I wasn't considerate of your intellectual struggles. I didn't mean your facial beauty but that of your limp stick between your legs."
Weston roared before pulling me by the collar of my blouse.
"You bitch!"
Frankly while I'm tired I act very close to a drunk person. In my previous life I once stayed up a whole night for my midterms. What happens the next day still haunts me. Five of my friends had scratches on their faces, two people had slapped cheeks and my teacher had a "fuck you" written on the bottom of my test sheet. The next day I apologized and was forgiven. But right now I'm not in the 21st century with my friends. I was dealing with pirates who actually kill people. I better stop or else shit was going to get ugly.
Baron stood up and pushed the two of us down on our barrels.
"The both of you shut up! We have a big issue yet one of you is acting like a drunkard and the other a bastard. Stop being childish and act your ages!"
I lowered my head as Weston did the same. I pouted as I looked at Baron.
"He started it first."
I pulled in Baron's sleeve.
"Please avenge me."
Baron glared at me as he pulled his arm away.
"What the hell is wrong with you Mila? First you ask me to knock you out in the morning and now you are asking me to avenge you over something so trivial? Get your shit together! And you Weston. Stop being a bastard to Mila all the time."
Weston and I replied with a meek.
"Aye, aye captain."
"Baron I've heard from my navigator that we have seemed to have lost our way."
Baron nodded as he replied to Francois.
"My navigator said the same thing. He had stated that sometime during the middle of the night a large fog covered the sky and the ship making him lose his sight of the direction where we were headed. Half an hour later the fog cleared but the compass was reading that we were heading South instead of East."
I looked down at the map drawn by Francois. I chuckled. The map failed to show the U.S and had a large space for that area instead. I was deliberating whether I should tell them about the U.S but I thought better of it. Nothing ever comes good out f trying to change the past. I still want to go back to my old world anyways. Technically the fact that we were heading south instead of east wasn't that much of a problem. Frankly we just have to turn east as we get closer to the Bermuda Triangle.
"I don't think that we are entirely lost at sea. We just have to be careful of where we are going now. If we can find a way to track out way than we can still make it to the Bermuda-Ack!"
The three captains looked at me in concern as I fell into a fit of coughing. I looked down at the map with shock as my heart beat quickened. On the Bermuda Triangle circle was a spot of crimson. I took away my hands from my mouth. Red covered them.
Blood. I was actually coughing blood.
I looked at my concerned comrades as I felt the scene in front of me blur. The last thing I heard before blacking out were the cries of the three captains in front of me.
