79 Rain after the Drough

I slammed open the door of Johannes's room. He smiled as I stepped out and walked towards him.

"The dress looks quite elegant on y-oomph!"

Johannes held his gust as I retracted my fist. The dress that he had given me had quite the plunging cleavage. There was no difference between wearing it or having my bandaged breasts swimming in the open. And to top that all off there was some sort of red stain in the "no square" area. I sighed as I rubbed my face. For now I will deal with this. I looked over to see Baron blushing as he looked at the dress.

I chuckled nervously. How terrifying. I then turned to Johannes.

"Give me your dagger."

Johannes stared at me with fear. He then slowly knelt down and smacked his forehead to the ground.

"Please don't kill me. I'll get a maid to bring you a proper dress."

I chuckled. I didn't want to kill the man yet. I just wanted to cut the dress shorter. I was literally tripping all over the place from its length. My short stature turns out to be quite a pain during this time. I leaned in and said.

"Cut your shit and hand me a dagger or else I'll actually kill you with a sword."

Johannes whispered as he shaking my gave me the dagger. He then closed his eyes and said.

"Please be gentle."

I smacked the top of his head as he pouted. I then bowed over slightly and tore the hem of the dress till it reached my knees. I then walked with it. Perfect. No tripping. The dress's design was simple enough with its casual embroidered bodice and puffy sleeves. It was a tan color. It truly matched the dress of a woman pirate. I smiled. Once I get to my own ship I'll use the bodice and sleeves as a shirt and wear slacks under this. Quite the classic pirate costume if I may add.

I stroked my chin. I left my world at around August. It's been almost two months ago. I wonder if it's almost Halloween. Memories of my friends and I going to house parties filled my mind. I sighed and shook my head. Now is not the time to think about this. We have to go to the deck right now.

My feet still burned from the lashings as I walked by Baron to go up the staircase. Johannes followed closely behind. Today the two of them were wearing loose blouses, and slacks. Their coats draped over their shoulders. To be honest the two of them looked perfect next to each other.

I covered my nose as it bled. I waved away my naughty BL thoughts as I walked up the stairs to the deck. I then pushed open the door at the top of the stairs.

On the deck of my ship, the crew members were studiously working while Francois and Weston crowded around a map. I smiled. Those two idiots were actually being productive. I leaned in to hear their conversation. They were probably discussing the plan for any possible places that we could dock before going to the Bermuda Triangle.

"No Francois! How could you be such an idiot!"

"How am I stupide Weston? You're the one that said that this place would be perfect!"

"No, not that place! The one next to it! I heard this from a friend of mine back home in Ridgeway."

"How good is it?"

"Believe me. The women there are known to be the best."

Weston and Francois cried out as I threw my buckled flats on the top of their heads.

Fucking dumbasses! I actually thought that they were discussing something important but they were talking about women! When I get off this ship I'll show them what a "good time" with a woman looks like.

I cackled as I cracked my knuckles. Johannes and Baron backed away as they watched the evil surround me. On the deck there was also a talkative Jacia slapping Josh's ass. My eyes widened. Well that ship sailed faster than ours is.

I'm kidding.

I'll leave now.

Baron walked up to the railing next to me. The rain drenching is as we looked at the area where the sky met the ocean. I closed my eyes as Baron did. Just simply standing next to Baron now wasn't as stifling as it was before.

For some reason I've grown accustomed to his presence. Baron has become a sort of calm rain to me. And lately I've been afraid of not having rain. I wonder if he still thinks favorably of me. We've had quite the misunderstandings after all. I sighed.

I never knew until that moment how truly calming the rain could be. I wish that it wouldn't stop. I felt my worries wash away along with the land which was rained on.

How calming indeed.
