Chapter 255 - What Was Happening With Me!?

I was packing up my bag as the final bell rang and everyone was leaving the class. My eyes were staring towards the whiteboard as I was trying to comprehend what happened to me in the past one hour.

After acting like that a few days ago, Shiraishi suddenly showed up with a huge smile on her face and acted as if everything was fine. Then she made me skip my physics class only to kiss me and apologise for the way she acted.

I was so confused that I couldn't distinguish whether or not my plan failed.

Even though I wasn't paying attention to her apology since someone ended up observing the entire scenario of Shiraishi kissing me on the goddamn staircase.

And the fact that I had no idea who that person was and why he smiled like that was making me more curious and agitated about this whole ordeal.

He smiled as if he was looking down on someone inferior and it was pissing me off.

Taking my bag, I walked out of the class. Tsūmen already left before me and Gaisen was at the playground with his teammates. After what happened, I wasn't in the mood to walk back home with Shiraishi.

So I ended up choosing the old school method. Walking alone.

I was just about to walk out the gate when I noticed Seryoku walking in front of me. He seemed to be alone. Slowing my pace, I decided to let him go ahead of me so that I wouldn't have to interact with him.

But for some reason he turned around and noticed me. He waved at me as I had no other choice than to just walk with him. Waving my arm at him, I walked towards him.

Why can't I have a little peace in my life?

"Ah man, tomorrow is the result. I'm a bit nervous." He started up the conversation as soon as I reached him and I asked, "How was your exam?"

"I mean... according to me, it was good. But then again my good ends up as a bare minimum on the marks." He laughed but I remained silent. He looked at me and asked, "By the way, you aren't going to walk home with Yukimura or Seifuku?"

"Ahh… Gaisen wanted to play football and Tsūmen went home early since he had something to do."

"Damn… what about your girlfriend?" He asked out of the blue and as soon those words left his mouth, I was caught off guard. With a frown on my face, I asked, "What?"

"Your girlfriend." He sounded a bit confused as he asked again, "You've one, right?"

"I do… did Tsūmen tell you?"

I was surprised since I don't remember telling him about me having a girlfriend. Not that it was weird, I was just shocked at his face since there was no way he could've known about Shiraishi.

"Oh, nah… I saw you kissing her today." He replied with a smug smile on his face as I nodded, "I see."

So it was him.

At that moment, a lot of questions were rising in my head. What was he doing there? And if he was indeed passing by then why did he stop and watch the entire scene unfold in front of his eyes?

And what was with that cocky smile at the end?

"I wasn't expecting you to be that bold." He punched my shoulder playfully and added in a loud voice, "Damn boy!"

He seemed quite excited at the fact that I kissed my girlfriend. He was probably more surprised at the fact that I have a girlfriend in the first place since I don't look like someone who would date anyone.

"I wasn't expecting her to kiss me all of a sudden." I replied in a plain tone but he didn't even bother listening to me as he continued, "I saw you and I was like, is that his girlfriend? Is he kissing random girls? Is he a douchebag?"

"Yeah… okay. Stop." I said after listening to him a while as he laughed awkwardly realising how dumb it was and said with an embarrassed tone, "Yeah, my bad."

This guy was attractive as long as he didn't open his mouth.

"Have you taken things to the next level with her yet?" He asked, giving me a side glance, to which I replied, "Wha… No dude."

"I see… you seem to be a novice in this field." He said, patting my shoulder while chuckling. I gave him a bored look and asked, "Well… look at me. What else do you expect?"

"Ayo come on, I have seen worse dudes doing the nasty with their girls." He instantly replied with much certainty in his voice. Maybe he was trying to cheer me up, but he definitely did it in the worst way possible.

"I don't know what I should think about that…"

"Yeah… that was really unnecessary of me." He laughed awkwardly and looked away from me in embarrassment. I found it rather funny even though my face was straight as ever.

"Nevermind… So how long have you been dating her?" He asked, trying to change the topic into a more sensible one as I decided to play along and replied, "Probably a month, I think."

"Damn you slick. Only a month in and you're already kissing her?" He laughed, as he wasn't particularly wrong.

I wonder what he'll say if he knew about the fact that she kissed me on the first day we met. Or about the fact that she marked me while we're in school. Or about that fact she tried to have sex with me already.

"Well if you put it like that… then kinda." I laughed awkwardly considering all those scenes in mind as he seemed pretty interested about this whole ordeal.

The rest of the walk continued with Seryoku talking non stop while I was trying my best to control the urge to just put a tape on his mouth and tie him to an electric pole.

That day just kept becoming a pain for me.
