Yesterday I talked with Senpai and it turned out that she was indeed faking her leg injury. Also, a good thing happened that I made a new friend named Aoi. Even though I kind of used her against Naoto, keeping that fact aside, Aoi is really cute and I enjoyed playing with her.
Though going over the events of the last day, I think I went overboard. I made her cry, which I wasn't expecting at all since she didn't look like the kind of girl who would shed tears. I guess Yuna was correct about her being a softie from inside.
Though my whole point was to confront her, judging by her reaction I was indeed able to break her, but the thing was that I didn't know if it was for the better or worse since I might've gone a little too harsh on her.
Albeit all that, she didn't for once told me what her reasoning was for pulling such a stupid stunt. Assuming only I knew about that injury being fake, I think she would keep her act in front of others for the time being.
For some reason, she was desperate enough to pull a stunt of this level that meant there was more than what met the eyes. From outside, it looked like her own selfish desires were driving her, but there was something more to it.
A person with a thinking process like her will never do such impulsive things. There was something she despised. Something she despised enough that her feelings of hatred were overwhelming her.
As I was sitting quietly since our chemistry period was just over, and it was lunchtime. Everyone was moving out of their places and were either leaving the class or were talking with their friends.
The noise of chatter and the aroma radiating from the lunches were surrounding me. As usual, I was of course heading over to the cafeteria to buy my favourite chocy milk. I can live without a girlfriend but not without chocy milk. The only thing I'm truly committed to.
As I was about to leave the classroom, I noticed Vivian charging towards my class with a hint of irritation on his face. Though it always appeared as if he was irritated, this time it seemed much more serious.
I had a gut feeling that he was coming over to talk with me because of what I did last day. He entered the classroom and slanted eyes searched all over the class as he said, "Is Sakamaki in the class?"
His heavy voice and rough tone obviously attracted a lot of eyes towards him. His vibes were enough to tell me that he surely wasn't here to just 'talk' with me. There was a bit of silence in the class as some of the students awkwardly stared at him.
I glanced over at Tsūmen as well as Kizhashi, as both of them were staring at me with a confused look. Well, by their looks I could tell that both of them had a subtle idea what was going on.
Looking at Vivian, Tsūmen was actually getting up from his seat, prepared to jump in the middle if things went south. Of course, he did not know that I could fight since he had never seen me, nor was it something you ask a person about.
I just gave him a slight nod with narrowed eyes, which was basically saying, "It's alright, I got this." He wasn't fully convinced as he was still a bit agitated.
"What happened?" I said in a loud tone so that he could hear me. His dark eyes shifted towards me, as he power walked towards me while folding his sleeves.
The class again went back to its previous state. Vivian approached me and gave me a sharp look as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders and put a little bit of pressure, which clearly showed that I should follow him.
Without saying a word, both of us left the class. I don't know where he was taking me, but the entire walk, none of us spoke a single word. We finally arrived at the place, which was basically the back side of the annex.
Turning back with a fierce look in his eyes, he exerted quite the intimidation as he said, "So… I think… Who do you think you are?"
"Sakamaki." I answered in a plain tone, as he clenched his jaws and replied with in a cold tone, "See, I'm not in a mood for you silly jokes"
Hearing his tone, I could tell that he was really ticking off and anything I say would basically do that, so I looked him in the eyes and said, "Ok then, get to the point."
He raised his eyebrows in frustration and, gritting his teeth, he said, "Huh!? What were you thinking?"
"Hmm?" I gave him a questioning nod, despite being well aware of what he was talking about.
Clicking his tongue, he said, "When you said all that crap to Naoto? What were you thinking!?"
Under his heavy breath, he muttered, "You made her cry… and…"
I remained silent, as no matter what I said would get me a punch on my face. Though I didn't remove my eyes from him because that would basically be equivalent to giving him the authority over this situation.
The moment of silence between us broke as he paced towards and with his right arm he grabbed my collar and pulled me towards him and he said in a loud tone, "Answer me!!"
I don't understand why he even cares in the first place. She ain't his girlfriend anymore. Going to this extent just for a friend didn't make any sense to me.
In the face of aggression, remaining calm is the key to seize the other person. I casually replied, "There's no point in this conversation, Senpai."
Not satisfied by my answer, his grip tightened on my collar as he spouted, "What the hell did you tell her?"
"Whatever I said is a…" I couldn't even finish my sentence as I found myself against the wall with blood dripping from my nose.
