Chapter 178: Invitations from Alverton Firmament

"New creatures and new mini bosses? Great."

Lucas nodded his head after seeing the system notifications.

"Green axe, you can enter your room now."

Since the orc lord is accepted as the main boss of the dungeon, obviously he would have his own room.

Soon, Lucas sent the orc lord and gave some orders to the dungeon spirit Freda before leaving the dungeon.

"Young master, you finally came out of the dungeon."

The moment he exited the dungeon, Lucas heard Beck who seemed to be waiting for him for a while.

"Beck"

Lucas called her in an affectionate tone and asked, "You seemed worried. Is something the matter?"

As the second closest person in this world, Lucas already considered Beck as his family and whatever problem she was having, he would try his best to help her.

Just from a glance, Lucas could tell that something was bothering Beck. So, he asked about it.

"Young master, an hour ago, these things flew into my hands."

Beck showed three golden coloured scrolls in Beck's hands and curiously picked one of them to read the contents inside it.

'Hello, Miss Beck,

We, the Institution for Beastmasters, got to know that you have a Sovereign grade talent in the Beast taming. So, we gladly invite you to join our institution, so that we can guide you and give you all kinds of resources a Beast tamer requires.

We are also sending a couple of Instructors from our institution to your place. Please think about it as a genius without a good backing will be assassinated by the other institutions or guilds or royal family.'

"What the….how dare they threaten to join their institution?"

After reading the contents in the first scroll, Lucas could not help but curse that 'Institution for Beast masters'.

Lucas felt the beginning was good; however, at the end of the scroll, it was blatant threatening which indirectly meant that they would kill her if she joins any other force other than their institution.

"What about the other two scrolls? Are they the same?"

Lucas didn't bother to read the other two scrolls and asked Beck.

"The red-bordered scroll was from the Alverton Magic Institution and the purple bordered scroll was from the royal family of the Alverton firmament."

Beck replied with a bitter smile on his face as she continued, "They ended their invitation with the same words as that of the 'Institution for Beast masters'."

"Damn it…they are not even hiding their intent while recruiting a talented student?"

Lucas could sense how overbearing the institutions and the Alverton's royal family were from their invitations for Beck.

"How the hell did they find out about your talent?"

As his subordinate, how could Lucas not know about her Sovereign grade talent in the beast taming?

However, what he didn't understand was how could the two institutions and the royal family from the Alverton know about this?

'Sigh'

Lucas and Beck were unable to find or even guess how those from the Alverton firmament could find out about Beck's talent.

"So, what are you going to do?"

Lucas calmed down as he knew it was useless to stress over something that they were unable to find and asked Beck about her decision.

"I just want to stay beside the young master and protect him; however, if I didn't stay here without joining…."

"No need to say anything else. Let's see how they are going to take the closest person to me away from me."

Before Beck could finish his words, Lucas interrupted her and seriously replied to her.

Even though joining an institution or a royal family will provide a lot of resources to increase one's strength in the shortest time, it had a downside and it was to become their dog and do whatever they ask you to do.

Lucas didn't want Beck to do that as he was confident that he and Beck could grow unconditionally with the help of the systems in their heads.

"Young master."

Beck felt her heart warm when she heard Lucas' words.

Even though she looked cold and strong on the surface, she was still a young lass at heart.

When she heard those words from the person she loved, she was over the moon.

'I have to become stronger.'

Beck's determination to grow stronger intensified after today as she hurriedly left from that place to resume her training.

'Even though she got only three invitations, I wonder what others are planning. No matter what they were planning, with me standing between them and Beck, let's see how they are going to take her away from this town.'

A sovereign grade talent in any profession is very rare to find even in the higher firmaments. So, of course, the two institutions and the royal family of the Alverton firmament didn't want to lose it.

However, how could Lucas let that happen?

Lucas was looking forward to the representatives from those who sent invitations to Beck.

'Looks like I will cancel my plans to go out to hunt in the 'Myriad primordial forest' for the next few days as I don't know what these so-called representatives were capable of.'

After learning that they found out about Beck's talent, Lucas didn't want to be careless and leave the Silverstone town because, without him, the town was only one barrier away from destruction.

"I will just clear the dungeon and look for the special training program until they arrive."

With that thought in his mind, Lucas casually took a stroll in Silverstone town.

'Roar'

Lucas heard a roar from the distance which belonged to the baby white tiger that was receiving the training from his mother.

'Swoosh'

Seeing Lucas, the baby white tiger didn't bother about the training and rushed towards him.

'Sigh…you always want a reason to escape your training.'

Lucas shook his head looking at the baby white tiger and shouted, "Blackie, Phantom, come out and take a stroll with me."

'Roar'

'Screech'

Lucas gave equal justice to all the spirit beasts and took a casual stroll with them while playing with them along the way.

'Huh? Why is he here?'

All of a sudden, Lucas saw someone outside the barrier and raised his brows.
