If the droid army could panic they would be right now. Without a proper commander in both the Tambor and the tactical droid TA-175 and enemies appearing all over there formations. Friendly fire was becoming a common theme within the droid army to this point.
Most Spartan Mandalorians adopted the same approach as Diesel, completely brute forcing their way through the droid army. Especially those who wore Beskar armor. With the combination of Beskar and Shielding technology at the Mandalorians fingertips they became practically invincible to any blaster fire unless they were completely overwhelmed. However, at this moment that was literally impossible with what was happening.
Diesel was using this armor to destroy tanks and walkers without a problem while stream rolling any and all droids in between him and the next tank. While also being escorted by Rayath and a couple other Valkyries outfitted in a much lighter version of an Mandalorian outfit. Colored in pitch Dark Red lining with deep blue stripes flowing down the arms. The suit covered most of her vitals basically alloying her to move at high-speed leaving there joints exposed. However, with the force they could easily deflect anything that was to be shot in their direction because of the limited amount of vulnerabilities they had. Most of the Valkyries wore Mask rather than full helmets however they carried the standard T in the middle of them. If one didn't know better their outfits could easily be mistaken as a Sith one. Today, the Valkyries were going to make their very first public appearance to the Republic and most Separatist.
Nothing was able to stand in between the Spartans and victory at this point. Their push finally entered the city where Diesel destroyed the last remaining tank he sat down. With his escorting Valkyries surrounding the tank. He turned towards the upper platform where his Ghost would be basically showing the world there was nothing they could do to stop him and his growing power.
P.O.V. Swap Ri'lah
"How is the intel gathering going? Everything must be stolen and revealed to the public. This is our chance to show everyone." Ri'lah stood confidently upon Leviathan, the mothership of Diesel's fleet. Scanning the logs of Tambor he could see the fallback plans he made if he were to ever lose the world. For example, him bombing nearby villages. The plans were countless and would soon be seen by the public. Instead of being feared by the populace they would be heroes.
*Short timeskip*
The Resistance fighters didn't even have a chance to make it to the battlefield before the Spartan made it deep within the city. Cham Syndulla the leader of the Resistance fighters walked up to Diesel who sat upon the destroyed tank giving him a respective bow before speaking. "I thank you on behalf of the people of Ryloth. I don't know how we could ever repay you. The amount of lives you saved and protected is something no other faction could possibly do. May I know how many men the Spartans lost for retaking out planet." There was a long silence from Diesel who never turned towards Cham Syndulla, this caused him to think he offended the man originally. However, he finally turned and spoke.
"One." The answer was extremely short and cold. But the number was absolutely insane, how could they score a flawless victory like this and only lose one person. A newfound respect was given to these Spartans. However, he could tell in the tone of Diesel's voice he was unhappy. Why? They only lost one person. Did they expect a perfect victory? Cham saw this as an opportunity for his people if he could show favor towards the Mandalorians; maybe they would help protect them from both the Republic and Separatist. No more occupation needed.
"I'm extremely saddened by the loss of a valuable member to your Clan. If you enlighten me on the details of this man. I'll make sure he receives a statue in Lessu to honor his death for the defense of our homeland. It's the least we can do for people who are asking nothing in return." These words caused many nearby Mandalorians to halt and turn towards Cham.. Honor after death is what every Mandalorian wishes and Diesel has been the first to deliver this true honor to them.
