Rex troops were allowed to retreat at the cost of Riptide's life. The very first official lost to the 300th Battalion. His loss would end up saving many of their brothers in the future. The clones looked back at the now destroyed factory honoring him. The moment of silence last only for a moment until the Jedi spoke without a care in the world.
"Good job we destroyed the factory. This will make our lives much easier."
The clones all turned and looked at the Jedi for disrespecting the loss of Riptide. Of course they were taught that casualties were bound to happen. They were still taught that every life mattered. Every loss of life should be honored and treated as an equal. The years the 300th spent together in hardship brought the clones extremely close together.
Every moment of the training they spent together, working towards the same goal beating there Instructor Dom. Each one of these clones were comparable if not superior to an ARC trooper. Rex could only mourn the loss of his good friend. The plain disrespect that the Jedi showed angered the clones and the Jedi could sense the atmosphere turn with the force.
"Is something the matter?" Both Jedi would turn towards Captain Rex with expressions of worry. Kenobi would take the imitative to try and start a conversation with Rex. Captain Rex could only grit his teeth.
"Nothing."
Across the ongoing battlefield the contempt the Jedi were seeing was growing, The casualties of the clone under the command of a Jedi far exceeded those of the one under the Mandalorians. This was becoming painfully obvious to everyone on the battlefield. Droids, actually began focusing on areas where the Jedi were at rather than the areas of Diesel forces. The combined forces of Spartans, Mandalorians, and the Naboo, were two hard for the droids to penetrate. They found it much easier to heavily focus fire on the Jedi's.
The clones would watch as the Mandalorian forces would constantly be giving commands and changing to the situations. They were always adapting on the fly. The ODJTs were on another level compared to the Naboo and standard Mandalorians. They would be dropped in pods from space in the middle of large groups of enemies. This would slow the push of the droids. Many of those ODJTs would die under the heavy fire of the droids, but those would live fought bravely and eventually would make way to safety before engaging the enemy again.
If it wasn't for them the amount of casualties the clones would receive would be incredibly higher. The three Spartan's on the other hand there were no words that could be used to describe the thoughts going on in the clones' heads. Strong.
--Count Dooku--
"These Spartans are going to be much more of a problem then we originally thought. We cannot treat them as normal infantry. I'll have to be prepared to face them next time."
Although, the plan to begin the war with the Republic has finally happened and he was happy about it. The actual outcome was deemed a failure, the droids were being slaughtered. The clones weren't in full suicide push mode. like they thought the Jedi would end up doing. The Mandalorians were a huge factor in this battle. Skill, tactics, and leadership were just way superior to the Jedi. Dooku only wondered what he would have to do to counter such individuals. Maybe start simple and create droids to combat them.
If there was a single Spartan, there wouldn't be a need for major concern. But three that's a different story. What happens if there is still more out there. Dooku had to have countermeasures. He just wasn't sure what could compete with the strength and speed on them. For now it was time to escape. Plans have already gone wrong, no need to risk anything. If it was just the Jedi he wouldn't have any problems.
