Chapter 77 - Void Theory

P.O.V. Rayath

Slowly waking from her over use of the force. Rayath used the force to scan her surroundings, before realizing she was cuffed and locked in a small room. Expanding her vision she started searching beyond the walls and learned she had four people watching over her only exit. The further her vision reached the more people she realized that were around. She could feel the sheer number of people watching over her. She counted fourteen people. Four at the door, another four at the end of the hallway and ten scattered around in various nooks.

She quickly realized she was no longer being held captive by the Black Suns. She decided to use caution and expand her search beyond the reaches of the ship. The amount of people and sh.i.p.s in the nearby area were astounding. The deeper her search the more dangerous her situation seemed. She could feel over hundred thousand living beings and hundreds of sh.i.p.s. Finally, she reached the biggest ship and froze.

"It's here. My search will end." She felt nothing. In a singular spot within the fleet she found the void. The pure nothingness. The Force is supposed to be everywhere and in everyone. Yet she could feel how its completely void of this individual like the force is doing everything in its power to stay away. She could finally complete her task. The task her Master started. She relaxed for a few minutes and began thinking of how her capture led to this. However, she suddenly realized she already felt the Void. A weaker one. She shot up and immediately used the force to search the entire fleet again. She could feel three different ones scattered throughout the fleet. She panicked and quickly thought of the possibilities.

Maybe the void master was searching for wasn't just a singular thing but a race of individuals? Maybe they were searching incorrectly this entire time. If it's race why haven't they been discovered before? Or maybe they have and haven't been recorded. Wait. If it's a race why isn't everyone voided?

She quickly used the force again and searched the nearby individuals. She used the force and searched the entire person finding out everything she could about them. They were cladded in heavy armor. Some varied in race, however they all had one thing in common pride and heavily equipped for battle. "Mandalorians. Diesel?" The more she thought the more the possibilities linked towards him being the void. When he appeared the visions became stronger. The bigger his name became the more overwhelming they were. If that was the case why haven't the Jedi done anything and instead stayed on the sidelines? They should know of its existence. Grandmaster Yoda even visited Naboo. Is it fear? Is it the unknown?

The order knew of her Masters mission and gave the go ahead. In the end he died. Did the order betray her and her Master? They never responded to her distress signal. Never came to her rescue from the Black Suns. Maybe The Order didn't want her to find them? Maybe they knew from the beginning. In the end she was held hostage by the Order, Stolen from her family. Left to die with her Master. She could only feel anger with the Order. They knew... Everything was their fault. How much time was wasted. They are no different from the Black Suns. She would seek revenge...but how? The Void?
