Chapter 340 – Her Big Brother had never forgotten about her or abandoned her! (1)
“But I didn’t get any notifications?”
The man was being so secretive too. She had no idea about this ahead of time.
She flipped through the systems but didn’t see any log on recharging.
[The recharge will happen when the transfer to Host has been completed.]
Gu Shishi nodded but stopped all of a sudden.
“Now that we are married, everything is communal property, no? I own half of this upfront?”
[Host, do you really think being a housewife of a prestigious family is that simple?]
[All prestigious family has a complete set of procedures to list out pre-marital and post-marital properties.]
[They also have the best lawyers in town. If they ever get a divorce, as long as the husband doesn’t want to split with the wife, she would have to leave empty handed.]
[As such, the system only distinguishes those that were gifted by the husband and those that were specifically listed under your name.]
Gu Shishi muttered an “oh” and, rubbing her chest, said, “You should have told me that sooner. Here I was feeling bad about all the wedding candies. They weren’t even my money to begin with. Why did I bother?”
[… …]
Gu Shishi toyed with the system.
She was only two pages into the report and she started pulling out her hair.
She didn’t understand.
She could make out that of the dozen or so of stores, half of them were barely making a profit and the other half were losing money…
All in all, they were not profitable.
Oh boy!
Managing a business was no easy feat after all. Rent, salary, advertising cost, it was difficult to break even at the beginning.
One could only turn the table as the business grew year after year and slowly take over the market share.
All those were baffling to her.
From the perspective of painting, the position of this shop was not very precise.
When a normal person with zero painting background came to take classes, it was mainly just a hobby. When they were in the mood, they’d purchase a few more classes. But hobbies come and go, which makes it difficult to make them long-term customers.
With their short interest span, it was difficult enough to make back the advertisement fees and classroom cost that was spent on them, let alone making good money.
Gu Shishi rested her head in her palm.
Only a very small group of individuals will continue to take classes.
A small portion of them were the ones who started learning from a young age and had their minds set on making this their talent and wanted to pursue higher education in this field. And then there were the ones who were determine, had interest, and had figured out the trick to learning.
With their current management style, with the exception of the few children workshop that were profitable from the parents dream of discovering the talents in their children, the rest were obviously not sustainable.
Gu Shishi shook and bobbed her head.
[Siyi: Madam, I am looking for a professional manager for the art studio. Do you have any specific requests?]
Gu Shishi was dazed a little after reading the message then let out a low roar of joy.
Excellent! She didn’t need to worry about it at all!
She immediately responded in a good mood.
[Have You Received Red Packets Today: No, not really. Preferably someone with some basic knowledge in painting. Hmm, someone not too old, preferably under 30. Have a few years of management experience but not too old school.]
It was important to give the place a younger feel and offer what the customers want to see if their demographics were going to be the younger bunch, especially teenagers in their rebellious period.
[Siyi: Okay. I will let You interview them when I find some candidates.]
[Have You Received Red Packets Today: No need to use the respect form of “You”. That makes me sound so old…]
[Siyi: Yes_Maam.JPG]
Gu Shishi quickly put away her cellphone with a smile.
So it was this plain and boring to be a leech who didn’t need to worry about a thing? Simple, too!
So simple that made one wanted to keep on falling deeper and deeper…
Gu Shishi narrowed her eyes. It wasn’t easy but she was finally able to recall how her master used to train her with her head in her hands.
It was a cruel and painful process started when she was just 5 years old.
She started writing all of them down on a piece of paper as she recalled her own experiences.
She should at least put in some efforts~
It wasn’t easy for the boss to make money and he’d spend them with such little regards, not knowing how to be frugal at all.
It’d be best if her art studio can be somewhat profitable.
Should the boss ever lose all of his money, there would at least still be hers…
These could all become supply for her health bar in the future!
