The banquet began, and in addition to the various dishes and sweetmeats we had tasted so far, curry and a new menu to introduce soy sauce and miso were also announced. Although I was confident from the reactions of Sylphy, Belle, Gina and the others, I was relieved when the spirit kings praised my work. Now, if we can make the intermediate spirits enjoy the party, we will be able to fulfill the purpose of this banquet.

After greeting the spirit kings, I walk around the banquet hall, which has a fantastic atmosphere.

Hmmm, the ones eating while floating with plates of food in their hands are all floating spirits and lower class spirits.

The sight of the young spirits in various forms eating the feast while enjoying themselves is very relaxing, but I can't see the middle-class spirits, who are the main attraction of the feast.

I think they were interested in the food, so they might be at the table where the food is laid out.

When I went to the table where the dishes were lined up, I found the intermediate spirits as I had expected, but it was a little different from what I had expected to see.

"Isn't this interesting?

"Oh, Sylphy. ...... are you enjoying this?"

"Yes, everyone is having a good enough time."

"...... so ...... what is it?"

The middle class spirits are eating their meals in a well-mannered manner at the table we set up.

Some of the intermediate spirits are dressed as animals, which makes them look strange, but the atmosphere is like that of children trying their best to be quiet in an official place such as a wedding hall.

Is this fun?

"Yes, as I said before, at that age it's fun to be well-behaved. Just like taking care of the little ones."

Oh, so that's how it is.

It's a pity that I can't see them being so open and happy, but I'll be satisfied if they're enjoying themselves.

Besides, if we check their facial expressions, we can see that they smile like children when they eat their meals, which makes us feel satisfied.

"Are intermediate level spirits like this all the time?"

I don't know how you feel, but you look tired.

"No, it's not like that. If there are no younger children around or if it's just a group of close friends, they will have a good time. If they become interested in drinking at such times, then the higher spirits are close at hand."

......I've learned some indescribable information in an indescribable situation.

"Hey Sylphy. That's not the stress of working so hard that you're running away to drink, is it?"

That would explain why most senior spirits and great spirits like to drink.

I've always thought that spirits like to drink by default, but does that mean that if we do something about the root of the problem, there will be fewer spirits who are heavy drinkers?

"That's not true. I enjoy what I do, so I'm not stressed. Spirits are attracted to alcohol when they grow up."

"I see."

So that's what a genie is.

Well, alcohol can be a trump card against a genie, so I don't like the idea of a genie who can't use alcohol, but I still wanted to see an adult genie who is not affected by alcohol.

It is quite shocking to see a classy genie like Dolly emptying barrel after barrel of sake, even though she seems to be drinking in a classy way.

"That's not important, isn't it time to get started?"

The spirits, who are not affected by alcohol, think it's not about that, but Sylphy is right, it's time to go.

"Well then, let's go backstage."

"Yes."

When I went to the side of the stage with Sylphy, Dine, Nomos, Dolly, If, and Vita had already gathered.

All the great spirits with whom I have a contract had gathered.

Once again, I think that if these members wielded their power, it would be a piece of cake to conquer the continent.

I'm beginning to wonder now if this is really the right thing to do with such a group of people.

"Yuta, let's start!"

"Uh-huh."

Well, the Great Spirits are surprisingly enthusiastic, which is probably a good thing. I'm not the type to conquer a continent.

"Okay."

"Ladies and gentlemen, I apologize for interrupting your pleasantries. We are about to start the entertainment, so please pay attention to the stage. Today's program will be and a welcome concert by our volunteers. Please enjoy the show.

After Sylphy's cue, I read the manuscript I had prepared, and my voice spread across the banquet hall on Sylphy's wind.

The spirits gathered in the banquet hall seemed to be surprised at the sudden announcement, but they gathered around the stage with excited expressions.

What is about to begin is a stage adaptation of a picture book.

It is the story of the water heroes.

Incidentally, this event was decided upon because of Dine's words, "I want to do something, too!

So we decided that it would be lonely to prepare a stage and have only a concert, and I got involved.

I was busy preparing for the banquet, so why don't we put on a play since it's a stage? This struck a chord with Deene, and her favorite picture book about a water hero's great adventure was to be adapted for the stage.

The story is about a boy who is loved by a water spirit and goes on a great adventure, finally defeating a bad dragon and marrying a princess.

Moreover, it was decided to stage the story with the art of genie.

To put it simply, it is a kind of a puppet show with a character created with the attributes of a spirit and voiced by the character, a kind of a genie version of a puppet show.

Created by ? Direction Dine

Storyteller Vita

Brave man Water puppet Operation Deanne Voice Vita

Water spirit Water doll Operation Deene Voice Deene

Princess Wooden doll Operation Dolly Voice Dolly

Righteousness Wind puppet Operator Sylphy Voice Sylphy

Bad Dragon Flame Doll Operation If Voice If

Small villain Clay figure Operation Nomos Voice Yuta

Stage equipment Nomos Dolly

The play goes like this.

The reason why there is no voice actor for Nomos is because he can't do such an embarrassing thing! The reason why Dine is on the stage so much is because Dine is so determined.

"Ha-ha-ha, I got the princess!"

"Kyaa~"

The play begins with the appearance of a huge flaming dragon from a huge bonfire and the kidnapping of a princess made of wood.

If is very enthusiastic in his performance, and though he is supposed to be a bad dragon, he is strangely cool.

And Dolly is adorable as she tries her best to scream.

A water hero sets off with a water spirit to save the princess, a wind bandit helps the hero, and a small villain gets in the way.

When the scene changes to a rocky terrain, Nomos transforms the stage into a rocky terrain, and when they enter a forest, Dolly creates a forest on the stage.

As a result of the power wielded by the great spirits, the water heroes send out water slashes that cut through the rocks.

The wind bandits fly around at high speed, smashing small, villainous clay figures to pieces with their blades of wind.

Giant flaming dragons fly across the banquet hall sky, spewing searing flames as their breath.

This stage play, which is supposed to be a simple stage adaptation of a simple story from a picture book, has been turned into a visual work with a Hollywood look, with a heartwarming narration in the background.

The final battle is particularly powerful, with the evil fire dragon on the rampage, the water spirits protecting their friends at the risk of their lives, and the wind bandits risking their lives to create an opening for the evil dragon.

In the end, the princess's prayer calls for a miracle and the water heroes, who had been at their limits, are restored. The miraculous turnaround was grandly staged.

Thus, the water hero defeated the bad dragon and lived happily with the princess for a long time. And so it went.

After Vita's closing words, the banquet hall was filled with cheers.

Frankly speaking, I think it was justified.

Although the direction and voice actors were not up to par, the quality of the characters and the operation were top-notch. The power of the show was unparalleled in Japan.

Of course, everyone was very excited.

"Yuta, you're amazing! It's fun!"

Excited bells flew in, ringing handbells and circling around me.

"squeak, squeak!"

"That was amazing. I want to play too!"

"Coo! Kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!"

"Doragon is cool!"

".................."

Of course, Bell was not the only one who was excited, and Rain and the others who arrived a little later were also very excited, ringing their handbells.

I'm glad they are so happy, but I wish they had left the handbells behind.

And Sakura. I know you're excited, but please don't cling to my chest and shake the handbells with your hush-hush sniffling. I don't even know what you're talking about.

After telling me what they think of me, Bells and Sakura then go for the big spirits and tell them what they think of me with great excitement.

Bells, next is the handbell performance...you're not going to forget it in your excitement, are you?

As I was worried, Gina and her friends showed up with their contracted floating spirits. Gina was fascinated by the dragon, Marco by the hero, and Kikka by the princess.

Seeing the disciples and Belle and the others, I was thankful for Dine's idea for the first time in a long time.

Originally, the performance was supposed to start right after the play, but the performers and the audience were so excited that they decided to wait a little longer.

If I don't do this, I'm sure I'll fail.

*****

The excitement of the play finally subsides and the main concert of the day begins.

To be honest, I don't feel that the front act was too much fun, but I believe that everyone's cuteness will erase the memory of the front act.

The stage is now covered with a big mud wall to hide the scene of preparation.

The occasional sound of Gina's impatient voice makes me feel more nervous, but I cheer strongly in my heart that everyone can make it.

The wall of earth is removed, indicating that preparations have been made.

Then, I am surprised to see Gina, the conductor, wearing a dark dress and bowing gracefully.

A dark dress. Gina usually wears the dress inside her robe and is too shy to show it to the public.

Gina, who always wears colorless clothes and acts and behaves in a masculine manner, has a great style, and when she wears a jet-black dress that reveals her body lines in a seductive way, she looks as if she has changed into a different person.

Gina bowed and gently waved her baton, and the lovely concert began.

Although not as exciting as during the play, the performance by Gina and the other humans, the lower level spirits, the floating spirits, and the spirit tree's thought body gently soothed the audience, and a warm atmosphere spread throughout the banquet hall with each leaning and tapping sound.

Except for Sara and Sakura, who are human and newly born, most of the spirits are older than the others, but they are still immature children in spirit.

There are inevitably some out-of-tune notes and some notes that do not need to be sounded.

However, such things are nothing but trivial in front of the children who are playing hard but happily.

Everyone in the banquet hall is listening to the gentle, clear sound of handbells and cheering them on.

Perhaps because I had announced before the performance that I had practiced hard to welcome the intermediate spirits, they seemed to be moved to tears, and some of them were leaning forward to cheer too much.

A sense of unity different from the excitement of the play was created, and when Gina and the performers bowed at the end of the performance, a round of applause erupted.

It was a great success.

Perhaps I should request an encore. Gina might resent me for this, but I am sure the other children would be pleased.
