Hanging up the phone, Tong Huaer opened the door and walked out. Du Xuefei threw a pillow on the floor.
Tong Huaer paused, pursed his lips and walked to his bed without saying anything.
But within five minutes of lying down, someone knocked on the door.
Tong Huaer opened his eyes speechlessly, resigned to his fate and went to open the door. When he saw a strange man standing at the door, his eyes flashed with doubt.
"Who are you looking for?"
"Who is Miss Tong, please?" The man asked.
Tong Huaer frowned, "I am. May I ask who you are..."
"Hello Miss Tong, room manager of the bedroom hotel. We have arranged a room for you upstairs. Please follow me." The man immediately said to her respectfully.
"Arrange a room for me? Are you mistaken? I'm an art student."
Tong Huaer was not stupid enough to leave with a stranger late at night.
"We're not mistaken. It's zong..."
"Wait!" Tong Huaer immediately interrupted the manager, frowned and said in a low voice, "You mean Zong Beili asked you to arrange a room for me?"
"Yes, our hotel is owned by young master Zong. Young master Zong called in person just now and asked us to arrange the best room for you. Miss, please follow me." The man said.
Well, knowing that this was Zong Beili's territory and that the man in front of her was not a bad person, she was relieved.
After thinking about it, Tong Huaer didn't like Du Xuefei either, so she nodded and agreed, "But my luggage..."
"Miss Tong, don't worry. We'll send you to your room."
The manager gestured to the back and two waiters walked in to tidy up her things.
Tong Huaer said nothing more and followed him upstairs to the guest room.
Du Xuefei hadn't fallen asleep. She screamed when she saw someone coming in, but no one paid any attention to her.
The manager rearranged the best room here. Tong Huaer had a good sleep, got up, looked at the picturesque scenery outside, and turned to the bathroom to wash up.
When they got downstairs, Xu Weiran and a few boys were distributing tents. When they saw her coming over, they handed her one.
"Did you sleep well last night?" Xu Weiran said.
Tong Huaer was stunned and smiled, "It's good."
"Of course! Do you think they live in a standard room like us? They live in the best room here!"
Du Xuefei's shrill voice came from behind.
Tong Huaer frowned and turned to look at her with a flash of displeasure in his eyes.
Looks like Du Xuefei is up against her?
"Did he arrange it?"
Xu Weiran frowned and asked in a voice that only the two of them could hear.
A smart man like him would have thought that it wasn't her idea for Tong Huaer to change rooms all of a sudden, but... His mosquito extinguisher probably wouldn't work either.
Tong Huaer was stunned and nodded. "Yes."
Xu Weiran knew about her and Zong Beili. There was no need to lie.
Xu Weiran had a complicated look in her eyes, but she quickly returned to her natural state. She smiled at her and said, "That's good. It's important that you live comfortably. I'll help you set up the tent later."
After that, Xu Weiran went to distribute the tents.
Looking at the tall and straight back of the boy, Tong Huaer was somewhat helpless. Xu Weiran had already agreed to her relationship with Zong Beili. Even though she deliberately distanced herself from him, he was still indifferent and stubbornly insisted on waiting for her idea.
As the teacher blew the whistle, Tong Huaer picked up the easel and tent and walked over to gather.
The students were excited that they had to camp for this outdoor sketch. In order to distance themselves from Xu Weiran, Tong Huaer deliberately walked ahead.
Climbing the mountain was a physical task. By the time he arrived at the campsite, Tong Huaer was so tired that he couldn't stand up straight and held the tree to breathe.
"Let me help you. Give me the tent first."
Xu Weiran walked up from behind, his handsome face sweating a little, making him look more energetic.
Could he really not see that she was deliberately avoiding him?
Just as Tong Huaer was about to speak, there was a roar around him.
"The school grass really has nothing to say to our school flower~"
"Take good care of me~"
"Hey, I'm tired too. Who can help me pick up the tent?"
Tong Huaer's face changed and her delicate brows furrowed. Seeing that she seemed a little unhappy, Xu Weiran turned around and said, "Okay! If you have so much free time, go and help other students set up tents. Don't talk nonsense!"
"No, we just want to help the campus flower set up a tent. Weiran, do you agree?"
Everyone continued to joke, as if child Huaer had been carved into Xu Weiran's possession.
"Huaer, don't worry about them. They're just joking."
Knowing that the more he talked, the more confused he became, Xu Weiran was too lazy to talk to them and turned to tong Huaer.
Tong Huaer fixed his eyes on Xu Weiran, "Did you hear what they said?"
Her eyes were cold, Xu Weiran was shocked by her look, and his handsome face was a little confused.
Tong Huaer took a deep breath and looked at him calmly, "I know they didn't mean any harm, but I don't like it. Xu Weiran, I can treat you as a friend in private, but let's keep our distance in public."
What she meant was that we didn't want to be strangers, but please don't let others misunderstand that there was another relationship between us.
It was not the first time Xu Weiran had heard her say no, but he still couldn't come to his senses. There were so many words in her complicated eyes, but because of her cold eyes, she couldn't say a word.
"Okay! As long as you ask, I will do it!"
Xu Weiran took a deep breath and turned to walk to the other side.
Originally, they were the focus, and the students around them started whispering. Tong Huaer looked at xu Weiran's back, took off his backpack and took out the tent to study.
On the other side, Du Xuefei, who saw this scene in his eyes, stared at her coldly, and a deep hatred flashed in his eyes.
In the afternoon, halfway through the sketch, the sky suddenly darkened, dark clouds rolled over her head, and a strong wind suddenly rose from the ground!
The students were frightened. The teacher came over with his cell phone and said that the storm was coming. He told everyone to pack up and go down the mountain immediately.
Tong Huaer was in a hurry to pack her things. When she folded the tent, she accidentally cut a hole in her hand. Blood gushed out of her hand. She wrapped a few laps of toilet paper around it and walked down the hill.
But it was too late. Before they reached the middle of the mountain, the heavy rain fell on their faces. What was more, lightning kept falling in the sky!
How dangerous it was to encounter lightning in the mountains full of trees in the sky without saying anything. The teacher did not dare to let the students walk again and let them wait on a flat ground for the lightning to pass.
All of them had no rain gear, and more than 40 people huddled together, blocking the rain with a drawing board. They looked at the lightning not far away, as if the next one would hit them on the top of their heads!
Tong Huaer had never experienced this kind of weather before. He huddled himself up against the cold and the pain in his hands. He bit his lips and looked at the rain before him. He didn't know when it would stop.
