"Let's get back to the villa, Desmond. I'm sure Graysen will return to his office from here."
"Understood, Miss Diana." Desmond starts backing out of the parking lot of the restaurant Graysen had a lunch meeting with.
"Cant you really recall what he likes?"
"Ever since I work with Mr. Damari, I've known him for being cold to everybody. I don't remember knowing anything he likes besides you, Miss Diana. The only thing that makes him happy is by following and watching you from afar."
I sigh in helplessness. So his happiness is me alone? I'm going to marry him soon, so it's already a given. Though, giving him myself feels like not enough. However, if I think of something to give him, I can't even think of anything since he's already so rich. There's nothing in this world that he can't own.
"Miss Diana." Desmond calls which snaps me from my deep thought. "Albert messaged me just now, asking if we'll be going to town tomorrow? It seems that Mr. Damari wants to know so he's probably planning on "accidentally" meeting with you again."
"He's not going back to the big city?" I ask in excitement as an idea pops in my head.
"I dont think so."
I glance down at my watch and smile. It's nearing six in the evening. I'm thinking of visiting him in his place later after dropping at the villa for a quick change of clothes. But then again, I change my mind. It's better to make Graysen miss me more. I smile to myself. Why not stalk Graysen this time around?
"Tell him, we're going to the hospital."
"Alright, Miss Diana."
When we pull up at the villa, I automatically get out of the car and flee into the house. Julius happily greets me upon opening the door.
"Welcome back, Miss Diana. The dinner is already set."
"Let me take a quick shower first, Julius. Please tell everybody to join me for dinner. It's sad to eat alone."
"Understood, Miss Diana." The old man grins before quickly leaving to go to the kitchen.
Ever since I discovered what Graysen's identity is and forced these people to confess to me, I've had a more wonderful relationship with them. I also demand for them to eat with me because it's what I practice while I'm at the Coleman's house. Ever since I became an orphan, I hate being alone all the time.
Lucio joins me to dinner after I take my shower. Only when I'm about to finish my food that I realized Amy isn't present around the table.
"Wheres Amy?" I ask with a frown.
"Oh, yes." Lucio says while wiping his mouth. "She asked for a leave. She told me she'll return the day after tomorrow."
"Oh, then, let me look after you tonight, Lucio."
"No need." The old man waves his hand. "I've called Graysen earlier and he's sending Dr. Toby Samuel over for the time being."
"Dr. Samuel?" I repeat in astonishment. "Well, that's great! He's my professor and a really good doctor, Lucio. I'll be learning a lot more if I stay beside him while he looks after you."
"That's quite a relief. I haven't met this man but since you personally know him, then I'm reassured."
I smile as I continue my food. I like the happy atmosphere with the Damari personnel while they chat lively about their lives. I also noticed that Lucio quite enjoyed listening to them as if he's been hungry for conversation ever since being confined so long in his wheelchair.
Once Graysen and I make babies, this household will definitely have a louder and happier vibe, giving more life to the huge and cold house. I subconsciously tap my tummy, wondering if I'm carrying Graysens child. After all, we never used protection and I'm not on the pill either. I smile mischievously at the pleasant thought.
