Chapter 119 - The Weird Pink Bubbles

Suppressing his annoyance, Pat nodded his head.

"Yes. I came just to pick up some stuff." He cleared his throat and took a step back.

'And take some clothes so that I don't have to keep seeing your face whenever I come here.' He did not reveal what actually was on his mind.

Lucille was disheartened that he had finally come home after so many days but he still spoke of leaving again.

While they were speaking, Mandy got up from her seat.

"Why would you do that to me?" She shrieked all of a sudden.

She had been waiting for her father to turn towards her and say something so that she might pour out her grievances before him.

But to her dismay, Pat did not even glance at her from the moment he had arrived.

"Huh? Do what?" Pat looked at her with confusion apparent in his eyes.

"I've been trying to reach you for so many days but not once did you answer my call! I even came to Yang Group but the receptionist wouldn't allow me to enter!" She stalked towards him as she glared viciously.

The easygoing expression on Pat's face faded and a deep frown took its place.

"I do not like the tone you are using with me, Young Lady." He sternly spoke and a strong pressure oozed around him.

He may seem nice and fun to be around but this did not mean that he would tolerate the way she had spoken just now.

Lucille woke up from her daze when she felt the killing aura that he had emitted and pulled Mandy behind her in a hurry.

"She's a just child, she doesn't know how to behave properly. After all, she does not have the noble upbringing as the others, so please forgive her for my sake." She tried to gain his sympathy but things weren't in her favor today.

Patrick was seething in anger however, he soon calmed himself down.

'Remember what that Demoness Diane told! I need to tolerate them until we can find proper evidence against them.' He took a deep breath and steadied his emotions.

"What do you want?" He spoke to Mandy with an indifferent expression.

Mandy was hurt when she saw his lazy and uninterested eyes but she still had a lot to complain about.

"My friends were invited to the auction last night. I know that you were too." She uttered with a choking voice.

Jeanette and the others had sent her pictures of her father at the auction and asked why she had not accompanied him.

"What about it?" He was still not sure why she was creating a scene about it.

"I wanted you to take me along but you never answered my calls! Now all my friends know that I did not attend it and they'll ignore me even more!" Her tears poured out.

Pat was dumbfounded that she was crying so bitterly for such a small reason.

She was worried that she would once again be ostracized by Jeanette's friends.

"I wouldn't have taken you along even if you had successfully reached out to me." He gave his final answer and noticed how Lucille's and Mandy's faces had different reactions.

'Was he planning to ask me out but couldn't because of certain reasons?' Lucille blushed and looked at him with love overflowing from her eyes.

Her delusions were leading her to a happy place as always but her daughter wasn't the same.

'Was he planning to take that bitch Lina?' Mandy was burning with jealousy.

"Why would you no-"

"Yo Uncle Pat? What's taking you so long?" A loud voice interrupted what she was about to say.

When they turned towards the source of the voice, there was a young man standing at the door, wearing an awesome leather jacket and holding a helmet in his hand.

'Show off!' Patrick rolled his eyes.

'Why is he here again!?' Lucille scowled.

'Isn't he…!' Mandy stared at him without blinking.

Her eyes widened and she remembered the face that always appeared in her dreams. The man who had saved her at the club and then vanished.

Wayne leisurely walked in and placed the helmet on the table before looking at the people standing there.

He looked at Lucille and smiled at her and then turned to Uncle Pat.

"We are getting late, go get your stuff!" He urged Uncle Pat as he pointed to his watch.

He watched as Pat climbed up the stairs and turned towards the pair of eyes that were staring at him from the moment he had arrived.

"What?" He asked the woman beside Lucille.

"Is this your beautiful daughter, Lucille? The one you love and want to take care of?" He asked sarcastically.

In return, Lucille just turned her head away from him but Mandy was overjoyed that he knew who she was.

In her happiness, she did not notice the silent sparks flying around him and her mother.

"Hello…? Do you remember me?" She timidly asked in hopes of having a sweet reunion moment with him.

"Huh? Have we met before?" Wayne tilted his head and tried to recall seeing this face before but he couldn't.

Her smile cracked when she realized that he did not remember who she was.

Mandy's reunion scene did not go as she had planned multiple times in her head.

She had imagined that he would gently take her in his arms and confess that she had stolen his heart at first glance which was why he had saved her on that day.

But she was not going to let this dampen her happiness.

'I finally found him!' She dreamily gazed into his green-blue eyes and smiled.

Lucille noticed the weird pink bubbles that were surrounding her and this made her frown.

'What is she thinking about?' She wondered but Wayne had recognized the looks that he was getting.

He felt like puking when he thought of how this weird woman might have feelings for him.

'She's literally the enemy! Why would I even look at her twice?' He scowled yet gave her a charming smile.

'This will be fun!' He smirked when he noticed Lucille's panic.

"Mandy, this is your brother Wayne. He's Wade's elder brother. Quick, call him brother!" She compelled her daughter to establish their relationship to avoid any foolish thoughts that were in her brain.

As if lightning had struck right on her head, Mandy's entire body froze. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped.

'Brother Wayne? The guy I've been dreaming about this whole time turned out to be my brother? Why God? Why?' She felt her heart squeeze painfully when she looked at his beautiful face.

'Wow! She really is her mother's daughter. Both of them couldn't realize that Wade and I are twins.' He rolled his eyes inwardly.

"Hello, little sister. What were you talking about earlier?" He poked the fresh and open wound on her heart which made her brows furrow deeply.

"Nothing. I must have mistaken you for someone else." She shook her head and did not say what she truly felt.

Lucille sighed when she heard the bubbles burst all around Mandy and she came back to her senses.

'Baby, it will be better for you if you don't have any contact with this jerk!' She hoped because she had met the real Wayne that hid behind that charming face.

"Let's go!" Pat had come back down with a huge bag and a helmet in his hand.

"Sure!" Wayne picked up his helmet and they both walked out.

Lucille rushed out to see Patrick to the door while Mandy ran to watch Wayne leave.

The two men looked at each other as they sat on their bikes and zoomed out of the Manor's gates.

They had a tradition of going biking every Sunday and Pat had come over to get his bike and some other stuff but he had not thought that he would be confronted by Mandy like that.

'We need to work faster, I can't tolerate them anymore. Plus my alone time with Wally is getting affected because everyone is in the same house!' He pouted as he rode the bike.

Their room in Luo Residence was too close to the twins and Ace was worried that they would hear their voices in the night.

So he was forbidden from pouncing on Ace whenever they were around the house.

This had obviously affected Pat's mood so he decided to find a way to quickly kick the mother-daughter pair from his life and his house.

After her day at the spa, Lina returned to her room and packed her stuff up.

Before leaving, she took one last glance at the room and thought of everything that had happened last night.

'I almost became an MC in some possessive CEO novel in this room!' She shook her head when she thought of how Reuben had forced her into the room.

'He really was so hard at that time!' She blushed and touched the place on her stomach that she had felt his member poking her.

'I hope he's fine and still not in any pain because of my kick or else his parents and future wife will curse me to death.' She chuckled and walked out of the room.

After checking out, she met Derek who was already waiting for her outside.

*Ping*

Her phone lit up and when she checked the message she received, her face also lit up.

"Derek, take me to this address please!" She beamed and passed her phone to him.

"Yes, Young Miss." He looked at the address and safely drove her to the address.

'I can't wait to meet you again!' She squealed like a little girl.
