Wade frowned when he saw that Benji had broken into his company's firewall with ease and was looking through the previous footage to catch who the culprit was.
Benji looked up at Vivian who stared back at him with confidence as she had not done anything wrong this time.
"She is right. There was someone who was there and was likely the person who had started the rumors." He acknowledged what she had said earlier.
'Who is it?' Asst Leon Jiu was squirming in his seat as he leaned towards Benji to peep into his laptop.
But the big man used his body as a wall and shielded the screen from his curious eyes.
Leon scoffed at the stingy man and then looked at his boss Anthony Shen with his lips like a little child who was bullied.
"Behave!" Anthony chided the man-child who did not know how to act like an adult even in this tense situation.
Wade paid no heed to the two men who were whispering among themselves and turned to his secretary.
"Take them to the meeting room next door and let them stay there until I call for them again." He instructed and nodded at the two members of Stephen Jin's team.
Vivian and Supervisor Tim followed after the head secretary as they were no longer needed inside the room.
Once the door was shut, Wade signaled Benji, who immediately connected his laptop to the monitor mounted on the wall.
Soon everyone present in the room could watch the CCTV footage that he had discovered after he had taken just a few minutes to find them.
There were expressions of surprise, anger, intrigue, and disappointment across the faces present in the room.
Stephen Jin had confusion and bewilderment written all over his face when he saw the culprit in action.
Wade and Benji both had equally infuriated faces when they saw the woman who was the cause of their troubles.
As usual, it was Leon with curiosity dripping from his face as his eyes stayed glued to the movements of the person who stealthily sneaked out of the room after she was done with her work.
The last was Anthony Shen and Kirk Douglas who had disappointment evident on their faces as they shook their heads.
Wade clenched his fists and sneered at the person whose face was clearly captured on the screen.
'Looks like she does not care about her job any longer.' He turned the monitor off which brought the men's attention onto him.
"Any solutions on how to salvage the situation?" He questioned and glanced around the room.
The culprit had already been identified and now all that was left to be done was to help regain the reputation that Lina had lost due to this incident.
"What about that woman?" Benji interrogated as he gritted his teeth.
He had always disliked the woman ever since their first meeting and now there finally was a chance to get rid of her for good.
'If he says something like he has to respect the legal contract then I will not hesitate to plant some evidence against her to kick her out of Obsidia!' He narrowed his eyes as he waited for the answer.
Wade could feel the animosity in his glare and this made him raise his brows.
"She will not stay in Obsidia. There is no question in that!" He scoffed at the doubting man.
Benji took a sigh of relief when he heard the assurance he received from this man who had the second-highest authority in the company.
"What is more important right now is to improve Nana's image in the eyes of the employees. After all, she is the…" Wade's words soon came to an abrupt halt.
'Stop!' Benji and Kirk widened their eyes when he had begun his sentence.
'It's a good thing that I stopped myself in the nick of time!' He let a loud breath out which attracted the suspicion of others.
Benji, Kirk, and Wade were the only ones who were aware of the true CEO who stayed behind the scenes and operated the company.
So the other three men were confused when they saw the sudden strange atmosphere that had enveloped the room.
'What does he mean by those words and why does it seem like he is hiding something from us?' Detective Leon Jiu was back at his usual shenanigans.
He had noticed the panic that had appeared in the VP and the Douglas brothers' faces.
Although it was just for a fleeting second, he had caught that anomaly in their expressions with his all-seeing eyes.
While he was trying to figure out what other secrets Lina was hiding from them, there was someone who was operating their brain at full capacity.
"I think I might have a solution on how to help Noona out." A soft mutter was heard in the silence.
The youngest in the room had spoken and all the elders turned to face him.
"We might need those fools to give us a hand but I am sure we can sort everything out before Noona comes over tomorrow." He revealed which obtained both hot and cold reactions.
Benji and Wade stared at Stephen with suspicion when he had mentioned Lina's arrival.
"Why would Nana come to the office? I am going to ask her to stay at home until this mess gets sorted out." Wade declared while rolling his eyes.
Hearing his words, everyone frowned and stared at him as though he had just said the most stupid thing they had ever heard.
"What!!?" He yelled out, annoyed that they were directing such an offensive gaze at their boss who signed their paychecks.
Kirk Douglas, his assistant took it upon himself to point out exactly where his boss had gone wrong.
"Boss, if we ask Nana to stay back then won't the news about her being a slacker gain more weight?" He enunciated in a clear voice.
This explanation hit Wade like a truck and he nodded his head in immediate agreement.
"How could I not think about this?" He muttered to himself and once again there was someone who was happy to help.
"VP loves his sister too much to put her through any trouble which is why he missed this crucial point." Assistant Leon Jiu commented about the close connection the cousins had.
Wade glared at the man who was so eager to help out then turned his attention to the Little Devil who had yet to reveal what his plan was.
Noticing the eyes on his face, Stephen cleared his throat and then smirked before explaining what he had thought up in order to help Lina.
He signaled them to huddle closer and once they had done according to his wishes, he began narrating his plan of action.
The skepticism in Benji's eyes faded the longer he heard what the child had to say.
When Stephen had completed his speech, he reveled in pride as he scoffed at their surprised and impressed eyes.

During the time that Stephen's plan was being discussed, Vivian and Tim waited in the meeting room that they had been led to by the kind secretary.
"Do you think that she would do such a thing?" Tim questioned about the woman whom Vivian suspected to be the main villain in this incident.
Vivian recalled the time that she had done something wicked to warp the opinion of the employees about Lina.
She looked at her supervisor straight in his eyes and nodded her head.
"A jealous woman can do anything when she has had enough and runs out of her patience." She muttered and flashed him a bitter smile.
She had done the same and she knew why women dragged each other down rather than helping them stay afloat together, uplifting each other in the process.
Though she was late to this realization, she was glad that she was now aware of her mistakes and had taken a willing step to change her ways.
Tim was surprised, to say the least when he saw that smile on her face.
An apologetic smile which showed that she had regret hidden in her heart.
'I never knew that Vivian could smile like that…' He remarked and looked away to hide the shallow blush that had emerged on his face.
He quickly shook his head to remove any stupid thoughts in his mind regarding this woman who sat opposite him.
'She is Vivian! Don't have such thoughts in your mind for her! You are her supervisor and senior.' He reprimanded the heart which had suddenly thumped out of nowhere.
However, his eyes traveled back to the woman who was shaking her feet in nervousness as she awaited her boss to arrive.
'Plus… She likes Boss…' His disheartened thoughts were interrupted when the door was pushed open.
At the front of the group was Wade followed by the Douglas brother then came Stephen and the last to enter were Anthony and Leon.
The group of men walked up to the pair sitting on the chairs and glanced down at them.
"Are you willing to help us clear this misunderstanding regarding Lina's work ethics?" Wade questioned in a straightforward way.
Vivian was stunned when this question was posed to her and she gulped her saliva at the spotlight she was given at the moment.
Stephen narrowed his eyes and glared at the woman while he awaited her answer.
'Say yes or forget about getting a job after your internship is completed!' He sneered at her.
Unfortunately, Vivian could not understand what he was trying to convey with his eyes.
"Yes, VP Luo. I am willing to help Miss Lina." She expressed her acceptance of the offer that he had made her.
Stephen's annoyance faded and a subtle smile appeared on his face which made Vivian blush.
The people in the room all smiled when they heard her response except for one who was watching the woman blush as she gazed at another man.
'Forget about it!' Supervisor Tim shook his head and then smiled as though he wasn't affected in the least bit.
