"Where have you gone, boy!?" The loud scream over the phone destroyed the daydream that Reuben had been lost inside.
His smile which had formed when he was imagining Lina's soft body pressed up against his body soon faded when he heard the old man's voice.
'Way to ruin that beautiful moment!' He sneered at this grandfather who was only making trouble for him.
"Were you imagining doing it with Yang girl while you were on call with your Grandpa?" Aloysius Ming's skeptical voice was heard over the phone.
Reuben could only choke when he heard this incredulous thought that had popped up in this man's head.
"What kind of a person do you think I am? Some crazy pervert who only wants to get into my girlfriend's pants!?" He scowled in return.
However, what he heard in answer made him grit his teeth.
"Spoken like a true pervert." Grandpa Ming muttered to himself, causing Reuben to feel faint.
"Grandpa, thank you for the 'present' that you have sent. My girlfriend and I appreciate the thought you put into it." Reuben began his expression of gratitude.
'The faster I end this call the better for my mental health!' He surmised and hurried towards this goal.
"I hope we get to use it soon. So thank you and make sure you take good care of yourself." He concluded his greetings and waited for his Grandpa to say his piece.
Not disappointing him, Aloysius Ming had gotten the message he was trying to pass along.
"Haiz… Now that you have Yang girl you want to throw this old Grandpa aside?" A sad and disheartened murmur was heard through the phone.
Reuben raised his brow at the man who appeared to have been watching too many drama series these days.
"Well…" He smirked as he gave a hesitant answer now causing the old man on the other side to choke.
"I see how it is, you ungrateful pervert! I will avenge this when I get to meet Yang girl!" Aloysius declared as he hung up on the call.
Reuben stared at the blank screen and sneered at this dramatic grandfather of his who was once a veteran and cold businessman during his youth.
"How could you do that when I will never let Kitten meet you?" He scoffed and tossed his phone aside.
Getting comfortable in bed, he snuggled under the warm blankets and tried to get some rest before Asst Kim arrived with his lunch.

On the outskirts of the city, the lush green garden filled with beautiful flowers of various kinds was a magnificent sight to behold.
Women of different ages sat at their respective tables and marveled at the lovely flora that had been planted at the sides of the garden.
Talia and Valerie Zheng stood at the entrance of the garden as they greeted the women whom they had invited to this special tea party they had organized.
The venue that Talia had chosen was an exclusive resort whose membership was restricted to a limited few people in the city.
The only way one could gain entrance into this place was to be a part of the upper echelon of society or to be friends with someone who was a part of the said upper echelon.
The Zheng family had been frequenters to this place and hence Talia had no problem in reserving the garden this afternoon for her tea party.
As the exemplary models of elegance and poise, the young ladies greeted the women who came in one after the other.
Talia had worn a warm yellow sundress that touched her ankles while Valerie had opted for a shorter white sundress that reached her knees.
The elder daughter of the Zheng family had opted for an elegant low bun while the younger daughter had chosen to let her bright pink hair freely cascade over her shoulders.
As they stood together, smiling at everyone who passed by, they looked like fairies as their dresses fluttered in the warm afternoon breeze.
Valerie leaned closer to her elder sister and whispered something which made her nod.
"Jie, Mrs. Huo is here!" She chirped excitedly, trying her hardest to not jump around to express her exhilaration.
Talia shot her a glance which stilled her enthusiasm and made her look down.
Valerie pouted when she was warned by her sister's furious gaze which only she had understood.
Moira Huo entered the garden with her two best friends in tow and headed in the direction of the hostesses.
"The place looks amazing, girls. Good job at selecting this venue." She praised once she had reached their position.
Valerie gave her best smile to the woman who had given birth to the man she has been in love with since her childhood days.
Talia smiled at this influential woman, the matriarch of the Huo family, and at the women who had come along with her.
"Thank you for attending my party, Mrs. Huo. I hope you like the preparations that my little sister made for everyone today." She expressed her gratitude while praising her sister.
Those who heard Talia giving credit to her sister smiled and praised them both.
The elder sister for being meek and humble in admitting that the hard work was done by Valerie and not hogging the credit from her.
While the younger sister was lauded for she had done a brilliant job with arranging this party for them.
The group of women they had invited were all women from high society and held important statuses.
As Talia glanced around the garden, she felt upset when she saw that the one woman whom she had been hoping to meet today had not yet arrived.
'When will Aunt Renee come?' She wondered while continuously darting her eyes towards the entrance.
Talia had sent an invite to the countryside villa where Renee and Felix Ming stayed with Grandpa Ming.
She had even received a position reply in the RSVP card that she had sent yet there was no sign of the woman for whom she had orchestrated this entire party.
'If she isn't here then what is the use of the efforts that we have put in?' She scoffed yet not for a single second did her smile fade as she greeted her guests.
While she was watching the entrance like a hawk, her eyes sparkled in excitement when she saw two figures walking inside.
Though they were not who she had been waiting for, she was nonetheless jubilant upon witnessing their arrival.
