Chapter 40 - Review

(New question: What alcoholic beverages do you guys like to drink? I am going to be doing a club scene in one of the upcoming chapters and it would be cool to have some of yall make a cameo drinking your favorite drink. I know it doesn't make sense due to the fact that there is a war going on but I'm sure some of you will pick up on the reason quickly. NO SPOILERS! LMK!)

Tyler and Kai were standing before the command table while they were in hyperspace. When they had arrived back on their flagship, they discovered that there were multiple requests for an emergency war council meeting.

Among the various Jedi Generals whose holograms were on the table were Kenobi, Skywalker, Kit Fisto, and Windu. Aside from them were Master Yoda, Admirals Yularen, Kilian, and Coburn, and Chancellor Valorum.

Valorum was visibly frustrated. "Someone… anyone… please explain to me why we have had so many defeats in just the first few days of the war? I was under the impression that we were at an advantage after Geonosis."

Yularen scoffed. "Our forces are better equipped than theirs and our Navy is more powerful. This is preposterous."

Yoda shook his head. "Unexpected these developments are. The shroud of the dark side, lay over this it does."

Yularen gestured towards Yoda. "Please excuse my rudeness, but can someone translate this?"

Tyler chuckled. "The reason we are losing is because of the unexpected amount of Sith acolytes that are bolstering the CIS forces. No soldier we have is a match for a force user. Similar to how one Jedi surpasses a thousand droids, one sith can surpass at least a hundred clones."

Windu nodded. "Draco is sadly correct. The sheer number of Separatists truly exceeds all expectations. I fear what they may have planned. I have seen a grave danger awaiting us if we continue down this path."

Kilian sighed. "How are we to win this war if we can't win our battles?"

Yoda shook his head. "Lived a long time I have. Change of approach, many benefits to it there are. More to war there is than battle."

Yularen gestured again. "General Draco?"

Tyler sighed. "Before I explain this, I must ask all of you to double check that you are on secure channels and clear the rooms. Anyone in your office or on the bridge that is not a clone or at least a Jedi Knight must leave. We can not allow anyone except us to hear this."

Everyone quickly shuffled around. Tyler cleared his bridge and only allowed Kai to remain. After a few minutes, he spoke up. "Has everyone done what I asked?" Everyone nodded.

Tyler sighed. "Alright. Now bear with me as this may sound crazy."

Valorum chuckled. "Draco, most of the things you do are crazy but their success rate is nothing to scoff at. Continue."

Tyler nodded. "Thank you, Chancellor. Since we can not currently succeed via direct approach, we must go on the defensive."

Coburn scoffed. "That is ridiculous. We…"

Valorum cut him off. "Admiral, please allow Lord Draco to continue."

Tyler nodded. "As I was saying, we must go on the defensive. We should set up heavily fortified encampments in the systems that are crucial to our hyperspace lanes. They are the ones attacking us so we should let them come."

Yularen sighed. "This is an obvious solution. That can't be all, right? We would quickly exhaust our resources due to the fact that they use droids, and we use clones."

Tyler smirked. "That part of the plan is only on the surface. I am about to disclose the reason I had you all ensure security. Underneath the facade of us turtling up, we will commence the largest scale espionage and disruption operation in the history of this galaxy."

Yularen nodded. "This would definitely allow us to gain an advantage while their forces are scrambling to re-establish their networks. We will need to ȧssign personnel very carefully."

Tyler smiled. "Indeed. That is why I will do this. We must splurge resources on this effort. We have a vast expendable force at our disposal that will do anything for the right price. Use the guilds for the low priority operations such as small scale disruptions and low level ȧssassinations."

"For the high priority targets, we must use Jedi, elite guild members, and clone special ops units. Do NOT inform them of the reasoning behind their missions and make them appear as random as possible. We can not allow our strategy to leak and be discovered by the enemy."

Windu sighed. "These are quite the underhanded methods."

Tyler nodded. "This is war, Master Windu. We can not hold back. We have the resources and Jedi are quite skilled at infiltration. Does anyone have any objections to this approach?"

Everyone shook their heads.

Tyler smiled. "Great. Here are the orders. All forces in forward positions are to pack up and retreat to reinforce our defensive points. High command will relay your ȧssigned rendezvous by the time you are finished moving out."

"Our biggest priority is to avoid any more losses. If you must leave anything behind that is not personnel, do not hesitate. Get moving people! Now, for those of us, here, I believe we received quite the distress call."

Valorum sighed. "Senator Organa has become trapped on Christophsis while carrying out a relief effort for the besieged citizens and republic forces. We can not allow a galactic senator to fall into the hands of the separatists."

Tyler agreed. "If I am not mistaken, we have two Jedi Masters and two knights in the region. May I join Kenobi in rescuing Senator Organa?"

Valorum nodded. "He would be relieved to have a familiar face come to his rescue. It can also help us gain favor among the loyalists in the senate. Despite us being at war, we must still play the political game."

Tyler sighed. "Well, I'm just glad I can get in on the fun."

Valorum nodded. "Well, go there and rescue him immediately."

Tyler smiled. "I have an admiral nearby so I will be employing their ȧssistance. My sources informed me that the infamous Admiral Trench is there. I need someone that can rival him."

Yularen raised his brow. "Who might you have that can compete with that roach?"

Tyler grinned. "Admiral Mcree has years of experience with commanding naval forces. I am confident that he can give Trench a challenge."

Yularen sighed. "You'll have to introduce me to him someday."

Tyler nodded. "I definitely will. He would be happy to speak with you. I must be going now. Over and out." He closed the hologram table. "Kai, let's get in our fighters. We must rendezvous with Mcree."

Kai nodded as they walked out. "It will be good to see him again. It has been a while."

Tyler smiled. "Indeed it has."

A few hours later, Tyler and Kai were walking into the bridge of the High Noon. This is what Mcree decided to name his flagship. He had a fleet of 12 venators in 2 acclamators. Without a doubt, he was one of the two most experienced admirals in the guild. The other is MonkDonalds but he is on the other side of the galaxy leading an army of clones due to his status as a Jedi Knight and general.

Mcree heard the doors slide open and spun around. "Draco, it's been a minute."

Mcree was quite the badass when it came to players. First, there was his unique look. He was super into the wild west so that was his theme. He wore brown leather boots, armor plated denim jeans that were fitted to his legs, a long sleeve white henley shirt, an armor plated vest, a leather jacket, a dark blue poncho with a white stripe across the middle, and a leather cowboy hat. His guild elder emblem was on the poncho. At his hɨps were two custom blasters that he made himself. They pack an extreme punch, are plated with a silver colored metal, and are shaped like revolvers. However, the cylinder that would normally hold bullets was designed to hold custom energy cartridges.

The second reason he was considered a bad ȧss was a situation he once got himself out of. A few years back he was caught in quite the jam. While completing an epic quest on Tatooine, he was surrounded by eight bounty hunters. The twin suns were high in the sky above his head and gusts of wind blew sand around the ground. All around them, people were hiding behind walls and in their homes, spectating the events. These bounty hunters were a part of a cartel that he was trying to eliminate.

Mcree rolled his eyes and hostered his left pistol. He then quickly shot one of the bounty hunters in the back. Without even turning to look at the other one, he swung his pistol under his left arm and blindly fired at the other escapee. As he heard the bounty hunter's body hit the ground, he blew the smoke away from the barrel of his blaster, spun it around his finger, and holstered it. Once this happened, he was ranked among the top gunners in Limitless, let alone the entire galaxy.

Tyler nodded and smiled as he shook Mcree's hand. "Indeed it has, old friend. You are doing quite well for yourself. Aside from your naval exploits, I can see that you are among the forefront of leveling."

*Mcree, 33 years, Gunner*

*Level 74*

*Tatooine Human*

Mcree laughed. "Dude, my level is nothing compared to yours. You flatter me too much. Anyways, we will arrive shortly. Let's open comms with General Kenobi so I can establish our plan."

Tyler raised his brow. "How many clones do we have?"

Mcree smirked. "Two acclamators full of them."

Tyler sighed. "Are we trying to take the planet?"

Mcree shrugged. "If Trench's blockade can be eliminated, nothing will stop us from taking Christophsis."

Tyler nodded as he saw Obi Wan and Anakin pop up on the command table. "Obi Wan, Anakin, it's a pŀėȧsurė. Allow me to introduce you to Admiral Mcree."

Obi Wan smiled. "I have heard quite a few stories about you, Admiral. I look forward to seeing what I can learn from you."

Mcree nodded. "Thank you, General. Let's get on with this. We only have a few minutes before we engage the enemy. Please turn your attention to the map."

A hologram of Christophsis popped up along with a blockade of 14 CIS frigates and a federation command ship.

Mcree grinned. "This should be easy. Admiral Trench is legendary. His prowess is not to be doubted. Fortunately for us, he is expecting an inexperienced Jedi General and not a veteran Admiral such as myself. Here is the plan."

He pointed at three spots on the hologram and red dots popped up. "These three locations are our points of interest. There is an obvious trap set here since the blockade is weakest here. At this location here, there are reinforcements ready to jump through hyperspace at a moment's notice. Their hope is to trap us in a pincer maneuver."

He then shook his head. "Unfortunately for them, we will be ready. I am going to ask you, General, to have your fleet attack their weak spot and spring the trap. As soon as we can detect their incoming reinforcements, the entirety of my fleet will jump behind them. All of our fire must be focused on eliminating the reinforcements and then breaking through the weak spot in their blockade. This way, we can get our transports to the surface."

Obi Wan raised his brow. "With all due respect, Admiral, I was under the impression that this was a rescue operation."

Mcree shook his head. "General, you are sorely mistaken. There is a reason the CIS want this planet so badly. It is crucial to maintaining control of the hyperspace lane that is used to supply their forces on Tatooine and Geonosis. If we can cut that off, we can choke those forces until they are weak enough to crush."

Obi Wan's eyes lit up. "That is genius. Do we have the necessary forces to complete this operation?"

Mcree nodded. "We have a system army's worth of clones and 20 cruisers with full complement between the two of us. I have no doubt that we can decimate Admiral Trench and give him his first defeat."

Obi Wan grimaced at that last line. "Are you telling me that Admiral Trench has never lost a naval battle?"

Mcree nodded. "Indeed. I also have someone that might help us down on the surface. I believe Draco is already familiar with him. Generals, please put your clone officers into the call."

Three more holograms popped up. These were Commanders Cody and Blaze, and Captain Rex. The legendary clones stood at attention.

Tyler smirked. "At ease, men."

In unison, they responded. "Yes, sir."

Mcree turned to Tyler. "Draco, you cover the ground operation. I am not very well versed in that part of combat."

Tyler nodded before zooming the map into the capital city of Christophsis. "This is where the majority of the CIS forces are concentrated. We will not be able to get any air support until the blockade is crushed so we will be on our own. Fortunately, we have an entire army to take the city. This will be the first official major battle of the war so we need to put on a show."

He pointed to a tall tower in the center of the city. "This is where their commander will be on the ground. We must surround the city and slowly constrict them until we can take this tower. Once we gain the high ground, we can sweep the city and eliminate any remaining forces."

Tyler pressed a buŧŧon on the command table. Holograms of the various heavy vehicles that were at their disposal popped up. He then dragged them around the map. "From each cardinal direction, we will deploy 2 juggernauts, and 4 walkers. We will have gunships carry out hit and run aerial attacks on their forwards forces to loosen them up. Then our heavy weaponry will take them out."

Tyler then sighed. "We must play them like a fiddle so we are going to have to concentrate our ȧssets on the main avenue. All four Jedi and the clone commanders should be here. Keeping us together will force them to deploy the majority of their forces on us. This will make it easy to take them out with some guerilla tactics. Any questions?"

Commander Cody nodded in approval. "This just might work, General."

Rex smirked. "It'll feel good to sucker punch those clankers. They have killed too many of our brothers."

Tyler nodded. "Indeed."

Mcree cut him off. "We are about to arrive, battle stations everyone!"
