As the three were about to approach Vera, Norio got up.

"It seems you're not feeling too hot, we'll get going now, big brother."

"A-are ya sure...?" Rick asked weakly.

Norio gave a nod, then stretched.

"Damnit, bandages!" Mim huffed.

Larkin quickly covered Cole's ears.

"Language, Mim."

Mim looked at him and let out a sigh.

Cole quickly removed Larkin's hands from his ears and looked up at the adults.

"What're we gonna do!?" He cried.

"I suppose we have no other choice then to follow them." Larkin said, letting out a sigh.

"Why'd we have to leave?" Emersyn whined.

"I wanted to play with Maru more..."

Norio ignored her, looking at Vera through the rear view mirror.

"Oi, Vera."

Vera quickly looked up.

"Tell me what's goin' on when we get home, 'kay?"

Vera looked at him, then nodded her head.

As they arrived home, Norio stepped out of the car.

"Why don't we go take a walk?" He said.

He then turned to Emersyn.

"Go next door for now, we'll be back in a bit."

Emersyn pouted.

"But-"

Norio narrowed his eye.

"Fine!" Emersyn cried, as she puffed her cheeks.

"So," Norio began.

"Is there any way we can fix the rip in your eyepatch...?"

Vera looked down.

"I think we can just sew it but..."

As she looked up, she noticed Larkin, Mim, and Cole hiding behind a tree.

"Gah!" She cried, quickly hiding behind Norio.

"What do you see...?" Norio asked.

"L-Larkin, that boy from earlier, and a new man..."

Norio closed his eye, and nodded.

"I see..." He whispered.

"Can you...talk to them?" He questioned.

Vera looked at him.

"Eh?" She then chuckled nervously.

"W-well..."

Norio put his hand on her head.

"Vera," He began.

"Chances are they might need something." He looked at her, then smiled.

"Don't be scared, I'm right here."

Vera looked at him, and began tearing up.

"Nori..." she whimpered.

She then looked in the direction of the three spirits.

"Y-you can come out now..." She whispered.

"I-is she talking to us...?" Larkin asked, turning to Mim.

Mim grumbled as he stepped out from behind the tree.

"Yo, it's 'bout time."

"Mim!" Larkin cried, nudging him.

"Ow!" Mim cried.

"Ok, ok, sorry..."

Vera chuckled nervously.

"I-it's fine..." She smiled.

"We came because we needed to warn you about a rather troublesome spirit..." Larkin looked up.

"Will you hear us out...?"
