Chapter 331 - WHY AM I THINKING ABOUT HER...

At first he was just determined to use her against

Asher finally said what he had to say and waited for her response..

Jane's every single cell of her body was getting excited as this was the first time in 2 years that he had asked to meet her first...

"Yes… Yes… I mean why not…!! I will go to Europe by the soonest flight"

"Oh… no need… I am in country I so you don't need to go anywhere"

Asher told her, sensing her all the excitement she had.

"What…!!? I mean since when? Did you really come to meet my brother" She said in excitement but the real question she wanted to ask was If he really came for her, just because she asked him to meet… She knew he would be there but it was a lot earlier she had expected…

Even though his secretary had told her that he was here but since he never told her about his schedule accurately she never believed his words that much….

When Asher heard her question he was fl.u.s.tered and did not know how to answer as he had dirty plans for him and it was killing him that he was unable to face Jane and look at her 

"Let's not talk about it… If you have time then let's meet tomorrow whenever you have time"

He said while ignoring her question…

"Well… I am very all day.. Tell me what time do you want to meet me..?"

Jane said excitedly.. 

"Well…I am free the whole day tomorrow… So let's meet at 10 on the metro station "

Asher knew Jane had an important online seminar to attend but yet she lied that she had nothing to do so he decided to go out with her all day…

On the other hand Jane did not expect him to call her and even invite her. She felt puzzled but at the end she decided to give up as this was a one time opportunity.

"Ok… let's meet there… I will be there at 10 "

Jane said and Asher only responded with "huh" and hung up the call...

"Is she a fool? I mean it was her dream to present her ideas in this seminar and a lot of people whom she admires are going to be there…"

He said put his right hand on the left side of his c.h.e.s.t and thought to himself ' Why is my heart beating like crazy? Is something wrong with me? Am I really sick or something or it is just the aftereffect of the drinks which I had last night'

He said to himself and called the institute which was holding the online seminar.

The call was picked just after two rings and the person on the other hand greeted him politely

"Yes Mr. Matt...What can I do for you?"

The guy thought that it was Matt as never in his dream he would have expected a call from the King himself 

Asher ignored his greetings and said in his cold and sterned voice " Cancel the seminar which you guys are holding tomorrow and schedule it some other day.."

The person on the other line was shocked by hearing his voice and was sure that it was not Matt…And rather than Matt only the King had the guts to directly call to the governments' office.

He felt confused and puzzled and said "But Sir how can I possibly cancel it ? I mean it would not be easy as everyone is informed already"

"Do you want me to repeat? Or you really want to lose your job like that?"

This time his voice was not only cold but was theatning and the guy quickly replied "Yea… Yea… Yes I will do what I am told to… I still have a lot of time to handle these"

When Asher heard it he finally felt relaxed and his frowning eyebrows were finally relaxed "Well… What did Miss Jane Smith do there? I mean what is her role in the seminar?"

As soon as he asked this question he regretted it but still he was curious about it somehow and he did not want to ask her as he did not want to be close to her but yet wanted to know all about her…

The man on the other hand shook his head and said " Seems like that Jane girl had messed up with the King unknowingly… It was her first Seminar as a lead researcher and it was her dream but the King himself postponed it… Oh"

He said and looked at his watch and said " Let's not tell anyone about the King or I will be done for… Let's find some other way out and cancel it for tomorrow "

He said and left...

Asher was still sitting in his car and leaned back on the seat and thought that how much she tried that he would go to her campus and pick her up… She did not even ask him to meet the colleagues there, just to pick her up...

He closed his eyes and started remembering all of the time he had spent with her till now..

Last night after drinking he thought that he would think about Stella the whole night but however he tried all he could see was Jane's laughing face , her crying face, her waiting for him stubbornly….

"Why am I even thinking about her?" He said to himself and started thinking about her once more

' But when I came to think about it… I have given her a lot of wounds… I always left with other girls hand in hand in front of her… She had been with me for a long long time and I have always made her cry.. If she is still with me it probably means that she still loves me..'

As soon as this thought struck his head he shook his head and said "What the hell are you even thinking… If she loves me or not this has nothing to do with me.."

Meanwhile Jane was all excited that she did not know what to do and what not to do so she ran to Stella's room...

Stella was putting her kids to sleep after playing with them for a long time but as soon as she stood up to leave Jane came running in her room and said in a loud excited voice "Stelllaaa"

She said and held her both hands and swung her with herself..

Stella quickly controlled herself and dragged her out swiftly "Sis... Shhh… Let's talk in your room… the kids are sleeping "

Stella said and both of them ran to Jane's room as Stella was also excited to know about her excitement.
