Chapter 381 - 7 Years Later

7 Years Later,

It's been 7 years since all the things have taken place. A lot of things changed, a lot of people changed and a lot of relationsh.i.p.s changed.

Jane was in Europe and was working in her Lab with her old partners and professors and in 7 Years, She was now a famous researcher and Surgeon all over the world. She had been working hard since there was nothing to do anyway. Her brother was not with her anymore, to whom she had loved dearly and the love of her life, Well there is nothing much to talk about, he had been chasing after her like a madman or a stalker. He appeared everywhere he went. Her day starts with his stalking and ends with his stalking….

Even though she hated him because of her brother and sister in law, she could not ignore the fact that once she had loved him like a freak.

It's been 11 or 12 years since she had first fallen in love with him and chased him like a crazy stalker..

Maybe the role was reversed…! She had chased him for 4 years but he had been chasing after her for about 6 years but she was still giving him the cold shoulder...

"Hi Jane… Wait… Where are you going let's go together" As soon as she came out of her lab and started walking out of the building, her professor who had been pursuing her, God knows since when, came and stopped her.

"I am sorry Professor… I can't go out with you or something.. I have to go back to Country I" She looked at him and denied him politely…

"It's too much Jane… I have been pursuing you from ages but you never said yes to me…. Years ago you used to tell us that you already have a bf but what now? It was clear that you are single… then why are you not willing to go out with me?"

The Professor was getting mad at her. He had been pursuing her since 8 to 10 years but she had always given him the cold shoulder. He stopped going after her when she repeatedly told him that she had a boyfriend and later she again told him that she was in a relationship, if not for hearing her talk by chance about her relationship that she had been single for more than 5 years, he got mad and had been torturing her once again in her work and everywhere. 

Jane was speechless 'Like.. Do I have to go out with you If I am single?' She thought to herself and was annoyed by him.

Even though Asher had been wooing her, he never had made such a commotion.

All he did was, he had left his luxury building and palace like place and was living next door which was hardly reaching his expectations. He had made her breakfast every morning and dinner whenever she was back home tired. In all these 6 years, she had gotten used to his cooking. It was not like he was a master in cooking but he had learnt hard just for her, he had mastered every dish she had loved.

Waking up early in the morning, making breakfast for her, even though she never eats with him, preparing a lunch box and all sorts of things. Getting ready to send her to the Lab and keeping in check that there's no one present.

Coming back to take her back home and cook delicious dinner for her after working even harder than her.

He was the biggest businessman of Europe and yet he was doing all the things for her which she had never shown her appreciation to.

"Say Something...Why the hell did you lie to me? Did you not say you had a boyfriend? Why? Is there no one? "

He held her hand tightly and asked in a fury.

All the people from the Lab and students from the Campus gathered around them to see what was going on…

"Look… Look at her… The whole University knows how madly I am chasing after her but see… Look at her she lied to me that she had been in a relationship all the while..."

His voice was too loud and more and more people started gathering around..

"What are you doing Professor…? Don't let me lose my respect for you" Jane was truly embarrassed by his behavior. It was not the first time for him making such commotions but it was always in their group and only the few people who knew them were present but this time almost the whole of the campus was there and she was feeling really very humiliated...

"Woah… Woah… She doesn't want me to lose her respect for me…!! Do you hear guys… Did you just hear what this girl had said just now?"

"Professor is right...He had been chasing for almost a decade..." A member of her lab said almost whispering but she could still hear them as they were not that much far from her.

"Yes, right… She is a vixen… Men are around her all the time but still she had been acting all smug and pure"

The other one replied to the first one.

"What the hell are you saying? It's her choice to choose a man of her life… We are no one to force it onto her" One of them replied who knew Jane very well 

"What ? her? She is such a poor person who doesn't have money to eat in the canteen or restaurants with us. She brings her lunchbox with her to eat and on top of that her drinks are brought by her from her house"

People kept on talking and specticualting on her situation without thinking about her.. She had never thought that one day she would be humiliated this bad by her own colleagues and friends.
