When Elijah recovered his consciousness, he was lying on top of a patch of greyish grass. The energy density was the same as the Celestial World which means he was transported to somewhere in the Void Territory.
Elijah observed his surroundings while scratching his head, anxiously."I must find a way to locate myself in this place."
There was no way he didn't know how bad the situation was. With the size of the celestial realm, it will take some time for the news arrive here. Yet Elijah sat on the grass and punched the ground furiously. At that moment he knew even an ant could kill him without any effort, inspecting his inner space Elijah sighed with relief when seeing four silhouettes flying towards him.
"Master!"
"Master, what happened with our home?"
"Yeah, I'm curious too about what happened."
"Do you need our help?"
Under the four fairies barrage of questions, Elijah showed a smile before taking all of them under his embrace. He could feel everything he achieved turning into nothing when facing a supreme and overwhelming power and this made him feel powerless. The four fairies around him also lost their l.u.s.ter, they power were also striped away when he forsake his cultivation.
"I need power..."
Hearing Elijah's mutter, the four fairies nod and returned his embrace before turning their eyes to the sole rune floating in his inner space. The rune emanated contant flux of light and looked like a white sun illuminating the world.
[All the preparations are finished. It is time to become one. Melt!]
A voice different from all other he heard before ressounded in his mind when the brilliant rune started to dissolve, releasing an force that resonates deep within his soul. For a moment his entire body loses all color and turned into a glassy figure before he returned to normal.
"So this is it..." Only at this moment he truly understood. If the supreme origins were just what he saw, then it was really useless for that ancient race to waste their lives in the creation of such a treasure.
"By relinquish my cultivation and other power, my empty body could finally hold the full power of one." The rune inside him was nowhere to be seen, no he became the supreme origin. Instead of borrowing external energies, he was his own energy.
"The four of you come out." Hearing his voice the four of them left his body and stood over the grass while Elijah stared at them with a air of contemplation.
"Even I can't see if the present me is strong or weak..." He didn't even need to guess what he became. From now on he was not just Elijah, he was Time, his own time. Countless thought crossed his mind when he waved his hand, eyes locked on the grass. Without any moment of energy, the grey grass naturally started aging on a speed much more faster than normal before it quickly became black.
"Master?" The four fairies stared at Elijah with curiosity. Anyone could see the present Elijah in front of her was nothing more than an ordinary mortal with a body even demigods would be envious of. Waving his hand once again, the grass recovered their color and to its youthful state once again.
"This is not pure brute power, but it does the job. Right now, I'm more like a superhuman like those you seen in movies than a cultivator..." There was nothing he could say, he didn't had to worry about wasting energy anymore as he could move time just with his will. There was not skills or anything else, everything just lay bare to him.
When looking at a tree, even its past were revealed to him and this made Elijah close his eyes. Despite not being the absolute power he needed, it was still good to have something left. It was just that he decided to learn how to control it before leaving to the nearby town.
....
Three months later, a young man in his twenties was sitting cross-legged on the ground. Even with his eyes closed he could see everything happening in his surroundings. With each breath he took, time would follow him, beasts and the animals gathered around him, aged and died before their bodies turned into bones then dust, before from the dust, bones formed and flesh reshaped the bodies of those who died. The man was fully immersed in his training and soon hundreds of beasts gathered around him to pay respects and to experient the strange phenomenon of death and rebirth.
Walking towards this hill was a couple men and women with long ink-black hair and grey eyes. They carried nothing by the armors in their body that shone with numerous seals that formed some sort of energy field that made them all invisible while concealing their auras. It was when their leader, a mature lady with her black hair in a ponytail stepped forward.
"Remember why we came here, countless beast have been gathered on the other side of the hill and the town is getting anxious. We must assure what is happening and make any necessary actions. Northwest of here is the great city of Eternia, the house of our king, we must make sure nothing happens on the oncoming ceremony."
On the middle of his training, Elijah was focused on this new power of his. From what he heard the peak of the time laws were the power to erase anything from existence, however at the moment he started to see a lot of different paths.
"If there is a path of destruction, then I will follow the path of unity." This was something he started thinking for some time, maybe the best way was something one of his selves knew. Elijah understood that cultivating on any path right now would not make any good, he just had to adapt to his power, if even then he can not face his enemy than he would have to follow that path.
"Origin Towers..."
