'Days went by like a breeze for me, everything was happening so fast. Everyday, I would go to class and barely listen and then I would switch to my alter ego and lecture. Even the b.a.r.e basics were life changing for those kids. It's almost as if I got the textbook to the universe!'
Another week went by, Simon had already gained the trust and respect of the whole class. His teachings were godlike to all of them, and his words were as clear as a gunshot to the ear. By now, Simon had neglected his social life for quite some time and some people that knew him were starting to get suspicious, but he didn't care. Simon was busy with formulating lectures and scheming. He had already given up on the main protagonist and the lot by now, he instead decided to focus his attention to his new class. Along with teaching, he ate into his sleeping schedule to practice his dagger arts and his other skills.
His class had much potential since he was teaching them. Each and every one of them could become a genius tier student under his tutelage, and he didn't bother to be modest. At times he would point out how only he could teach such methods and how his lectures were clearly superior. The annoying fact for some was that he was right, his lectures were pure genius to anyone that listened.
And another month passed in the blink of an eye.
"Professor White, thank you for teaching us!" It was now the end of the lecture for the day, and everyone was spirited and thankful.
"Well, see you tomorrow! Make sure to practice the exercise!" Simon yelled.
Everyone left quickly and so did Simon. This time, Simon wanted to take a long break since he had been teaching for a straight month like a madman. There were even times that Simon had neglected sleep for multiple days in a row. As such, this called for a relaxation break. Some R&R.
Just as he was about to walk out he heard, "Prof, can you help me with something?" It was Jack.
"Sure, Jack. What do you need help with?"
"I was wondering... I want to become stronger, but I am lagging behind everyone in class. I want to take some extra homework so I can catch up and become stronger!" Jack said with conviction.
At this point Simon couldn't help but smile, never in his mind would he imagine this asshole to gain such commitment. Maybe teaching this class was more interesting than he originally thought...
"I also want to become your personal student." Jack quickly spoke.
"Woah there... You have to work much harder if you want to become my personal student." Simon responded while internally sweating.
"I know, and I am ready for it. In this last month, I have grown as a person. To become strong is to know and be able to do. I want to become someone that can be looked up to, like you are to the class." Simon announced wholeheartedly as he kept perfect eye contact. Everything he had said was from his heart. In just a month of attending Simon's lectures, Jack had changed as a person. He had realised that strength wasn't only the power of his direct combat power, but his knowledge and wisdom.
"Jack, as my personal student, you would be subject to gruelling training, long hours of study, unending work. Are you sure you would want that?"
"I would even call you father if I could just learn under you!" Jack answered.
"Then very well. You will be assigned extra work everyday from now on. You will also meet me for extra instruction once a week on Mondays. I expect you to hold true to your word. Do not disappoint me."
"Yes Teacher!"
"Wrong. Aren't you forgetting something?"
"Yes father."
"Do well in you training, and I can guarantee your growth! You are not studying under a measly Expert Visionary! You are studying under a Master!"
"!!!" Jack could barely hold his expression as excitement coursed through him, paired with reverence.
"If you work hard enough and reach Elite Visionary, I will gift you a tier 5 painting, along with my family name."
