"So, have you decided about the next steps?" Luke asked. "We had planned a few things even before we went to Earth… we had planned to work without allies and then attack the enemy's camps one by one," Rina said. "I think we should do that while we look for the other groups of elves. I don't know much about the progress of others. Still, I suppose Luthi is one of the most advanced elves, and he apparently can only keep his original form for seven seconds."

"So, he will only come in a month… Jennifer's group should be around the same level," Luke nodded. "I suppose we can't wait for that long."

If their partners manage to learn Meditation, they can decrease that time, but it was hard to imagine them saving that many gold coins. Regardless, Rina began to draw on the ground the map of the area. According to her followers, there were a few overlords south from that mountainous area… it was also the area where most of the elves lived in the past. East from their current location was the destroyed the camp that they left. By heading West, they would have to cross several mountains. Still, North of their current location, there were many crystals, and the closest groups of elves were also in that area.

"Usually, I would want to destroy the crystals as soon as possible, but we can't… we need to use them to keep leveling up my people," Rina said. "Our numbers decreased a lot more than I expected, so we need to keep improving by using them… even if we ended up sacrificing a part of this world to the enemy."

Luke nodded. He would need some targets now that he was planning to make Weapon Augmentation reach the next rank in rarity level. To make things faster, he should be the one to take down those monsters, and the elves can work by being the parts or the meat of the monsters.

While looking at his status, Luke wondered if he shouldn't keep increasing his focus even more. It was by far his highest parameter already. Still, considering the level of his skills, it was apparent that Luke didn't have a recovery rate good enough.

"I think it would be for the best if only a few of us go to search for the other groups and the ones who will stay behind still work to strengthen this new stronghold," Rina said. "However, I don't know what we should do here."

Luke rubbed his chin thoughtfully. They couldn't change the environment all that much without alerting some monsters. They couldn't do the same thing as Luke's group did on Earth. The elves could use magic to strengthen their bodies, but it would take too much time to dig inside the mountain. Unfortunately, few of them actually had any offensive spells.

"There is this spell called quagmire, it turns the ground into a pool of mud, do you think we can use that to increase the size of the cave inside the dungeon?" Luke asked.

"I suppose it is possible, by weakneninf the ground in some points, it will become easier to break some walls," Rina said. "All right, let's make some of the elves learn that and put it into practice."

There was the problem about the drainage of the mud as well, but Luke solved that by making the elves craft some wooden carts, buckets, and shovels. Now they had many ways to get rid of the mud. Luke didn't find the need to learn that. It would only mess with the battlefield, and the most of the time, fights with his body. Creating a loose footing would only make things complicated for a careless guy like him. In any case, some elves learned quagmire at midnight, and the next day, they began to use it inside the cave. As expected, the water and humidity made things a lot easier for them to dig inside.

Rina gave them some instructions of what they should do, creating a map of the cave, some exits at the bottom of the mountain, and also creating some dead ends for the sake of traps. When she informed them that she was going to look for the other groups, they said that they wanted to go as well, but in the end, she convinced them to stay behind. The chances of some of them dying along the way were high, and Rina wanted to conserve her forces as much as possible to the day when they would recover their home planet.

"I guess everything is ready… lead the way my queen," Luke said.

"You keep calling me that, you better not get angry when I start acting like one and demand unreasonable things from you," Rina frowned. "Like a foot massage."

"With pleasure," Luke said and then approached while making weird movements with his hands.

"I was kidding! I was kidding!" Rina panicked.
