Luke waited for the enemy to show up, but she never did it. So, he continued his rampage. Eventually, that fire tornado appeared again, but before Luke could suffer any real damage from it, an explosion happened in the air and made something fall on the ground. At the same time, the tornado dissipated. It was quite annoying for those unexpected things to happen so often. Quite unnerving as well...

"Let's stop with the games…" Cresta suddenly appeared and then said. "This is a waste of time. By now, you should realize that you won't be able to kill them with petty tricks."

Luke toward the place where the thing had fallen off, and then he frowned when he saw a half woman and half snake. Since she was red in most parts of her body, she truly looked like a lamia.

"Note to self… keep leveling up Appraisal and then raise the rank of this shit," Luke thought. "I am sick and tired of seeing this many question marks."

In any case, it seemed that Snake woman was a crazy good magician, and so was Cresta since they kept fighting while flying for quite a while. Maybe it was because of that that their spells didn't spread much destruction.

After glaring at Luke for a while, the snake woman suddenly made a red magic staff appear on her hands. Luke wondered if she knew space magic or if she used other tricks, but it was quite the neat power to have. Cresta just observed the enemy since she was unarmed, Luke didn't like waiting for the enemy, but in the end, he did the right thing in doing so. In the next seconds, several meteorites began to fall on the battlefield. 

Luke's friends reunited in a single spot to attack the meteorites that were heading toward them. As for Luke, he approached Rina and swung his ax to destroy those five meters long stones. Somehow, he managed to attack and destroy those in time, but at every moment he did it, he felt his body cracking. To think that the enemy had a mage that could summon dozens of those at the same time without running out of mana…

Cresta just flew around to dodge the strikes… she sure was unconcerned since her poker face didn't break, even though thousands of monsters in her army had been smashed to the ground. 

"Area of effect attacks won't do it any good. If you keep ignoring me, I will kill you instantly," Cresta declared.

The snake woman bit her lips in anger with her canine… she didn't like to hear that. She felt insulted probably in the same way the horse-face did since they considered their enemies to be much inferior than them, even though they already had lost one of their allies to them. 

"Let's solve this in a duel," the snake woman said. "I will stop my army, and you will stop yours. It is the quickest way to solve this."

Luke almost facepalmed when he heard that. Do those guys only know the same stupid trick? Cresta maybe wasn't aware of how things proceeded with Luke's duel, but he was right there… Not to mention, that was a clear act of desperation since Luke's allies were nearby and ready to offer support if the need arises… At the very least, they can prevent all the monsters from interfering. 

Cresta didn't react in any way to those words. Instead of that, she just kept looking at the enemy without changing her expression. Then suddenly, several ice spears appeared around the snake woman and then pierced her body.

"I told you that you would die if you don't take things seriously," Cresta said.

The snake woman made the ice spears evaporate, and then she fired some spinning Fireballs toward Cresta. She flew toward the enemy while dodging those… Luke clicked his tongue when he saw that. Cresta really wasn't giving them a single thought. The fireballs fell around them while hitting some monsters and even elves and exploding upon contact. She was only worried about winning… Luke never will treat someone like that as an ally… those who paid no mind to his safety and his friends were almost as troublesome as the enemies. 

Cresta kept charging at the snake woman, but whenever she got too close, some firewalls appeared that emitted a dark smoke, and she was forced to retreat. Those weren't ordinary flames… 

"It is time to put out plan into practice," Cresta said when she realized that charging at the enemy wouldn't be enough. "Prepare yourself. You will need support."

Luke didn't like that… Cresta was giving them orders just because she couldn't see any other option. Still, Luke stayed silent because that battle was for the sake of the elves' world. Besides, he had an idea of what Cresta was planning. So, he put Rina in his arms.

"Wha… what are you doing?" Rina asked, visibly embarrassed.

"I am securing my support," Luke said.

In the next moment, a massive pillar of ice emerged from the ground and then sent Luke flying to the distance… toward the snake woman's fortress. It was ten kilometers away from them, but Luke, Rina, and Shalia reached the place with a single impulse. However, the place wasn't deserted… Luke and the others saw some red ghost-like things standing still on the fortress… thousands of them
