"Well, she's undergoing a massive change in life. You should be more considerate for her," Frederic uttered with a sigh. His eyes remained glued on the plants around the garden.

"You're getting old. I should be with you and take care of you, dad." Hardy was right. Frederic was in poor health several years ago, so he stayed in a foreign country to recuperate.

Although he had gotten much better now, the old man still needed assistance and guidance.

"You are right!" Frederic sighed resignedly and said, "What is Derick and his family doing? They haven't visited me in the past few months. I miss them a lot."

"You know he hates you, right? And even Joseph too! Those two are really cruel, huh?" Although Hardy tried to be careful with his words, it still came out full of disdain.

"I can say that, but you can't," Frederic asserted, turning his head to his son. Then, with a snort, he continued, "Although I gave the TS Group to Charles, I didn't treat Derrick any less. I have transferred almost all the cash and funds to them, enough to cover their living expenses for several lives. What's more, Joseph has his own company. Isn't that enough?"

"Well, I guess you're right. That should be enough for them!" Afraid of displeasing his father, Hardy hastily echoed, nodding his head several times.

"What?" But Frederic pulled a long face again as if he didn't like what his son had just said.

Hard

sive eyes, she looked at the young girl and said, "It's your mommy!" Then, without looking back, she ran upstairs.

"What's wrong, Grandma?" The confusion was written all over Nadia's face as she stared at Angelina's disappearing figure.

They were just happy playing together, and after a phone call, she receded back to being horribly unrelenting again.

"It's great-grandpa..." Bobby responded, frowning. Because Frederic spoke loudly on the phone, he could hear his voice even from where he stood.

"Is great grandpa a bad person?"

"No! Of course not! He is nice!

But he could be very strict sometimes."

Seeing as to how Nadia was slightly startled, Bobby flashed a reassuring smile at her.

'That old man!' Angelina thought while rushing to the study with a hard look on her face.

She pushed the door with a bang and barged in.

However, she was welcomed with such an unexpected scene––Charles was rolling his wheelchair, and he was making out with Nancy.

After staring blankly at them for three seconds, Angelina shut the door and ran back downstairs. She didn't know what to do, and her frustration was already reaching its peak.

"Charles..." Nancy uttered in the middle of their kiss. Her face was all red as she had already seen Angelina barged in while they were cozy.

She tried to push Charles away, but the latter frowned and said painfully, "Don't move. You'll hurt my wound."
