This kind of flower was native to Africa and was used by the indigenous people as a pain reliever. Jay brought the flower to study its medicinal value, but never did he expect that Doris would make a porridge out of it.
Jay thought, 'What the hell was this woman thinking? Is she that desperate to have sex with me? Maybe she is trying to get pregnant with my child.'
"Tell me! What the hell were you thinking?
Doris!"
However, Doris could no longer hear Jay. White foam was bubbling on her lips as she mumbled like an addict.
"Damn it, Doris!" This was the first time Jay ever swore loudly. He could not stand it anymore.
Jay seized the unconscious Doris and dragged her to the bathroom. After filling the bathtub with cold water, he directly threw her into it.
"Doris, you deserve this. But I don't want you to die!"
After saying that, Jay left the bathroom.
Jay decided to use the guest room tonight. After taking a shower, he went to bed. Tonight was different for Jay. Regardless of how he toss
ugh.
It seemed like Jay had...disappeared.
There was no news of Jay even after three to four days passed. 'What is he doing?' Doris wondered. What was he trying to do by leaving her all alone?
In a panic, her mind was coming up with a lot of speculations. But none of them reduced Doris' worries. What happened to him?
Did he get into a car accident, or did some of his old illness flared up?
Doris quickly denied her conjecture. Jay was the young master of the Fang family. If he died, there would definitely be news about him.
So, was he ignoring her on purpose?
Why would he do that?
Just when Doris was confused and puzzled, she received a call from Nancy.
Doris picked the phone, and she could hear Nancy's voice coming from the other side. "Doris, you have completely forgotten about me ever since you married that man, haven't you?"
"What's the matter with you? Why are you so pissed off?" Doris knew that Nancy had a very easygoing and calm nature. So, what could make such a person angry?
