How could Nancy not know what Jessie was thinking? She was timid but sinister and scheming.
The villain might be someone like Jessie.
Jessie rolled her eyes and said, "Director Nancy, just treat her like the child that she is. Don't lose your cool with her."
Nancy shrugged, "It doesn't matter. I'm not particularly close with her."
"That's good. Keep it that way. Director Nancy, I'm leaving now." Jessie smiled before she stood up and walked out.
"Okay," Nancy said to Jessie's retreating figure coldly.
Back in her office, Jessie thought about the situation for a while and felt more and more uneasy. She wanted to know the truth, but she didn't know if she could handle it.
What on earth did Anna do to Nancy? And how did Nancy fight back?
Jessie was worried about it but now that she had an idea, she was caught in a situation where she couldn't ask anyone about it.
Now, Anna and Nancy were both calm. And Jessie was the one stressing about it!
Anna was also distracted during the operation.
Although her father had helped her cover up the situ
ie, she had been working very carefully, fearing that she would make a mistake. She came to work first and left late. She was afraid of getting into any more trouble because of her carelessness.
Erin was so cautious and she was still bullied by Anna. How could Nancy not be angry?
So, Nancy dragged her and rushed to the First Pediatric Department.
"Dr. Anna, please explain why you hurt Erin!" Nancy shouted at Anna as soon as she entered Jessie's office.
"What's wrong, Director Nancy?" Jessie asked immediately.
"I'm asking Anna, not you!" Rage hummed all over Nancy as she stared at Anna and said, "Anna, Erin is in my department. If she did something wrong, just tell me. Why would you hit her? Who gave you the right?"
Anna smiled. "Oh, Director Nancy, don't listen to that bitch's nonsense. How could I hit her? She walked and accidentally bumped into me."
As she spoke, she walked up to Erin and looked down her nose with a contemptuous smile. "Right, Erin?"
"I...I..." Erin stammered. It felt like her tongue froze and she couldn't say anything else.
