Charles leaned forward and stared straight into Nancy's eyes. "Who bought it for you?"
"Oh, I had an operation this afternoon. My dress was splashed with coffee, so I bought one and changed it. Is there a problem?" Although Nancy didn’t want to lie to Charles, she was forced to do so.
"Nothing. You look good no matter what you wear. Well, Hiram bought western food for the children. I see that you’re beginning to like western food more. How does it taste?" His voice was dripping with sarcasm.
"It tastes good. Would you like some?" There was definitely wrong with Charles today, but Nancy couldn't tell what it was.
When Charles went to the bathroom to wash his hands, Nancy tried to think but she really couldn’t figure it out.
After washing his hands, Charles sat down opposite to Nancy and picked up the chicken burger which Hiram bought for them to eat.
While eating, he said vaguely, "Hiram really didn't know how to buy food for the chil
ntered the bedroom, she was chased in by Charles.
There were still some pieces of burger on the corner of his mouth, which had never happened before. He was a neat freak. How could he allow himself to be so messy?
At this point, he only cared about how Nancy looked like.
His burning eyes scanned Nancy’s dress.
"What the hell do you want, Charles?" As if Nancy didn't know Charles, she stepped back with and crossed her arms on her chest.
"Are you afraid of me? Nancy, tell me, why are you afraid of me?" Step by step, Charles walked closer to her.
"Because you look like a hungry wolf now. I hate you now, Charles!" Nancy shouted angrily, "Get out. I don't want to quarrel with you. We need to calm down and think about our relationship."
With gritted teeth, Charles roared, "Nancy, have you met another guy and have no interest in me anymore? Don't forget that you are a mother of two children now. And you are going to be married soon!"
