With his two short legs, Bobby followed Charles to the guest room.
He pushed the door open and watched his father lift the quilt and lie down on the bed. After turning off the lights, Bobby immediately walked out and went to his bedroom.
Meanwhile, Nancy was welcomed by the empty living room when she got out of the bathroom after taking a shower.
Where were they? How could it be so quiet?
To answer her questions, Nancy tiptoed into Nadia's room and found out she was already asleep. Then she went to Bobby's room next and saw him lying on the bed.
Seeing Nancy peeping at him, Bobby made a face.
"I just came here to say that you are so good today." With an apologetic smile, Nancy walked out of the room.
To her surprise, the master bedroom was empty. She didn't expect that Charles wasn't there!
What was this moody man doing?
Did he refuse to sleep with her?
But Charles was not the type of person to sleep in the guest room, was he?
The more Nancy thought about it, the stranger she felt. She went out and tiptoed to the guest room to see him.
When she was about to open the door and frighten Charles, sh
she still couldn't fall asleep.
So, Daisy grabbed a pillow and held it in her arms, thinking that it could help, but it didn’t.
Was it because she had gotten used to being held by Joseph in his arms when they slept? Did she become dependent on him?
"Damn it!" With this thought, Daisy felt upset. She didn't know whether she was cursing Joseph or herself for developing such a bad habit.
It was not until dawn that Daisy fell asleep, and when she woke up the next morning, she habitually shouted, "Joseph, it's time for you to get up and make breakfast."
When she didn’t get any response, Daisy sat up to wake him up, only to realize that Joseph had been taken away by the police.
In a daze, she lay down again. Since Joseph was not here and the movie couldn't be filmed, she decided to go back to sleep, but she couldn’t.
From time to time, she picked up her phone to check if there was any message from Joseph. She even turned the phone's volume to the maximum level, for fear that she would miss his call.
To her dismay, no matter how many times she looked at her phone, she didn’t receive any text or call from him.
