Breathe, swirl, condense and try to repair cracks on the Broken Vessel.
Tang Ling tried to 'feel' the fluidity of Flux. Although the post described the process, it lacked the proper method to repair the vessel. In a way, it would be like developing a fighting style from a phrase that you've heard someone say: "Fighting is all about legs and fists."
However, while difficult, it was quite similar to the breathing technique of the Game World. So Tang Ling tried to replicate this feeling and before ten o'clock, he heard a notification.

"That's a good sign, it shows that I'm in a good direction."
Tang Ling nodded before saying falling asleep.
---------
It was a fine morning in the Game World.
Tang Ling woke up on a bed. The bed of the inn.
By that time, Tang Ling had a little clue of what happened after he "disappeared".
At that stage, by means what Tang Ling could not understand, the others would simply as nothing happened. The exact reaction is still uncertain however, no one ever asked him where he went or why they couldn't find him.
However, there's a particular state that attracted his attention.
[Well-Slept
After having a well-deserved sleep, you feel quite energized for the day. +60% Stamina.]
This only appeared after he went to bed but didn't appear yesterday. Perhaps it was a luck-based state, similar that sometimes after waking up, you would feel tired or energized.
It meant that while he 'disappears', this world or system still considered that he was 'here'. It's still bizarre so he shouldn't try to pointlessly guess. He would only do so when he felt that there's enough information.
Tang Ling stood up and opened the door, only to see a fellow disciple about to knock the door. It was not Feng Cai, this time but an unfamiliar face.
Here he stood, dignified and of a sunny smile. He wore flying crane badge, a badge reserved to seniors of the Wandering Sect; representing freedom. Although unfamiliar, his face quite common and did not seem powerful, Tang Ling did not dare to be disrespectful.
After all, he was a senior. In this new world, it would seem that seniority is really, really important.
"Good morning, senior."
Although hidden inside his white robe, a sharp eye could detect a faint outline of well-toned muscle. It was neither too little or too much, just the right proportion. In Tang Ling's opinion, this was an example of an ideal body. The peak form of the human body.
"Good morning, junior. You're quite an early bird. The brothers necessitated some help to wake up, there was also a cold-faced youngster like you who just woke up but was still sleepy. Anyway, go to the main hall and wait for the new expedition. It's not mandatory but it will help foster connections and help us understand you better. Master Gu will brief about the details of this expedition but knowing him, it will probably be about justice or something."
The senior left leaving Tang Ling a little confused. An expedition? Is it like the rumored school trip that only rich kids could go to?
***
The new disciples were waiting for Master Gu to explain the contents for the expedition.
Here, the middle-aged man was accompanied by two other disciples who appeared to be seniors; one who conversed with Tang Ling and the other was a silent calm man who seemed like he tempered his mind to become one with nature.
After sitting down, the inspector looked around to see if any disciples were missing, visibly satisfied to see that no one was skipping and went to talk about the details.
"We will hunt some demons and monsters who are troubling the villagers. Two days ago, there had been a report of a middle-scale massacre near Wawa Village which totals twenty young men, thirteen elders, and eleven children. The authorities suspect an unintelligent monster is at work or a demonic ritual. We'll go out and see who is the perpetrator of this massacre, the rewards of the court are 10 gold coins and choice between a weapon of the Northern Great Keep or ten items from the Chamber of Spirit."
Murmurs could be heard in the room and Tang Ling could hear them; giving him a clearer picture of the situation.
A middle-scale massacre usually involved around 50 people and for someone or a group to do this, they were definitely strong to both kill them and have the guts to challenge the authority. Unlike the commoners in his world, this world's commoners cultivates martial art. In this group of fifty, there should at least be ten First Stage or even a 2nd Stage martial artist which should put a good fight against the enemy. As such, for a bunch of 2nd Stage disciples, this quest was very difficult; with a casualty at the lowest and the entire team wipeout at the highest. But since the supervisor came along, the danger was minimized.
However, the rewards were also plentiful. The Northern Great Keep was a famous location that hosted the finest weapons in the northern world. In short, the minimum quality was Rare.
As for the Chamber of Spirit, this was also a famous location. It was a place in which the Eternal Solitude Sect lived, and the items displayed were magical items that could save lives and were worth at least a few golds. However, the access wasn't permitted to any Tom, D.i.c.k, and Harry. Only people who were recommended by a special officer could enter.
'Wow. This is very generous, the rewards are roughly 30 gold coins which three times more than the rewards I obtained from Red Pass!'
"Oh, I forgot about the Jugun Core I had. But it should have finished incubating long ago..."
When the disciples agreed, most of them were greedy for the rewards. After all, even though some are of noble birth, they still couldn't enter the Chamber of Spirit. This was because the people living here were very secretive and even powerful enough to not comply with the ruling governor's demands.
Excited by the idea of visiting this mysterious place, the disciples quickly prepared their supplies and waited for the start of the expedition.
Tang Ling was also affected by the hype train as the Feng brothers, so he too felt quite excited about it.
