Chapter 58 - Fighting, Ah Shun

Shun deadpanned. They were super serious. Smacking his face, he quickly followed his teammates to the training room. They moved as quickly as they could and learned as much as they could with the limited time they had. They didn't even need to fight for positions since their dear producer, whoever it was, assigned it to them.

While they trained, up on the surface, the host had announced a new arrival.

"We are excited to announce the producer and co manager of the new idol group Symmony: Donny Wang!"

Everyone stood up and clapped for the seasoned idol and producer. With over 2 decades under his belt and a new studio, the well known idol made a deal with the television studio. Now, he was going to get big with this new group who already had followings. That was even better for him!

Donny Wang walked in with sunglasses, blue hair and a grin stretching across his face. Dressed in a puffed out jacket with gold markings and strutting like a cool lion, he waved at everyone. He smiled at the cameras and greeted the judges and the young idols, before sitting at the judges table.

"You must be excited to see their performance, Mr. Wang," Manager Bon smiled.

"Yes, I have been since the beginning," the man laughed rubbing his hands, "I found out on my way here who made it. I am pleased."

"While we wait," The host spoke up, "Our female idols came up with a song, exclusively for this show as support for the new group, Symmony."

Suu Jin watched as the females took to the stage and his eyes, tried as he might, could not avoid Gina. Everything about her was as if she was her past self, the one he remembered and dreamt of from time to time. The one who changed, the one who broke his heart, seemed to not be the brunette anymore.

'Did going away for that long changed her? Was she back for something again? What did she mean she was not an idol anymore? Did she give it up? No… that was impossible,' Jin thinned his lips.

Down on the first floor, Shun was so glad he was in the fourth position. He did not need to memorize a lot of lines. He just had to focus on dancing the most, which worked for him. 2 hours was going by quickly and he had to commend the choreographer for making the dance a bit easier than the others. Most of the times they were standing and looking cute or sexy. That was fine for him!

They had five minutes left and was used to retouch and head back up the elevator. As they were nearing the top, they could hear the beautiful voice of Suu Jin singing. Shun felt his face warm and he stared at the elevator doors.

'Come on, come on,' he was like a dog waiting for his treat, 'Open, open, op-'

Quickly exiting the elevator, Shun felt his breath escaped his lips. He had to hold onto someone, anyone, to stay standing. Watching Suu Jin this close in performance was… mind blowing. Emerald eyes opened in a turn and caught his blue ones. For a moment, Shun wanted to run to him and kiss the pinkette over and over and over-

Those eyes left his and the magic was gone. Sucking in his breath, he exhaled deeply as the song ended. The pinkette bowed and waved to everyone before leaving the stage. The host spoke up and Symmony walked to the stage.

"Wow! They look really good together, huh?" Producer Ryoshi exclaimed happily.

"I agree! They are perfect!" Donny Wang grinned and Shun… Shun felt like his heart flew away.

Donny Wang… the man… the idol Xiong Shun had been admired to be like. The man that enamored Xiong Shun since a child. He felt his nerves skyrocketed into the air.

"Stress 80%. Reach Level 4- Dancing: Powerful. Fan accumulated 13654/1000000. Congratulations, Prince Shun."

He stared and smiled at the handsome prince below him.

'Thank you, Prince Peter.'

"Mr. Wang, would you like to say a few words to your new group?" The host questioned.

'Oh my gawd! Donny Wang is… He is our manager too?! I… Oh my gawd!'

Shun was having an internal melt down, but he could not help being extremely happy.

'Ah! Xiong Shun, I hope you are watching this! Your idol will be our manager! What luck is this!'

"Preform well and I am happy to have you as my idol. Preform poorly and we would need to talk."

"…"

"…"

'Was that… Was that his 'You can do it!' speech?! That was terrible! Even my baby sister could say something more encouraging!'

Shun frowned and was quickly called out for it, causing his face to redden with embarrassment. Clearing his throat, he answered the question to why he frowned.

"I am extremely happy to be under Senior Wang. I hope we can make him proud. We will do our best, Senior Wang," Shun finished with a bow.

"You stated Mr. Wang is your idol, is that correct, Xiong Shun?" The host questioned and he nodded.

"Oh," Donny Wang grinned, "Then I expect even more from you, Xiong Shun."

'Great…'

"Fighting, Ah Shun," Prince Peter's voice filtered through and he found his cheeks warm.

Nodding, they got into position and he took a deep breath.

They moved, danced, smiled, and sang in harmony. They looked at the audience, winked at them, and even to the female idols- especially Mikey who seemed to be stuck in that portion of the stage. Shun switched sides with Mikey half way into the song and blew a kiss to the female idols and he forced his dry lips to continue singing. Why? The look on Suu Jin's face melted him. Ah~ Shun had to look away before he forgot everything and his legs becomes noodle again.

When they finished and posed at the end of the song, everyone stood up and cheered. Donny Wang's eyes brightened and glittered, happy to be given such a great group! More fireworks and confetti shot into the air before the host ended the show. Shun was hugging his teammates and then, hugging his family and friends again.

He looked over to try to find Jin. He really hoped he could go home now and rest. Maybe visit Jin like before and maybe… maybe sleep over…
