Heeang and Mikey, two of the youngest from the group he was in, was a sight for sore eyes.
Shun was so tired of only seeing Gina, Manager Oil, and the slew of hosts and reporters. Seeing them brought some great memories of their times on Project Idol and the short time as a group. He listened to their time together, the stories both boys experienced as a duet. He was a proud brother.
“They were so scared of you Ah Ang,” Mikey laughed with chewed meat in his mouth, “I thought they might end up running away, but THEY LIKED IT EVEN MORE!”
Mikey laughed so loud, Shun could see eyes turning to them. The lanky boy choked and pound his chest in hopes to clear his throat. Heeang rolled his eyes and smacked his friend’s back multiple times, even when the taller boy was done coughing.
“So people like that face of yours, huh?” Shun grinned and laughed when the youngest boy’s lips frowned deeper. Ah, he missed Heeang and his bad attitude… kind of.
“Shut up,” the boy frowned, “Where is Gina? Isn’t she supposed to be here with us?”
“She is with Producer Xie, the one who helped with our album,” Shun frowned deeply and cut harshly into his steak, “Said she’d meet us later with our managers.”
Heeang and Mikey stared as their former leader was mumbling incoherent words. Blue eyes were glaring at his meat as if it was his opponent. Both boys looked at one another before nodding to one another.
“Hey Shun, since we still have time before we meet up, why don’t we meet with a few friends?” Mikey questioned with an innocent smile.
“Oh? Sure. It has been awhile since I saw you all,” Shun smiled feeling lifted from his internal anger at his steak…? So finishing up their meals, they took separate cars to meet up. Shun was still using his GPS on his phone for help. He may have memories of this time, but Xiong Shun nor he new his way around without help.
“Prince Shun,” Prince Peter covered his GPS with his smiling face, “You are happy.”
“Prince Peter,” Shun smiled with a nod, “I am, but can you like, move so I can see the map?”
“Take a right at the light coming up,” Prince Peter spoke in his gentleness.
“You my GPS now?” Shun laughed and turned his car.
“Whatever you wish, Ah Shun,” the prince grinned, “Mm, your destination is 2.9 miles away. Stay on your left lane, Prince Shun.”
Shun laughed and was very happy Prince Peter had been there for him, watching him sleep. Looking at Suu Jin’s pictures and checking up on everything about the pinkette only could do so much for his lonely heart. He checked up on Mix4U Boys, Shinny Dolls, and everyone he knew as well to see how his friends were doing. It made him happy, but all the more sad.
“Turn right up ahead. Your destination will be on your left, Prince Shun.”
“Thank you, Prince Peter!”
“Anything for you,” Prince Peter smiled and left his screen.
He sighed lovingly and pulled up to park. Shun stared at his phone for a moment and his smile slowly fell. Prince Peter… had always been so kind to him, even after he told the prince to leave him alone. The brown haired prince continued to come see him, until that day he found out-
The image of a white glove appeared in his mind.
“Don’t think about it,” he told himself and shook his head.
Shun left his car and entered the arcade. He noticed the place was empty and he wondered where his friends were. Walking around and eyes brightening from all the games he saw, he really wanted to pay. Back in his kingdom, the games they had were not as bright or flashy as the place he was in. From boxing speed bag to a large jackpot wheel, he wanted to try them all.
“Ah Shun?”
Blue eyes widened and he inhaled sharply. He swallowed, swallowed again… swallowed again. He… He must be dreaming or something. Did he fall asleep listening to Prince Peter’s voice and died in a car crash? Oh no… this was bad, so bad for him! He slowly turned around, so slow he could rival a sloth eating its meal. When he finally made the turn, Shun thought he…
‘Prince… Peter?’
Blinking his blue eyes over and over, the image of his princely crush was before him. This wasn’t right! How was Prince Peter here with him? It didn’t make sense!
Rubbing his eyes harshly, his lightly tanned skin was getting red. Fingers wrapped around his and he froze. Thin fingers pulled his hand away from his face and he blinked his eyes to clearly see emerald ones. Pink hair hidden under a black beanie and a white fluffy scarf wrapped around pale neck. The man was wearing a warm coat, the one Shun was reprimanding the pinkette to wear when he saw Suu Jin coughing online.
“You look nice,” Suu Jin smiled and removed his hands, “I didn’t expect to see you here.”
“I…” Shun clutched to his insides and forced the words out of his throat, “… hate you.”
Green eyes widened before the idol prince turned his face away. Shun really didn’t mean it! He had to do it or else… or else Jin would think it was okay that they were this close again. He couldn’t do that to the idol prince! He had to make sure Jin hated him, leave him alone so Gina couldn’t use anymore evidence against the pinkette.
Against him? He doesn’t care, but against Suu Jin? He cared a lot. No way would he let that bitch use Suu Jin again!
Suu Jin stuffed his hands in his coat and walked by him, leaving him standing with a heavy broken heart. This time, it was him, not the idol prince who broke them apart. He fisted his hands and shut his eyes. Shun really wished… wished things would be different, but they weren’t. He was stuck, wasn’t he?
“Ah! Suu Jin! There you are,” Lisa smiled brightly and gave a peck to the idol’s cheek. She glanced over to see the back of Shun’s back and looked to see sad emerald eyes.
“Ah Shun,” she spoke higher and the man turned to her, “Let us play together. The others are here too.”
“I… I should go back,” Shun forced a smile and tried his best to not look at Suu Jin’s eyes. He was hurting. They were hurting.
“But I haven’t seen you in so long. Tell me how life had been, Ah Shun. Please,” she grabbed his hand with her warm ones and he found his heart wavering.
“I will leave, Lisa,” Suu Jin announced offering an apologetic smile, “I should meet with Manager Yaotzu. Tell the others I am sorry. I’ll make it up to them.”
“But Ah Jin,” Lisa tried, but the pinkette shook his head and pecked her cheek before walking out of the arcade.
Ah… the plan had failed.
