Chapter 111 - Found Out You Really Love Ah Shun?

Shun’s heart… dropped. It dropped so far down through the floorboards to the depths of Hell. He could not reach to grab it, for his body was frozen. Sweat, cold and wet, leaked out of his pores to drench him with shivers.

“Shun? Hello? Are you freaking out?” Wen Dong’s voice slowly bled through to him.

“Hey, he is fine. Just caught hypothermia cause he is an idiot, but he is fine. Don’t worry. Baby Ping just overreacting,” Wen Dong scratched his head, “How are you, by the way?”

“I…” Shun had to swallow deeply to get his head back to the present, “Ah Dong. We need your help. There is a man who has threatened Gina’s life. I need… Do you have money I can borrow?”

“…”

“…”

“Uh… How much?”

“Um…. millions… if you have it?” Shun spoke quietly and he didn’t hear anything for a long time.

He looked over at Gina who was touching her stomach and Manager Oil who was also on the phone taking to someone. He stared at the ceiling hoping with all hopes that they were able to get the money they needed in time.

“I don’t have millions. We should… Let’s meet up. Bring Gina too so we can figure something out. Once Jin gets let out, we could meet at his big ass house. Okay?”

Wen Dong finished speaking with his friend and sighed.

‘Eh, what was it that Gina got into this time?’

He scratched his head and looked over at Ping Ping who was cuddling the idol prince. Walking over, he joined at the bedside and saw both emerald eyes looking at him. Touching the idol’s forehead, he grinned when Suu Jin was too tired to smack his hand away. The cousins narrowed their eyes at him and he only let out a soft laugh.

“You are an idiot,” Wen Dong patted the younger pinkette but staring at the older one, “Why would you go with such light clothing and not bring a thermo with you? I swear… You are just as much a baby as Ping Ping here.”

“Shut up,” Suu Jin narrowed his eyes and he watched as his dear little cousin made his way over his body to hug the muscled man. The idol prince’s eyes narrowed even more, that they looked like slits.

“Did it help?” Wen Dong questioned running his fingers through Ping’s curly pink locks, “Going out to nature and all? Did you find yourself?”

Jin didn’t say anything for a moment before looking at the wall before him. Charts and posters were hung, but he wasn’t reading them. His eyes glazed over as he remembered his time out alone in the mountains.

[Suu Jin got lost.

He looked at the map he bought and turned it one way and the other with his head tilted. Warm white scarf wrapped around his neck and a long coat tied around him, he sighed dropping his shoulders. Deciding to just continue, he walked forward up a hiking trail. Ah, maybe he should have used his GPS for this instead of going the old school way.

Honestly, he doesn’t even know how to read a map!

As he came up the trail and the mist was starting to form, he smiled because he knew he was close to the waterfalls. That at least, he retained from school. His skin prickled and goosebumps laid on his skin, but he breathed in the cool air as the dirt path became rocky.

Suu Jin had not gone to the mountains since he was a child with his grandparents.

He loved them very much and although they were no longer with him, he always felt they were watching over him. As he continued his path, he was surprised to find himself staring up at the waterfall. This close, he felt the splashes of the water against his face, wetting his clothes.

Laughing softly, he took a few feet back and stared at the rush of water cascading down the cliff above. Closing his emerald eyes, he hummed the tune his grandmother once song to him so long ago. The corner of his lips lifted when he had asked his grandmother where she learned the song. The senior woman laughed and patted his head softly.

“A good friend of mine, Sunzi {grandson),” she replied with such a gentle smile.

With wrinkles and tired eyes, Suu Jin still thought his grandmother was very beautiful. His grandfather walked over to sit beside them laughing goodheartedly. Jin was handed the meal boxes and began setting it on the mat they were sitting on. The sound of the waterfall was calming and he always loved this moment with his grandparents.

The pluck of a guitar string caught his attention.

His grandfather had arthritis and had a hard time playing the guitar like he could before. He was about to speak up, but the older man shook his head with a smile. The sound of the melody and the sound of the waves were in synced and married one another so well, that he could fall asleep to the lull of the melody.

“I miss you, Zufu (grandfather), Zumu (grandmother).”

He took a deep breath and went to the rock not too far away. He squatted down ran his finger over the knife mark of his grandparents and his name. Smiling, he sat down on top of it and wrapped the coat around him tighter. The cool air, the nice scenery, Suu Jin felt himself relax and-

“Ahchoo!”]

Letting out a sigh, Jin returned to the present. He was in a warm room with his cousin and Wen Dong.

“Mm.”

“So… found out you really love Ah Shun?”

“…”

“You know what,” Wen Dong grinned, “Ah Shun is handsome. Maybe I should ask him out. We’ve known each other for a long time and all. I’m sure he would say yes.”

Wen Dong grinned widely and waiting for Suu Jin to finally admit it. Then, they could at least move forward and get Shun to confess. Then, BAM! How simple was that? Jenell and her crazy plans! They should had just follow his plan instead. Things wouldn’t be so complicated.

Only one thing he forgot.

Ping Ping.

“No! Ah Dong is mine!”

“…”

“Ah Ping,” Suu Jin frowned and spoke quietly, “Why is he yours?”

“Cause!” Ping frowned and turned to look at his big cousin, “I love Ah Dong. I don’t want him to be like you and date everyone! That will just… It will just make me cry and I don’t like to cry all the time, you know!”
